JIMMY'S TREE SERVICE

First of all, they were very late. Secondly, their equipment kept breaking down. The job was to remove, yes I did say remove, huge stump in backyard. This was a Cyper tree I believe, we are 2nd owner of house just moved in month or two before. They brought their grinding machine and a chainsaw. Around the tree stump the previous owner had planted about 8 - 12 small bushes to sort of hide the stump. The guys proceeded to plow through the bushes without even asking us if we wanted that to be done. Too late.....Next the grinding began, than the chain saw, grinding for a couple of hours I would say. The smell from the stump was awful Champor you could smell it a block away it was making me sick. When they were done grinding the stump there was a huge pile, huge, of shredded bark, about 3-4' high. Along side of this huge pile was the tree stump! They were gone already. I said to my husband where did they go. He said they left. They said they couldn't take the stump, they didn't bring the truck! I couldn't believe it. This stump has got to weigh litterally a ton or more, here it is laying in my yard now along with the grinded up stuff. Me and my husband filled up trash cans and containers from 5gal paint containers for a couple of weeks working all day every day filling up the things and than carrying them to an empty lot next door. Weeks went by, still we have not reached the bottom of the pile. This is outragous, we were so so upset and disturbed by the mess they left. We are in our 50's hauling this heavy stuff for weeks, almost a month to reach the bottom, and guess what we see.....more of the remaining tree trunk and roots!!!! These are now stickidng out of our lawn, my husband tried chopping at the remaining trunk for months. We finally paid a couple of guys some money along with us and a couple of neighbors to roll the stump they left behind up onto their trailer to haul it away.

I have 9 oak trees and they are very large and Jimmy's takes care of them.
