Dish Network drilled holes into our roof and we wanted to make sure that it was fixed properly since the roof we had was a specific kind. I called Acoma and spoke to Steve and he was the nicesest and most helpful guy! They did a great job and did it right!

Out of the quotes I received they were by far the highest. However, they were the only ones who showed up when they said they would, provided a quote when they said they would and were very responsive to getting the work done. I needed my fascia board changed as well. After meeting with sales reps from other companies I had no confidence that the other guys could handle it and didn't want to deal with a leaking roof for years. The work was done as agreed, it looks good and they cleaned up well when done. There was one additional charge for some flashing that needed to be redone. I wasn't happy about it at first but after looking at the situation it didn't appear to be something they could have known about until they had the old roof off and I'm glad they got it put together properly. Even though I feel I could have gotten a lower price somewhere else they did good work and I am glad I used them.

They did a great job and it still looks great. They were very professional and quick. Once they started the job, it only took a couple of days.

Received estimate on a small repair. Felt that it was much too high. Went with another company on Angies List that was a little more than half the price.

They did an excellent job and they did it very quickly and efficiently. It all looks great.

The installers came a little early and began the repair. They completed the repair by about 2:30 PM. They cleaned up all the mess, except a couple of roofing nails and a small piece or two of the old roofing, which was probably under their truck. Only time will tell if the repair was successful, as we haven't had a hard rain yet.

There is more than one guideline used to determine the worth of a company. First, of course, there are the core beliefs of a company; (i.e.do they return calls, do they keep appointments and do they show up to do the work that they promised.) However, there is still a more important factor in determining whether or not a company deserves a great reputation (instead of one that just gets them`by'). That factor has more to do with `Murphy's law' than local law - and it dictates that everything will go right - unless something goes wrong - and something ALWAYS goes wrong. So then, what if something goes wrong? A company that is just `getting by' will make excuses, then either hope that the homeowner will forget about the problem, or prey that the problem will go away on its' own. However, a Great company will address the problem the minute it occurs without offering excuses - and thereafter SOLVE the problem in a timely manner, regardless of how much more inconvenient, or costly it may be to that company. In our case, once the roof had been cleared of debris and the peel-n-stick tar paper had been applied - there still remained one small hole alongside one of the bathroom vents (which no one had noticed). Naturally, the following day it rained and the roof leaked in that bathroom through a light fixture. That was on Easter Sunday - so, first thing Monday morning, we called Acoma's office and spoke with Jill, who listened with genuine concern - and within 2 hours Brian showed up and took out his ladder and fixed the small hole, thereby stopping any future leaks and solving the problem. And since Brian had been so prompt and eager to make things right, we didn't mind touching-up our bathroom ceiling ourselves, in an effort to minimize what was obviously a `murphy's law' problem. In the meantime, once Brian had fixed the leak, he addressed some other small water-damaged wood that needed to be replaced, as well as assuring us that our roof vents would be covered by `squirrel cages', so that no small animals or birds could become trapped. During the project, we always felt that Acoma Roofing really wanted our business. They called in advance to make appointments - then they showed up on time for those appointments - whether it was to give us a bid or explain products and services. Once we had decided to go with Acoma, their office person, Jill, took over where their salesman Duanne had left off. The work was scheduled ahead of our time table, and Brian showed-up with a crew of 8 installers to tear off our tile roof. Three truck-loads of debris and 5 hours later, our roof was dried-in and our yard was free of debris. Thereafter, once Brian had returned to address our `Murphy's law' problems, Marvin delivered our shingles the following day, and Kenny introduced himself and told us that our shingles would be installed that day, and that Phil would manage the crew that actually installed the shingles. Once the shingles were installed, we asked Steve if they could extend the ridge-vent shingles to the far edges of the roof, thereby creating a more `uniform' look and giving a more `finished' appearance. After letting us know that there would be an extra charge for that change, as well as an extra charge for replacing a piece of the soffit and a small piece of facia, John and Tony showed up two times - first to extend the shingles and the second time to fix the wood soffit and facia. All work was done well and in a timely manner. In other ways, Acoma Roofing moved towards, rather than away, from any possible trouble areas, in an effort to face any problems head-on and prevent future problems. Acoma Roofing is a company that we HAVE ALREADY recommended to friends, and without exception, their high reputation remains intact. Morover, we have been constantly impressed by the attitude, respectfulness and professionalism of every single person involved - not just those mentioned, but every single installer that show up, worked hard and cleaned up. As a former business-owner and management consultant, I would not hesitate to hire any of Acoma's personnel and in the future we will continue to recommend their services to our friends. Some years ago, I had the opportunity to have a conversation with Don Soderquist (formerly of Walmart-managemernt fame), who explained the benefits of an `inverted pyramid' philosophy of management, whereby even the owners and managers of the company became directly responsible to the consumers that supported their business. Although this type of management protocol is almost unheard of (mostly due to the fact that most upper management and owners of businesses feel that once they have been promoted into those higher arenas, they are no longer responsible or accountable to the consumer on a direct or personal level), I found this philosophy to be alive and well at Acoma Roofing. Since their reputation is growing in leaps and bounds, following a philosophy which was responsible for growing WalMart is clearly doing the same thing with Acoma and we congratulate Acoma for this type of forward thinking. In summary, we are extremely safisfied with Acoma Roofing - and we will be recommending their services to friends, as well as calling them again should we need roofing services. There were very good. They were very prompt. They came and looked in the attic and took pictures of it. They determined the problem was with the chimney. He gave me the name of a handyman to put up a tarp over my chimney to cover it up. They will get back to me. This was just preliminary work.

The Acoma employees arrived a little early, were very courteous, and after finding the added damage, still completed the repair in one day. They called in the added damage, and I received a new estimate in short order. I did receive the 10% Angies List discount. They did a good job of matching the original shingles, though it is still obvious where the repair was made.

This was a very good experiance. The staff was friendly and true to their schedule. I very much appreciated the care to avoid damage (trucks were in good shape, no oil drips on driveway) and thier response to any minor damage that was done - they fixed it. My money remained in my pocket until there was complete satisfaction. My one critique is the communication as the job progressed. We sometimes wonderred what was happening. The job did drag on for some time, was completed in August with minor repairs to gutters. This is a good group to work with. They were careful to cover the important issues.

At a time when it was hard for roofers to keep to schedule due to frequent thunderstorms, they were able to give me an estimate on short notice....unfortunately they could not schedule repair in less than two weeks, for obvious reason that storms were pushing everyone's schedules back. I was planning to leave for an extended (3 mo) vacation up north and did not want to delay our departure, they agreed to do the work while I was away and bill me when it was complete....they kept me posted regarding weather delays and billed when the work was complete. I did have a friend in St Pete who checked on the house from time to time, I also ended up having occasion to come back to St Pete for a day at the end of August and saw that the work had been done and looked good. I did not rate the price because I was in a hurry and only got one estimate, I expect there are probably some roofers out there that would be cheaper but I was mainly concerned with just getting the job done right ASAP...they explained their cost by time and materials and also offered a flat rate, I accepted the flat rate. Being able to pay via credit card was also a big plus for me.

They were helpful, straightforward and had very competitive pricing. Would DEFINATELY use them again for future needs.

It was great. They didn?t fix it the first time they came but they stood behind it and they came back out. They have good pricing, they are very nice, and I am happy with their work. They came right away and they were the quickest ones we could find.

He came out and was kind of evasive on questions I asked him. I asked if he would send me and estimate, because for some reason he did not want to give one that day. He never sent the estimate promised. I called back and was never able to talk to the estimator or the owner. I chose not to get involved with this company.

They were very professional and quick. We were extremely happy with the service, I highly recommend Acoma roofing. They have been in business in our area since 1952 and are a very reputable company.

Cal gave us an estimate on a new tile roof. He was professional and willing to explain in great detail the work that needed to be performed. His estimate was the highest one we received (based on the work that needed to be performed) so we decided to go with another company.

They were prompt (on time and calling) very nice, cleaned up work, took pictures before and after and so far no leak. I would recommend them to everyone.

The company looked over my whole roof. They had scheduled me 3 weeks out, but since it was raining I asked if they could move me up and they did. The people that they sent were very courteous and professional.

ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES I DEALT WITH WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THE WORK WAS DONE ON A TIMELY BASIS, AND IN AN OUTSTANDING MANNER. I HAVE LIVED IN MY CURRENT HOME SINCE 1984, AND DURING THE ENTIRE TIME THE OLD FAN MADE A HORRIBLE RACKET WHENEVER IT WAS TURNED ON. THE NEW FAN, BECAUSE OF IT'S QUALITY AND THE WAY IT WAS INSTALLED, IS EXTREMELY QUIET. IN FACT, IT IS SO QUIET I THOUGHT IT WAS NOT RUNNING, AND EVEN CALLED MY ELECTRICIAN BACK TO LOWER THE THERMOSTAT.
