Art Smith has been working for me on multiple projects (electrical and handyman) for the past 6 months and I will have him continue to return until all are completed.

I bought an older home that use to be a rental, thus it needed electrical improvements and trouble shooting. Art was recommended to me by a co-worker. He came to my property once a week for almost 3 months. You can buy whatever light fixtures you want and Art can install it as needed. He holds a Master Electrician License but does various odd jobs as well. During his weekly visits he Installed new lighting in the house, Security lights outside the house, Pressure cleaned the home and garage, tore out a bathroom, installed bathroom exhaust fans and vented them to the outside. He also installed attic exhaust fans. He also investigated a significant power draw down the home was having. He suggested having TECO come out and check the connections from the power pole. Sure enough TECO responded, did a test and there were two connections up on the main power pole transformer that needed to be replaced. In fact the TECO employee initially said the test he performed looked normal according to his test device but it was Art who at the same time noticed the resulting short taking place at the top of the power pole. The best thing about Art is he is honest and trustworthy. My co-workers actually have him watch there house when thay are gone. I also would do errands while he was working and felt totally secure. He actually would direct other workers I hired to do what was needed if they arrived and I was gone for a short time. One set of security lights I purchased malfunctioned after several months. Art took care of it for me. He contacted the manufacturer and performed the return at the store and then reinstalled the new set. Very helpful. I plan on using him again when the time comes.

I called Mr. Smith and left a message on his voicemail with a brief description of my needs. He contacted me within the hour and set up a time to come out and give me an estimate for his services. He arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. I showed him the fans that I had purchased and where they were to be installed. I also showed him my kitchen and explained what I wanted him to do. He made a few very helpful suggestions for the lighting I wanted to have installed. I told him I was planning to put a hot tub on my lanai and was told by the retailer I would need to have 220 electric service installed for the model that I was interested in. He agreed and gave me some advice as to where the best place to install the tub would be. He made some notes and took some measurements with regard to the distance between the electrical panel in my garage and the lanai. He was extremely professional and very personable. I was comfortable asking him questions and his answers gave me confidence that he was knowledgable in his field. He did not hesitate to offer suggestions and recomendations to me. He stated he would have an estimate for me within 24 hours. He asked me if I would like him to email it to me and I thought that was great. The next morning, I had an email with an itemized price list. I called him to ask how soon he would be able to do the project for me. He offered a few options for me and I chose Friday Oct 16th because I do not work on Fridays and it was convenient for me. He told me that he would do his best to finish the job on Friday, but if he was not able to, he would come back on Saturday to complete the work. He arrived promptly at 830am. He worked pretty much without a break the entire day. He was extremely focused and intent on completing the job. He worked until early evening to complete the job. He was neat and cleaned up the areas he worked in. He showed me everything that he had done and asked if I had any questions. I thanked him for a job well done. I gave him his check. He gave me his business card and told me he would be happy to work with me again. On Saturday, he did a followup call and asked if there was any problems or questions that I had. Everything was working well. He told me that if I felt comfortable with the job he did and knew anyone who might need his services, would I give them one of his business cards. I assured him I was totally impressed with the job he did and would be happy to pass along my highest recommendation.
