The Pampering Plumber

Provider made two calls. Changed valve for dishwasher on first visit and gave estimate to replace toilets. Second visit involved changing out two toilets. Plumber did a great job and was very clean, tidy and professional. First visit was very pricey for small job that took about 10 minutes, but I have no complaints on the second job. I would use them again and have already recommended them to someone else.

This is the second time I've used the Pampering Plumber and they are consistently outstanding. Eddie (the tech) is a great guy and goes the extra mile on all he does. He replaced the water heater and capped two lines that were no longer needed. He also provided expert advice on my other plumbing challenges in the home (even answered my novice questions!). I really appreciate the group and will continue to use them for my plumbing needs.

Eddie came out on Friday night, within an hour of being called. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our old water heater needed to be replaced and he did it quickly. This service was so easy to deal with. We will always call Eddie for all of our plumbing calls from now on. We had a service which gave us a run-around and it was so difficult wondering if we would ever have service. We are canceling that service. Eddie and the Pampering Plumber made it easy for us. They are the best.

We got excellent results. They are not cheap, but they are reasonable. They do an excellent work. The reason I say this is because we keep requesting one guy. We keep getting Eddie. The contractor I was using to remodel the bathroom was really impressed with his work, and we were really impressed with his work and attitude. He is thorough. I would definitely use them again.

We have had a slow dripping faucet in our shower/tub combo for quite a while now and I figured it was about time to get it fixed.. I called The Pampering Plumber and spoke with Claudia and advised her what was going on and requested to have Art come out to look at it if he was available. We have used this company twice before and both times they did a great job. Art was the plumber that came out the last time and I was real impressed with him, so I asked for him this time around. Art came out today and assessed the situation and advised us that it was the cartridge. He replaced this and the tub spout and now all is well. Art is a very friendly guy and knows his stuff. He took care and used shoe covers,so not to get dirt on the carpet and cleaned up the area before he left. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The plumber (I believe his name was Eric) was personable and totally professional. Nice guy. Only slight negative about the situation was the 143.00 charge for basically replacing a washer that I didn't add when I tried to install new faucet. Took him a couple minutes. But I realize that any time you call a service guy out to the house (especially a plumber) it's not gonna be cheap. I would definitely recommend this company though.

Amazing experience and I really appreciate the quick response and professional work. Woke up this morning to a neighbor banging on our front door. He says "there's a ton of water coming out of your garage!". Yep, the water heater gave up the ghost. So, off to Angie's List and find a plumber. Call the Pampering Plumber and they had someone out within 90 minutes. The old water heater was removed and the new one installed in about 2 hours. They gave me a scratcher to win a discount and I got the $100.00 off. Nice touch. Great experience and I'm very thankful for the emergency help. Great job guys. I'll definitely use them again. Tom

I called the company to let them know what happened. The sympathetic sounding receptionist told me that someone would get back to me in a few days. I waited and nobody called. 2 weeks later I filed a report with the BBB. The called me in response to this and said they were sorry and that they would send me a check for a refund. It has been at least 2 weeks and I still have not gotten that refund check. Their excuse for their performance was that my tenant was adamant that the leak was coming from the shower. Give me a break. He didn't even try to look in the kitchen, even though the leak was springing from a wall behind the kitchen.

Fast and efficient service. We used a coupon from Angie's List and they were very accepting and professional.

They had to replace a leaking valve outside because it went shut off. It shut off all the water to the household. I called them and the woman who answered the phone and said hang on a second, she called the driver and asked him to pull over the side of the road to get other information and had him come right out. So he was here like in 20 minutes. I mean it was like more of speed kind of response. We were very impressed with how quickly they were able to come out. Like I said I just gotten out and pump the main breaker at the pump because we didn't have any water to the entire house. There is no shut off valve to this particular line that you can isolate. They drop everything and showed up. I thought the price was a little high but the fact that they came out on a sort of an emergency case to get the whole house operating I guess I would do an A and the fact that they got there in 20 minutes after I called truly impressed me.

Plumber installed cabinet sink and went beyond his job responsibility by actually installing the cabinet doors; which was very much appreciated. Very thorough, ensuring no leaks. The kitchen faucet cartridge was replaced with no incident. I can order another Moen cartridge free of charge and Pampering Plumbers will give me a check for the cartridge after I deliver the cartridge to them. No other plumber I have had would have installed the doors to the cabinet or given me a rebate on the cartridge. Pampering Plumber goes way beyond its normal duties to please the customer.

Called this morning and they were able to send someone out within an hour. AJ gave me a quick estimate, I approved it, and he went right to work. Had all 7 items fixed in just an hour or two, and then walked me through each to show that they were completed. Also gave me a scratch off coupon which saved $50 off the price! Great work, would definitely recommend to others.

This is my first time with this company and I have been impressed every step of the way. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and professional. She was able to give me an appointment for the next morning. Ed arrived right on time, we did a quick run through of my 'laundry list' of things to repair. He made sure he understood what I expected. Ed was efficient and careful in his work, he seemed to be very knowledgeable and skilled. He said he had worked for this company for many, (20 ?), years and his experience was evident. He was working here over 2 1/2 hours. I opted for the yearly maintenance program offered by Pampering Plumber it seems to be a fair and useful plan. I am impressed and happy with this company and wion't hesitate to recomend them to friends and family

This is the fourth time I have used the services of The Pampering Plumber, all with the same very cordial and knowledgeable service technician, Eddie G., who has worked there for 15+ years. Eddie had previously installed two high efficiency Toto toilets and a Delta Touch20 kitchen faucet that I ordered online. The Delta kitchen faucet, installed about a year ago, had been acting up, turning on and off repeatedly independent of the Touch control function, even after battery replacement. I tried following the Delta instructions to remove the batteries and deactivate the Touch control to just use manual function, but after a couple of days the faucet was then making disturbing grinding noises and showing variable low pressure. At that point I contacted Pampering Plumber via email on their website and Eddie called me the very next day (on Saturday). I described the problem and he had encountered it with other Delta Touch2O faucets. I also found similar complaints about the Delta Touch2O faucets from acquaintances and web reviews, so I doubted that there was any issue with Eddie's original installation (which cost over $200). Eddie said he would call Delta technical service for more advice on Monday and get back to me, which he did. I mentioned to him that I had never had my 12 year old gas water heater drained, so he agreed to do that during the same visit. Eddie arrived to my home on time as usual, put on shoe covers, and proceeded to check the faucet to disconnect the solenoid that controls the Touch20 function so that I could just use it in manual mode. But contrary to the Delta service advice, he found that it could not be done because the connectors on either side of the solenoid were different sizes. So instead he tinkered with the kitchen faucet and managed to restore the proper Touch control function. He also called the Delta service line back and requested that they open a case number for me to expedite handling of future problems; e.g., that might require a new solenoid. Eddie then proceeded around the house and garage to perform the other tasks as mentioned above. To my surprise and delight, he only charged me $69 for all the services plus $44.70 for the leak detector. He said that Pampering Plumber charges only $69 for their annual maintenance/inspection plan that includes flushing the hot water heater and checking all faucets, toilets, and drains. What a deal! So Eddie kindly and conscientiously saved me a separate service visit charge for repairing the kitchen faucet by arranging the annual maintenance/inspection at the same time. That clearly demonstrates the excellent customer consideration and appreciation and business integrity of this company. Hence, I enthusiastically recommend Pampering Plumber and Eddie G. in particular! They have definitely earned their 6 consecutive Super Service Awards.

I called the office and spoke with Mary, she was very pleasant and easy to speak with. I told her about the problems we were having, this work was done for a church I belong to. She made arrangements to have someone there within 2 hours. The plumber, Eddie, showed up within 90 minutes of the initial call. That is prompt. Eddie quickly diagnosed the problem and got right to work. He offered to look at the rest of the plumbing, no extra charge. I explained that one of the women's commodes wasn't flushing properly. He checked it and all the other commodes in the building, and decided they could use some augering. He did this, and most of the commodes now function pretty close to properly. He did explain that these were old pipes and commodes, even showing me how they have become unsteady, quite possibly creating a hazard. After he was done doing the work, he wrote a detailed estimate of what it would cost to replace the unsteady commodes. After he left, I noticed a few days later that the water from the fountain wasn't being cooled, so I called Eddie back to see if he could diagnosis the problem there. he was honest, saying he didn't do that kind of work, but was willing to give me several contractors that might. He gave me a list, and after a few calls, I did find someone who can work on water fountains to get them making the water colder. Eddie didn't have to do this, he went over and beyond what was necessary. Eddie was, and I can't emphasize this enough, very pleasant, a gentleman. He even laughed at my jokes. AND, he cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate one minute in calling the Pampering Plumber. Very highly recommended.

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called to have a broken faucet replaced. I highly recommend them.

Very prompt and courteous/friendly. Have used them in the past and was serviced by the same technician (Eddie) as before who I find extremely pleasant. I was also happy they put little botties on their feet before entering the home. I am very pleased with the service but shocked at the cost - I did not realize how expensive that item is which included the labor.

Everything went like clockwork with this company so I'll keep my review short. From the appointment setting up through the installation of our new 50-gallon water heater, everything went smoothly. The installed price was fair and our installer (Eric) was punctual, knowledgeable, and neat. Next time a plumbing issue arises we will definitely be calling The Pampering Plumber for service.

Very well- he was polite, prompt and answered all my questions.

He was only at my home for an hour and used about $20 worth of parts and he charged me $365. I called them and they said they would pass along my information to their management team. They charge you $59 to just show up and then give you an estimate. You either take their estimate or pay the $60 to do nothing. It cost more to use a surgeon or a lawyer. This is a deceptive practice. This is just like bait and switch. The estimate is less than honorable and the company is deceptive at best. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

They were very professional they did the work that was required.

The same serviceman, AJ, has been here for 3 visits this year. Each time, he was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in his work and in helping me understand the problem. I would highly recommend The Pampering Plumber and will call them whenever I have a plumbing need.

On the evening of 2/27/14 we had an overflow from a toilet in our master bathroom. We immediately shut off the water behind the tank and started cleaning up the water from the overflow. Unknow to us at the time the water not only overflowed from our master bath, but also in the guest bathroom. After we cleaned up the water from both toilet overflows and going through at least a dozen towels we decided we better give The Pampering Plumber a call. I contacted them the next morning and they sent out a plumber by the name of Art. We explained to him what had happened and he immediately went outside and ran a snake up the sewer line from the edge of our property back towards the house. It was determined at that point that there were roots in our drain as he pulled some of them out with the snake. He advised us that there must be an opening in the line for the roots to get into the drain and recommended us to put in a new drain and gave us a quote on how much that would be. Art was very pleasant and professional just an overall nice guy. He even told us about a $40 coupon in the Angie's list magazine that we used toward the cost of the service, rather than the $25 on line coupon. We may get a couple of other quotes before making a decision on replacing the sewer drain as it is quite expensive with the amount of work that needs to be done. This is the second time we have used them and we highly recommend them.

ERIC was dressed very professionally from the neck up with a neatly pressed blue logo-ed shirt. I had no problem with his pants given the fact that he has to crawl around all over the place. He was very professional, friendly & affable He suggested we have a community employee shut off the water system to the house since the valve handle was precarious (due to a prior condition, pointing out that if he did it & it broke, he'd be liable for it, rather than the community employee). We got that done immediately. He then set out to fix the leak we had under our kitchen sink. At one point he said it was advisable to make a direct connection from one pipe to another rather than fix 2 separate areas & so he did that. All in all, I felt the work was of a high quality & the price reasonable for what he did. He was here & did the whole job in 45 minutes. The price included materials. We would definitely use The Pampering Plumber again!
