I called on 1-6-2020 to have a price for new gutter on the back of home. They told me someone would call and set up time to come out. Received no call and a quote put on the back door from Design Gutter Co. on 1-9-2020. Which was not the correct location of the gutter to be put on home. They did the carport which we are going to be replacing. So I called on 1-9-2020 to have someone come back out for quote. They said would get phone call. It's been 7 days and still no call from company.

They responded quickly and effeciently. They put gutter guards to keep leaves. They put gutter guards all along the gutter and at the back of my house too.

Had left an F rating for not hearing back - found out they do not automatically get info from Angie's. After hearing back have given them an A for effort. Could not delete my original review.

Awesome!!! Everything went as promised. The installers were prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company.

This company had excellent ratings and a close friend highly recommended them, so that endorsement helped make our decision. Designer Gutters came in with the most competitive price and with a great guarantee. The rep who provided the quote on site recommended not putting gutters over the garage and over the short roof line above the small entrance to the home, which was reflected when drawing it out on the quote sheet. I explained that we were having water issues pooling around the exterior of the home and insisted we needed gutters around the entire home. He remeasured and wrote down on his quote "whole house gutters" next to the price, but did not re-draw out the areas that were added. I scheduled the install, and two days prior, I responsibly contacted the company to confirm, not only date and time, but to ensure color, price and the whole house gutters. When the installers showed up, I went over the job scope with them and the installer said that his paperwork did not reflect "whole house" as those words were either erased or whited out somehow on the copy he had. I quickly retrieved my carbon copy and showed him that it clearly stated "whole house." I immediately contacted the company and was told that the rep who quoted me was no longer working for them. I asked to speak to a manager, and put him on speaker phone so that the installer could hear along with me. I began to explain to the manager exactly what I have said thus far, in this review, and the manager, rudely interrupted me, saying, "would you shut up?" Stunned, I looked at the installer, whose mouth was gaping wide open with the same look of shock and dismay that I had on my face, and I immediately hung up the phone as I was not about to take another second of that type of verbal abuse. I asked the installer if he heard what I heard, and he responded, saying, he indeed heard it, and said he was extremely embarrassed and did not know what to say to me. I asked him if this manager treated most of his customers in this manner, and he said that he had never anyone ever speak to a customer in that way. If this was the beginning of this job, I could only imagine how it would end, and I was not wrong. The manager called me back, and began to apologize, but then had the audacity to tell me that he never said the words "shut up." The rep who no longer worked for the company also called me and admitted that he had made a mistake and apologized to me. I finally asked to speak to the owner of the company. To make matters worse, which at this stage, was hard to fathom, the owner, after hearing what happened, in essence, stated that he would not honor the quote and was scarcely interested in the actions of his manager and former employee. This is not a company that deserves our business and there is no plausible explanation for treating customers in this way. I cannot, and will not recommend a company that has no ethical backbone and gets away with such abusive behavior. The fact that the owner was utterly unfazed by the sequence of events and the offensive and disrespectful actions of his employees speaks volumes and reflects exactly what type of company they seem to be and how they conduct themselves and do business in the Tampa Bay area.

Replaced 38 feet of 6 inch seamless gutters in rear of house. Replaced 56 feet of 6 inch seamless gutters in front of house. Added 23 feet of new 6 inch seamless gutters gutters on side of house. Installed 3x4 inch downspouts on all gutters. Old gutters were removed and taken away. Three workmen were on time and went right to work. Installation had no problems and it looks great. Proper pitch and positioning of new gutters below old drip cap should be a good improvement. Cleaned areas after installation to remove any debris or nails. Am very pleased with the job. Would recommend unconditionally. Friendly and helpful office staff.

The crew did a great job. They were on time, cleaned up, worked pretty much the entire day with a brief break for lunch, and the new gutters and leaders look great. It hasn't rained much yet to see how this will improve our water drainage, but my guess is the new gutters/leaders be very helpful. Color-wise, this company offered a lot of choices. The two things that could be improved upon are: 1) Call the customer the previous day to confirm the appointment. I should have not have had to call them to confirm. This is easy to incorporate for improved customer service. 2) Our job was initially priced for 6" gutters when we really needed 7" gutters. The sales person apparently didn't realize that so a crew came out a month ago to install 6" gutters, which did not work. Then we had to wait 3 weeks for the crew who could install 7" gutters to come out. Plus the price went up $700, which seemed excessive. We were not happy about that but by that time we just wanted to get it done.

The team arrived to my home for the project. It took about 10 mins for it to go south. The team didn't examine on how the gutters were secured. One of their team members took a crowbar to remove the gutter from the fascia. With this approach, he broke a 1.5 ft piece of the corner fascia. They stopped the project and stated that it was wood rot and cannot continue until wood rot is fixed. Well, I'm not a handy person at all; therefore, I outsourced work projects to professionals. I called two different companies that specialize in wood rot repair and both came to the same conclusion. The fascia board did not have any rot and the problem was the lack of inspection of the gutter. They should have seen the nails that were holding up the gutter and used a hammer to remove each nail. $200 was the cost to remove the gutters and fix the fascia board to my home. The fascia repair was completed on 11-18-17 by a different contractor. Last week, Stan N (sales person) came to my house and stated the team that caused the damage was new and inexperience. He examined the fascia board and stated that wood rot was not present at all. The only thing that he could do is remove $48 from my $495 quote. The discount is for the labor cost to remove the gutter. He couldn't give me more because it wasn't his call and this project would be in the red with a complete $200 discount. As I mentioned to Stan, I'm not trying to make a profit with Designer Gutter at all. I just wanted new gutters in my home. What is right is right. Their company made a mistake and should take complete responsibility for it. If this was complete wood rot, we wouldn't even have this discussion at all. I tried in two separate occasions to reach out to Tom with zero call backs. The extremely polite admin stated that he doesn't come to the office that often. If it was my company, I would be on the horn to answer any issue.

Please stay away from this company.....they aren't worth your money & time! I call this company for a complete gutter home installation. They came out but couldn't finish a small 4 feet section of the house because the wood was rotten. Even thought they weren't able to finish the job I paid them in full because it wasn't their fault. I replaced the wood two days later. When I call back for them to come back to finish the job...they said I had to wait 5 weeks because they had other jobs to do at the time ...I said ok. Five days before the day they were suppose to come out they cancel me because they had a emergency and had to take care of another customer. I said ok. They call a week later to tell me I had to wait another 5 weeks because they were out of supplies. I got upset and told them that was unacceptable. I ask to speak to the owner and the brother of the owner told me he is never around. Pretty much I had to deal with him. During my phone conversation I got upset and raise my voice. Well this guy, the brother of the owner started cursing and swearing at me. I told him That since they couldnt come out to finish a four foot section I would like the money refunded for the piece missing for me to hire another comoany for them to finish the job. He said he would only give me $65.00 dollars back and they they would come when they would come out. Finally They came out three days later to finish the job. My point here is don't scream and swear to the people in this case the us the "customer" who puts food on your table. Thanks to the way you handled it the situation you will never see again a penny from me,family and friends and guess what? My brother wants gutters now....I guess we be call g someone else!

They did a good job. No problems at all. They are a little bit higher then some people. They were excellent. They were out when they said they would be. They took care of the job and got it all done in a prompt manner.

The team of two young men came by this afternoon and finished the entire house within six hours. Upon completion, they thoroughly picked up all old material off the lawn plus they used their gas blower to clean our driveway.

Most gutter material is generally maintenance free. The gutters they put on my house show HEAVY staining, rapidly, and are near impossible to clean in 3 years. It (seems) that they use a very porous material that causes the accumulation of dirt and stains. Forget about pressure washing them, won't work a bit. Short of climbing a ladder on a 2 story structure and hand wiping with bleach or chemical repeatedly, you'll be stuck with it bad stains. I called them to come out and check it to see if this was a warranty issue/failure and they decline to even inspect it (WOW). They gave me the number to the metal manufacture to pass the buck. If this is the performance you want on your nice house, then great. If I had it to do again, knowing what I know now, they would not have done my house. What ever coating they are using on their gutters, is not holding up and is not possible to reasonably maintain. I have owned, and still own, many houses with white gutters. I have never seen material performance this poor, and for them not to coming out to at least inspect it says it all. Pay attention to the surface coatings with you new gutter company. It's really is important... For clarity, below is their statement, in their Q&A area on their website regarding maintenance: ________________________________________________________________________ 4. Once I have my gutter and downspouts installed, are they basically maintenance free? I would say for the most part, yes they are, except, raingutter should be checked for blockages from fallen debris, sealants should be checked for leaks, we recommend that your gutter system should be checked out at a minimum of once a year for proper function. The leafguard and maintenance programs or a scheduled once a year clean out with our company would certainly remedy this problem.

He helped me determine what exactly I needed to resolve a problematic situation and didn't oversell me. Installation was scheduled to be done within days. He was always responsive to phone messages and emails. Installers showed up when they were scheduled. They were professional, knowledgeable and worked very efficiently. Received a call back same day wanting to confirm an appt. We accepted and were then told it was basically a 6 hour window for them to come by for an estimate. Needless to say we we're not home when they did arrive but we did find a business card wedged in our front door saying "thank you, but I'll pass" LOL No phone call, no explanation just a business card stuck in our door saying "I'll pass" Can't say its a business we'd refer, use on our flips or place of business. Thanks guys, but we'll pass too!

Very professional and great team during all stages: booking an appointment, pricing, installation, billing... everything went perfect. Their quote was fair ( not the cheapest ) They were the best in terms of communication and knowledge, that's why we hired them. I would definitely hire them again for any gutter job.

It was great. They came when they said they would be here. They did a great job. It is unusual in Florida to find good service people. They were on time, prompt and courteous and the price was very fair. I would use them again and recommend their service.
