Description of Work: We started using Air Doctor Tampa location - because of our American Home Shield Warranty a few years ago - our AC failed on Thursday last week - we called them that evening - they said quickest was on Saturday that they could get someone there - ( we thought fair enough as hurricane was 100 miles away/past from us but affecting our area with wind and rain) they said they would be there between 8-12:00 - I had my 80 year old mother sit in the house waiting for them for over 4 hours and no show no call - NOTHING - I called them yesterday (LABOR DAY) they sent an emergency tech he came with in the 3 hour window - he did nothing and was no help said he would have the office call us today - no call - We got another company to come within 1 hour on Labor Day another $100.00 and problem was found immediately! This company has lost our business and our three other properties! I realize there are 2 Air Doctors and this is the one that works out of Tampa! So disappointed in them and American Home Shield!

Description of Work: COMPANY INSTALLED AN A/C SYSTEM IN HOME AND WILL NOT STAND BEHIND FAULTY UNIT AND FAULTY INSTALL!! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!

Description of Work: They replace the module that controlled the blower inside. It was still under warranty. They charged $420 for approx. 3 hours of work. They did not resealed the unit after they were done. I thought the price was extremely high considering that the part was under warranty, but had to have it fixed.

Description of Work: Thoroughly inspected, cleaned and serviced central air system. Found cause of air conditioner related knocking noise in attic (sounded like a great big hamster on a creaky wheel). Recharged freon.

Description of Work: AN A/C UNIT WHICH WAS JUST UNDER 1 YR OLD, WAS NOT COOLING EFFECTIVELY. THEY CAME OUT AND TESTED THE SYSTEM AND FIXED THE PROBLEM.

Description of Work: I WAS PREVIOUSLY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK, BUT THIS YEAR, THEY WERE UNRESPONSIVE TO REPEATED SCHEDULING CALLS AND THEN CANCELLED AT THE LAST MINUTE. THIS COMPANY PRIORITIZES URGENT CALLS OVER ROUTINE PREVENTIVE AC MAINTENANCE AND I COULD NOT GET THEM OUT TO MY HOME, EVEN THOUGH I HAD ARRANGED MY SCHEDULE WITH THEM.

Description of Work: INSTALLED 4 NEW UNITS IN OUR 1925 HOME. THERE WAS NO PREVIOUS CENTRAL HEAT OR AIR. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY HAVE EFFICIENT REPAIR SERVICE. THEY JUST DON'T DO DUCT WORK ANYMORE.

Description of Work: CHECKED MY SYSTEM AND INSTALLED A THERMOSTAT. WORK (OTHER THAN $45 CO-PAY) WAS COVERED BY MY HOME WARRANTY.

Description of Work: They came and fixed the compresser. They usually didnt come here but they are so trustworthy and honest.
