The Pampering Plumber

Our 16 year old gas water heater started dripping from the bottom Sunday afternoon. We had used Pampering Plumber in the past and I called them first thing Monday morning to check their availability and to find out if they had one in stock. (We had called the big box stores and delivery was 2 weeks.) They had a unit and we scheduled an appointment for between 2 and 5pm that day. The installer called at 2pm and said he would be at our home by 2:45pm, which he was. The complete installation took approximately 2 hours. The old unit was removed and taken away. He also checked our water softener to make sure it was functioning properly. Straight forward job done properly. We will use Pampering Plumber for any future plumbing needs and would highly recommend their services.

He was very fast and got the bathtub faucet repaired with no problem. The toilet will need to be replaced, and I plan to have him do the work.

Our kitchen garbage disposal stopped working and even sparked under the sink when you tried to use it. We called The pampering plumber late in the day and we got an appointment for the next morning. Very quick response and highly professional. Promptly completed the work and left the space as clean as when he arrived!

Plumber, Bill Larsen arrived on time and even wore protective booties on his shoes to protect our carpets. He ran a series of tests to determine the source of the clog and we learned a lot from him.

We had a leaking water heater over the holiday weekend. We called several companies on Tuesday morning recommended on Angie's List. We chose The Pampering Plumber who were efficient and empathetic and the most responsive on the phone. They had Art call first thing and he said he would be coming between 12 - 3. He came at 2pm ready to assess the situation. He gave us all of our options and never hesitated to answer my many questions. He wasn't aggressive with the sale and re-worked the costs over and over including and excluding items I was interested in. He was patient and professional. Although he was sent to install just a water heater he stayed an extra 4 hours installing the water softener and all house filtration system. He went above and beyond in all aspects of this job and we were delighted with the service, quality, and price. This experience was a definite pleasure and will recommend to everyone. It is a week later and everything has worked just as promised.

valve started leaking. called pampering plumber. came out and replaced valve. was sure would need new hot water heater but plumber said not needed in proffesional opinion. Also gave approximate cost if needed to in future. Told plumber I did not want a patch if he felt needed new hot water heater.

The plumber was prompt and professional. He snaked my kitchen drain several times without success, but he didn't quit. He spoke with the complex maintenance man to get additional information. After multiple attempts, the plumber was able to clear the clog and the party went off without a hitch.

This provider was one of the few that call me back promptly to schedule an appointment. I was unable to use because my spouse was able to make the repair.

Had Pampering Plumber out before and felt they would be the best to do the job. They didn't disappoint. Replaced my seriously broken water heater. Even got the chance to see if we were the 10th water heater replaced to make it free, but we didn't win. Oh well. Everything went smooth.

Very well. Right on time. Performed the work quickly - helped me do the paper work early since I had a conference call scheduled during the time we expected him to finish. Pointed out better coupon for me to use for the service - an extra bonus!

The next day, Art arrived at the appointment time to install the new water softener. He spent approximately 3 hours, removing the old one and installing the new one. Art didn't like the location of the brine discharge hose, so he dug another hole allowing the water to drain down several feet into the water table. Art came into the house to finish the paper work and said that he had to call the office to determine if I was the 10th customer. I really didn't know what he meant until he shouted, `Hey, you won!' Still clueless, Art let me know about Pampering Plumber's marketing program where every tenth water heater or water softener they install is FREE. Bottom line: I had just gotten a $1350 water softener installed free of charge! Check out page A62 of the May 2013 Angie's List periodical and you will see the promotion listed. Pampering Plumber trucks also have a green leprecaun and the words `Feeling Lucky' written on their trucks. I can attest to the fact that they do payoff on their advertising. Pampering Plumber has done a lot of work for me including diagnosing a water leak and rerouting my water main after my oak tree invaded the line. I find them responsive, knowledgeable, customer oriented and competent at solving plumbing problems. And in addition, I got a free water softener!!

AJ arrived on time and assessed what needed to be done. The bathroom had been stripped down to the studs. He installed all copper tubing changing the 1/2 inch feeds to 3/4 inch copper. There was an overhead shower head that needed to be installed and he cleverly went through the attic. We installed a feed for a hand wand and 2 body sprays. When the tile was installed he came back and finished the job the bathroom is spectacular with the water flowing freely. What an enjoyable experience taking a shower. I would recommend the Pampered plumber for any plumbing job required.

I had a different plumber out here 2 times. They thought it was fixed and it wasn’t. Pampering Plumber came out and it fixed; it took them one time to get fixed. I would absolutely recommend them.

It went very good. Everything is fine now and i'm getting good pure water now. I went down from having to use 4 filters to 3 filters for efficiency. I was very happy with the price as well vs the old system I had. I put N/A on the quality due to this just being installed. I would like to wait to see how the quality turns out.

I called Pampering Plumber to explain the situation and they sent someone out within two hours. Eric looked at what had to be done, and immediately wrote an estimate. Once I agreed to the price, he got right to work, explained what he was doing as he did it, and showed me what had to be done to get the job up to code. He was very pleasant, and no nonsense. Because they come out in a stocked truck, he was able to complete the job on the spot.

Work was very professionally done. Faucet was secured, and grouted to the wall in addition to valve replacement. Technician was prompt and courteous. Very pleased !

Date of service is approximate. Very pleasant experience. Came on a Saturday with no extra charge and phoned to let me know he was still on another job and would be coming in an hour. It did not matter that they squeezed me in when I called on a Friday and that it was close to dinner time and he had been working all day. He cared about keeping my home clean from the moment he knocked at the door. As a homeowner who prefers to let experts handle certain things, I am very pleased with The Pampering Plumber and would use again. The total cost of disposal and labor was $266 and the price included an online coupon printed from Angie's List. P.S. Loved the decorative soap left as a calling card! Nice touch.

They were on time, we felt that they knew what they were talking about and they didn't leave a mess.

They did a great job. I would use them again.

The receptionist who answered my call was very professional and described the entire process to me. On the day the plumber arrived, he went through the process that the recetionist decribed, which included an assessment of the clogged drains and he provided an estimated and description of his proposed course of action. He fixed the clogs and everything is fine.

Eric the plumber was on time; He was very informative; Did a good in a reasonable time.

I am very disappointed by The Pampering Plumber. They are not only late for the appointment, they asked multiple trips and $160 per hour for labor and approx. $450 in total to replace a kitchen sink faucet with small leak on pullout spout, I feel that is outrageous price. Would that only takes 15-30 mins for a pro to replace it? I paid $59 for their estimate but I am not happy at all about the estimate and their punctuality.
