We were very impressed with their work right from the beginning. They had to work mostly with my wife since I could not come home from work most of the time. At the initial consult, they took the time to give a very accurate estimate, go over the many options they have for roofing styles along with the pros/cons of each, and then offer recommendations for things we were uncertain on. We had one other company give us an estimate that was a little higher than Acoma's so we chose to go with them, as well as because of their friendly and knowledgeable workers. They worked quickly and did a great job cleaning up the mess. At the end of the job, the roof looked great. While some companies may try to sell you on other things as they go along that are not needed, that was not the case here. They actually took my wife up onto the ladder and showed her where a few things should also be replaced instead of just either doing it without checking with us or assuming we'd just say yes to anything they recommended. It was very nice to see what they were talking about when there was an additional problem they thought should be fixed. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to our neighbors who will need a new roof within the next couple years. I'm writing this review 1 year later because I realized I never did it. That being said, our roof still looks great and with the textured shingles they use, has a much more upscale appearance than the flat shingles my neighbor had put on by a different company (and he paid the same amount as I did!).

I had two other estimates. One was extremely low, but failed to address the actual source of the problem. The other company accurately addressed the issue, arriving at exactly the same conclusion as Acoma. They had a lower starting estimate but left the final price for parts, such as all the wood, flashing, etc. unaccounted for such that there was no clear esimate for the upper limit. Acoma came in with a higher starting bid, but also listed both a low and a high estimate. Finally, they provided a 2 year warranty while the other roofer provided only a one year warranty and that was the clincher for me. Both Acoma and the other roofer have exceptionally good reviews, so the final decision was difficult, but the 2 year warranty was significant for me. I would add that the final bill was a couple hundred dollars higher than the original high estimate, but Acoma adjusted the bill to fit within their original estimate. The men arrived exactly on time, were extremely congenial, provided me photos of all the areas of damage, walked me through to see what needed to be done and completely cleaned everything up when they left. There was no evidence that any type of work had been done when they left because they did such a good job. Nobody likes the unexpected need to have a roof repair, but I would heartily recommend Acoma. when it is time for a more complete replacement of the roof, Acoma will be on my short list.

They were extremely professional, showed up on time and with the correct materials and a full crew of experienced men. When they started to remove my old roof it was found that much of my sheathing was rotten from water damage. They showed me the problem and were able to re-sheath a lot of my roof and get it shingled again in less than two days. They also provided me with a wind mitigation report that has saved me a lot of money on my house insurance. I would hire them again in a minute. They did a very professional job, I love my new roof. They left NO mess behind, even raked around my house to make sure they hadn't accidently left any nails.

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with every detail of the operation...from the tear out to the replacing of our roof. Each group of men were polite and respectful. They worked diligently, they made sure our property was covered with tarps to catch the debris. Once the job was done, they went around our home 3x to make sure that all the spent nails were picked up. I would highly recommend this company, whether it be a big or small job, these guys deserve "Kudos" for all their professionalism and experience. Thank you Acoma for a job well done!

I saw them on the little book Angie's List sends out every month. People who would use them would expect promptness, they clean up their mess very well, and they are very friendly.

They are wonderful. They went above and beyond. They are helping with the pool enclosure roof when they don't have to. They put up tarps all around the house. They are neat-their equipment and trucks were very clean. They professional. They are what a great roofing company should be. Sam, the owner, has been more than great. I would recommend them to everyone. If there were pluses I would give them an A+.

Exceptional! From my initial contact with Acoma Roofing to job completion. This was my first experience with re-roofing and needless to say I had some anxiety regarding the whole project. I did my research and interviewed 5 companies. My decision to use Acoma came down to experience, knowledge and professionalism. I happened to have a little luck because the weather was very cooperative. My job was started and completed as promised. No detail was overlooked. We had quotes from three roofers with A ratings on Angie's list. The prices were very close but Acoma's quote was the easiest to read with the warranty spelled out. The salesperson explained everything and made us feel very comfortable. New roof was installed as he said and there was no debris or garbage to clean up. As all the houses in our neighborhood were built at approximately the same time many people will need new roofs soon. We recommend Acoma as one of the best company's we have ever used.

First, I will say that Acoma did quality work on my roof. The problem I had, even though I did my research on the company It didn't occur to me that I should do research/background check on the employees of the company. The representative that Acoma sent to me when I called for an estimate caused me a lot of problems and stress. He was a new employee but was also a convicted felon. Convicted of fraud, grand theft, domestic violence, prescription drug abuse, etc. When I realized that this representative was using me to commit insurance fraud through my own insurance company and hoping to put some extra money in his pocket from an insurance settlement, was when he came to my house drunk or on drugs. I made him leave my house and looked him up on the computer and found his record. I called Acoma the next morning to complain and was told that he was being fired that day (not because of my phone, they already decided to fire him before I called). Acoma never apologized for sending this person to my home. My advice to anyone that is looking for a company to do work on your home, do background checks on everyone.

First Off...Acoma Roofing provided an overall OUTSTANDING service. This is our first roof replacement. In such, we were starting from scratch on finding a roofing company. Using Angie's List, we solicited five competitive quotes for a complete roof replacement. In the final end game, we eliminated three roofers for various reasons, which left Acoma Roofing and one other local competitive roofer in the running. Both the finalists were very aggressive in tweaking their quotes to provide a true apples-to-apples comparison. Both companies negotiated against each other's quotes. The final decision to choose Acoma Roofing came down to a referral from a trusted local carpenter/contractor. From top to bottom, our decision to go with Acoma Roofing paid off. Acoma Roofing is a 50+ year, family owned business. Dealing with the Squitiro Family is first class. The on-site crew was prompt, neat and friendly. The on-site supervisors, Kai for tear off and Kenny for installation, kept us informed on the progress and recommendation daily. The final county inspection went off without a hitch. The follow-up contractor/inspector, provided by Acoma Roofing, arrived promptly after job completion and provided detailed information to our homeowner insurance provider, which provided an immediate $1000 annual discount to our homeowner's policy. Due to Acoma Roofing's Master Elite installer status with GAF, the 25-year material and labor warranty documentation arrived within 10 days of job completion. Without a question, Acoma Roofing has won our trust and confidence for future work on our personal property along with our rental properties and referrals to other friends and family.

This company was there when scheduled except when we had some weather delays that were unavoidable. Their crew was very professional and each day when they left made sure that the area around our home was completely cleaned up. We were very happy with the job they did.

Acoma's team was on site as promised. The tear down was very quick and orderly. They surrounded my property with tarps to catch debris and protected my air conditioning unit and adjacent properties. The team worked quickly to clear the roof down to the wood and prepped the platform for the next day's shingle installation. By the end of the day, the property was cleared of any debris. We could not find any evidence of their work except for the visible condition of the roof. All debris, nails, etc. were picked up and cleared from the property. Shingle installation was very quick. The team came the next morning with their full compliment of roofing and ground crew. They had the shingles and ridge vents installed in a few hours, and the roof looked really amazing. The entire job was completed quickly and professionally. The workers were all very kind and helpful. Acoma exceeded my expectations, and I was very glad to have them complete the work. If you're in the market for a re-roof, consider Acoma. They aren't your bargain basement installer, but you truly get what you pay for; and you really can't beat the warranty. Acoma came out and fixed the roof for free even though it was not under warranty any more.

They were definitely not the cheapest, but they actually charged us less than the estimate.

I got an estimate from them which was 4 times what I ended up paying. The first thing they said was, this is going to be expensive...and if I had used them, it would be. I didn't like the attitude

Excellent service, professional, I would use this company again. They did quality work. They were here on-time, completed the project on-time. Every person we spoke to was very professional and the salesperson Duane was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful. While they were not the lowest bid, I would highly reccomend Acoma Roofing. The quality and professionalism was worth the extra cost.

They did an excellent job! They worked with the tile company and began working as soon as the tiles were delivered. They pulled off the exhisting roof, re-nailed decking to code, installed MTS self-adhering base, new ridge vent, new eve drips, replace all vents, flashed the chimney, and used spray adhesive to install the tiles. They hauled away all debris. Very professional!

Tropical Storm Debbie left us with a roof leak that had stained the ceiling. We called Acoma and made an appointment for an estimate.Within a few days, their employee checked out the roof and made the recommendation that the vent be replaced. The estimate given was fair and we scheduled the job to be done as soon as possible. Approximately two weeks later, the work was done. Should the need arise again, we would definitely call Acoma.
