+ -1 moreI have used The Pampering Plumber in the past. Eddie did outstanding work! I wouldn't hesitate recommending the company. Eddie was prompt. In fact, he called to let me know he was 15-20 minutes away. He explained what he did and didn't seem inclined to up-sell any other service.

+ 0 moreI have been using Eddie at Pampering Plumber for several years at my home and have always been extremely satisfied. The most recent project was the design and installation of 2 tankless water heaters. Before making a proposal, Eddie surveyed all of the plumbing lines in our attic and determined how he needed to modify them so that we could change from a 1 tank water heater to 2 tankless water heaters. Based on his design recommendations Eddie clearly explained what to expect in terms of the length of time to receive hot water in our many bathrooms, kitchen, etc. when the tankless system is operational. It has been almost 2 months since the tankless water heaters were installed and we are thrilled with its performance. We just received our electric bill and it dropped about $300 in one month versus having a large tank heater. Amazing efficiency!

+ -1 moreOne of my worst experiences with a company in 25 years.
Description of Work: I had water coming into my sons bedroom under the baseboard. The bathroom was on the other side of wall. I am new to the area, just moved to Florida. I picked this company because they are near my office. So, the service technician comes and does his inspection. He did not locate the leak, relays all clear. So, I figure the roof is the only other option. Long story short, after calling a roofing company - not the issue. I spent $350 dollars hiring a water detection company next. They found the leak in 5 minutes. It was the shower. Meanwhile, after the initial all clear from the plumber we began using the shower again. This ended up causing considerable financial damage. Water slowly spread further into my sons room. I have to replace carpet, padding, drywall, a painter, etc.. My issue with this company, is the management team. The service rep was very nice and professional, he did his best. He just made an error for whatever reason and missed the leak. Who knows. All I know is I paid them close to $200 to tell me there was no leak and now I have spent well over $500 and have not even repaired the room yet. Estimates are over $1,000 depending on the damage behind the wall. The most unbelievable thing is when I phoned to complain, they tried to charge me to come back and repair the leak they missed. Any company with good customer service, would have offered to repair at no charge. I had to get a little upset and debate this to avoid paying $90. Can you believe after all that happened they actually gave us a bill for $90 bucks!!. I still cannot believe a company would argue or debate, when they made a mistake and try to charge the customer for a repair. I explained how much money they cost me because of this mistake. If I had let this go, they were just going to refund my initial visit and charge me for all repairs. i will never use them again and make sure I relay to all my neighbours, my company (over 100 employees) and any vendor who lives in the general radius about what happened.

Keith helped replace two toilets, put in a new bathroom vanity and connected new kitchen appliances and sink. I always felt comfortable having him work in my home. He was professional and if I need more help I'd call him again. Everything seems more expensive these days but I felt prices were fair.

+ -1 moreThe price was horrible. I found them on Angie's List, they had an A rating. They charged $128 to replace a gasket and that was with a $40 coupon for Angie's List. I could have replaced it myself. The guy argued with me about upselling a piece that they wanted to put in for another $40. I called the company and the receptionist switched me to the owner and he argued with me about a truck sitting in my driveway with thousands of dollars worth of parts and that's why they needed to charge me $168 for a gasket. I told him I didn't care about his parts. The technician was Keith Cline. When he replaced the valve, he flushed it and it worked. He left, we had already been arguing. The water doesn't come back up to the level that it used to, so the water is down a few inches. I made an appointment to have someone come by to make an adjustment and they didn't come and then they came and left a note on the door another day that they had been there. You can make my entire experience with the F's. I would not use them again.

+ -1 moreThis is rental property, and the tenant had service from this company on 8/18/2016 because commode was not filling. pampering plumber came out and said the stop button on commode had been pulled out (shut off) so that's why it wasn't filling. That may of been the case, but tenant could of accidentally pulled in out, trying to figure out why it was filling so slow. The charge for that call was $59.00 service call, and $66.20 to pull the button out. Also noted on the invoice "ALL NEW PARTS ALREADY IN TANK" Not so sure about that. We lived there prior to this tenant, and if they had been changed, we would of done it. The tenants moved at end of May 2017, and one of the first things we noticed was that same commode was filling with water, but it took about 3 minutes to fill the tank. So it wan't fixed, & here we are not even a year later and same problem. I called to schedule an appt, & pay automatic set service call because it's a weekend, arrive at house, lockbox had been removed, so we didn't have a key to get in. Service tech, said, oh well that will be $59 for service call, although I was already on phone call for emergency locksmith. Locksmith there within the 1/2 hour. Plumber - no offer to wait to see how quick we could get someone out there. Eric, or whoever tech was didn't know how long job was going to take. We needed repair on 2 toilets, & he had no idea how long it was going to take for the job, so he could of waited to see how quick we got someone out there, but told us we could reschedule. & what give them another $59 bucks. They need to think a little bit out of the box, ie; put a little bit more time in evaluating problems & helping resolve. They lost about $500 because he wasn't willing to see how quick I could get locksmith out there. They are off my list. I would not recommend them, nor will I ever use them again. Find another plumber, that doesn't charge $59 bucks to come out.

She arranged to have a plumber come to my home about three hours after I called - he arrived earlier than her estimated time. The plumber repaired the problem without removing tile or sheet rock in under an hour. We were able to use the shower almost right away. The cost of the repairs was modest - not inexpensive but fair.
Description of Work: The pipe connecting the shower head to pipes in the wall broke inside the wall while I was showering - two days before an extended family vacation. There was some minor flooding in two rooms.

+ -1 moreEddie is a really cool guy, took a lot of pride in his work. He was prompt, clearly explained what needed to be done and was out of here in less than an hour. He also left the place in great shape. I asked him to test the "phantom flush" and he used some dye to make sure there was no leak. He'll be the guy we call for work in the future, no doubt.

+ 1 moreI called to get a quote on replacing a tankless water heater. Mine is still under warranty so the manufacture is shipping me a new one and I just need them swapped out. When I called this company I was told by the person who answered the phone that she was not a plumber and would have to send one to my house. The cost to get a quote would cost me $60. I confirmed with her that I just needed labor for the tank to be exchanged and that to even find out the cost would cost me $60, she confirmed that was correct. I know I'm not buying the unit from them but $60 to tell me how much they would charge to install a unit?! That is just crazy. I wouldn't use them for any services after that.
