Mr. Yeager came out to do an estimate on installing new carpet upstairs in our townhome and refinishing the wood floors downstairs. Once he got there, we learned that the wood floors were so thin that they were unable to be sanded down. Mr. Yeager gave us a few different options and never tried to sell us anything. In the end, he suggested that a rug to cover the rough spots was all we needed to fix it and if we wanted to replace a few of the boards, he'd be more than happy to help. The ONLY reason we did not go with him was the price of the estimate on our carpet. Someone else gave us a price that was significantly lower but we would have preferred to work with Mr. Yeager. We're still deciding if we need the few boards replaced and if we do, Mr. Yeager will be the first person we call.

It was a real positive experience. He came out quickly with samples and gave me a good quote. They installed it the next day. It went really smooth. The price was fine but I didn’t do any comparison. I would use them again.

Overall I was very pleased with the work. Mike came to the house with sample tiles and took all the measurements. I had talked to him beforehand so he had an idea of what floor tile I had in mind and the samples he brought were in line with what we talked about. He was on time and personable. After deciding on the tile, he provided a quote for the floor tile, removal and installation within the discussed timeline, however there was no quote for the bathroom and window work. He said he would provide that at a later date. My only suggestion for the flooring quote I received is breaking the quote into the individual components. My quote consolidated the tile price with the removal and installation for one cost. For the size of the job the price seemed reasonable and I signed a contract. The work was scheduled to start one week later and took six days to complete. I highly recommend paying the extra for the plastic walls to help control the dust. The contract also pointed out things to do to prepare for the work, for instance, if you have pets, be prepared to make alternate arrangements. Tile removal has to be one of the noiseist and messiest renovation jobs and no place for your pets. I boarded my cats and it was worth the expense. The workers who came were on time and did a good job. There were some complications in removing the tile and preparing the floor for the new tile that caused some delay. The owner came out to see how the job was progressing which I was impressed by. The delay added one day to the job from 5 to 6 days requiring Michael to come on Saturday to complete the work. He worked all day with no complaint and finished by cleaning up and mopping the new floors. The only thing I was disappointed about was no call back for the bathroom and window work as I was happy with the floor work and thought I could get the other work done with good quality in a timely manner. I left a message but received no return call so will look for another company to finish that work. Update: After reading the above review, Jim Yeager called me and immediately came out and estimated the work to replace the shower in my bathroom and to replace several windows. Based on previous experience, I signed a contract and the work that was done was very good. I had Gorell hurricane rated windows installed to match windows I had had installed a year earlier by a different company. The window installer, Bobby, is a hard worker and wasted little time installing the 9 windows over two days. The inspector who came out for Hillsborough County stated all looked good and it was obvious the installer had plenty of experience. The shower in the bathroom turned out nice and was done within 3 or 4 days. While the name of the company emphasizes flooring, based on my experience, Jim and his team can handle many different renovations. I highly recommend them.

I e-mailed Yeager for an appt. on a Friday evening. Corey called me the next morning (on a Saturday) and offered to come to my house that day. I met him at the house, he asked several detailed questions to determine the appropriate samples to bring. Within 3 hours, I had bought hardwood floors for my office and master bedroom, along with new baseboards and crown molding. I already had these installed in the office and wanted them to match. They ordered matching trim and painted them as well. They moved all of the furniture and put it all back exactly. The workers (sales, delivery, installation, administrative) were all extremely clean, professional, prompt, and courteous. They arrived by 8am daily. If they arrived earlier, they would wait in the driveway so the kids could get dressed before school. Corey was at the house almost everyday they were installing, checking on the job. One of the baseboards did not match and he had it corrected immediately. We were SO happy with the workmanship and quality of products that we had them expand the project into the children's bedrooms and install crown molding in all 3 bathrooms. They were able to complete the project exp[ansion that same week (spur of the moment a week before Christmas!). Our next project is to replace the tile throughout the house with the hardwood. I have been looking for a company, product, and pricing materials for over a year. I found Yeager on Angie's List and readall the reviews. What people had written was accurate and fit my overall experience. I would not hesitate to recommemnd them to anyone and I will definitely be using Yeager again for future projects.

No complaints. As stated above, I think the concrete could have been floated for leveling prior to install, but the end results speaks for itself and I am no expert. Corey was VERY responsive, so I can't complain about any of the standard corrections that were required.

From the first steps into their showroom, through the installation process, Yeager exceeded my expectations. They were extremely timely and prompt in obtaining a quote for services, the installation process was the cleanest and neatest i have ever experienced. They laid carpet in a stairway, upstairs and two downstairs bedrooms over two different dates. I wasn't able to be home the second time, but they left everything as clean as they found it. Installation was perfect. I am planning on several rooms of wood and tile later this year and will entrust the job to Yeager. I wouldn't consider anyone else.

Jim Yeager was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire construction process. Each member of his crew took great pride in their workmanship. The first few days involved a machine that was very noisy--Jim was concerned that our dog would be frightened and brought her to his home daily where she had "play dates" with his dogs and his wife while I was at work! Throughout the entire process, the workers tried to keep the disruption to our household to a minimum--not an easy feat when nearly every floor is being ripped up and replaced! Each day the workers cleaned up their supplies and the work areas. We were able to live in the house and maintain a mostly normal routine even though there was a major project going on all around us! The new wood floors are absolutely beautiful. The painter did a great job on the walls and a ceiling. The staircase is in a whole other category... It is beautiful beyond belief. In fact, a neighbor recently stopped by and saw the new staircase. He returned with his wife and now they are planning on calling Jim to see about rebuilding their staircase! I highly recommend Yeager & Co. They are honest, caring, hardworking, and take pride in their workmanship. Yeager & Co is a keeper--I will certainly call them for any future construction or painting needs.

The painting was double what I ended up paying for the job. I chose another company. However, the man that came out was very pleasant. They also sent an interior decorator to assist with selections, which was helpful. They were just out of my price range.

They were very good. They were very professional. They did everything they said they were going to do. They did it when they said they were going to do it. They were there when I had called and had questions. They cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job. Their price was good. I had shopped around. They gave me a better price than their next competitor did. They gave me a better quality material at a cheaper price. I was very pleased with the floors. It was of very good quality. If I need any flooring done in the future, I will use them.

They did an excellent job. They did the work during the busy time of the year too! I have recommended them to the person who bought our house from us too.

My wife and I visited this company where Corey listened well, responded to our questions, understood our pricing concerns, and made helpful suggestions. We wanted this flooring to complement the wooden cabinets in our kitchen and guest bathroom so we showed him a bathroom drawer that we had taken with us. The entire selection process went very well. We were told that the government requires that homes built before 1978 have to be checked for lead. Ours was build in 1976, so Jim Yeger came and did the test which is an extra cost. The flooring was delivered to our home on a specified date and Chris and Steve came on the agreed on installation date. They performed the installation work and cleanup in a quality manner and very efficiently..

The installers did a wonderful job of removing carpeting and padding, and installing the hardwood. They were on time and very professional. No complaints at all.

They were very professional. The work was done on time. They did everything that they promised. They came and measured. The guy was very patient. He brought a few rugs to show us besides the fact that we had been to their showroom twice. I highly recommend them. They charged us about $1600 for the bedroom rug. Overall, they were great. Their price was very competitive. They were honest and very pleasant to deal with. They were really nice and informative. Their price was reasonable. I looked at other places and I think it was accurate. The quality of their work was excellent. The guys who came were pleasant. They were really good and they cleaned up after themselves. They were really amazing. It was a very nice experience. They put the rug under our built-in closets and that’s a really tough job. They did an incredible job and my husband was watching them.

Our kitchen had a cruddy tile floor that was a slippery dirt magnet. We paid a different contractor $600 to do the demolition work -- that is, to remove not only the tile but several layers of flooring, adhesive, and sealer beneath it. What was left was the original pine floorboards. We sought two bids for the refinishing work, and Jim Yeager not only made the lowest bid but inspired the most confidence. His re finisher, Jordan, did an outstanding job, working many more hours than he was paid for. Here's an example of how much care he took: when we decided that roughly half a dozen water-soaked boards needed to be replaced, Jordan painstakingly selected replacement boards that would closely match the color, grain, and knotting of the neighboring ones. As a result, today you can't tell which boards are new and which ones are 70 years old. I would not hesitate to recommend Yeager Flooring or hire them again.

It was Mr. Yeager that initially responded to my request for a quote. Additionally Jim Yeager presented my floor covering options (carpet versus wood). I choose distressed mahogany wood flooring. The floor was installed professionally, and in a timely manner. The white carpet that was taken out from the bed room was promised to a friend. To my chagrin, the installers mistakenly disposed of it. I expressed my disappointment to Jim Yeager regarding the loss of the carpet. He apologized for the misunderstanding. However, more importantly, he promised to deliver a comparable remnant from his warehouse, so my friend would not be disappointed. You could imagine my friend’s expression when Jim delivered not one but two beautiful remnants. In addition the carpets, Jim had his decorator look at my color scheme and recommend an appropriate color to paint my walls.

From start to finish, our kitchen remodel was a success. Our General Contractor, Jim Yeager, made sure everything was done proper and in order. Every person involved in this project, from the office staff to the flooring technicians to each subcontractor, made us feel like we were their only customer. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend Yeager and Company to anyone, nor would we hesitate to use them again.

Although Yeager & Company did not provide the service I was interested in... they recommended Tom Levatino who might be able to assist me. I was very pleased with Yeager. It was so nice of them to recommend someone else instead of just being polite and informing me they would not be able to do my project. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
