Both quality of materials and workmanship were excellent . The result was a beautiful practical walk-in shower that I absolutely love, a fine upgrade of my outdated bathroom and although not visible, much needed excellent plumbing repair. Most of the work was done by Michael Holtzman and and his capable assistant Joshua. They were advised and assisted by Jim Holtzman, the contractor in charge who has more know-how than any I have dealt with before. I was impressed not only by their impeccable work, but also by their attention to needed additional plumbing and electrical work that was done as the space behind the drywall became exposed. Their willingness to do the additional work immediately saved me much money in the long run as it would have meant removing drywall again to reach the hidden pipes. The electrical work was done by Drake Electric (subonctracted by Git ?R Done): this is one electrician who knows his ?stuff? and does not cut corners. After dealing with some that list being licensed, but truly cannot be trusted to do a good job , this was a welcome change. In conclusion, I recommend this whole crew to anyone considering renovation of their bathroom at an honest price. These people can be trusted to do a conscientious and capable job, not cutting corners and that is worth waiting for. As to that, some reviews expressed frustration over a difficulty communication with the office: and that was initially true for me too. But the problem has been addressed and was not due to unwillingness or evasiness. Contact Jim on his cell phone when you cannot reach the office immediately and you will get an answer In short, I was hesitant at one point due to some reviews that expressed frustration over communication problems. I would advise you: be patient! These people are worth waiting for. You can trust them and I don?t say this lightly. Jim has a lot on his plate, but you will Git ?R Done in due time, and it will be done well. Sometimes a contractor has a lot of work and you may not be the first in line. I signed a contract with Jim Holtzman, VP of Operations for Bath Planet of Tampa Bay, and a licensed contractor for Git "R Done Contracting & Management. (FL Dept of State indicates that Bath Planet of Tampa Bay is a dummy front company for Git 'R Done Contracting & Management.) At the time of the signing I was required to pay a deposit of half the contract amount, $3,290.00. An appointment for remodeling was set for 11-10-14. The contractor did not show up on the scheduled date. No call, no nothing. I tried to contact them but they would not return my calls/messages. I contacted Bath Planet corporate office and the contractor finally returned my call. Another appointment was set for 12-1-14. Again, the contractor did not show up on the scheduled date. Again, I tried to contact them and they would not return my calls/messages. Again, I had to contact Bath Planet corporate office and they convinced me to set a third appointment with Git 'R Done Contracting and Management for 12-22-14. Yet again, the contractor did not show up for the appointment. After four months and three "no show" appointments we reached the limit of our frustration/patience and cancelled our contract with Git 'R Done Contracting & Management. We have not received the return of our deposit money.

This review is based only on one meeting I had with a company rep on 3/7/14 to discuss a contract. As a result of the meeting, I have contracted with Bath Planet to have a walk-in tub installed. No work has yet begun, as we are waiting for the tub to be made and shipped. The gentleman who met with us was very punctual and professional. The price quoted ($12,000) was very reasonable, lower than the price my mother just paid another company who installed a tub for her. The work will be completed by Git R Done. The B rating for responsiveness was due to a statement that I would receive a call (the day quoted was 3/11/14, 6 days ago) from a Bath Planet rep before they deposit the down payment check and to make sure I still want to go forward. I haven't had a call, and I haven't tried to call them to find out if I misunderstood. The check has not yet cleared my account. When the work is complete, I'll submit an updated review.

Bath Planet came out and did gave us an estimate for doing the work. We were applying for a grant thru the VA so we could not sign a contract. Bath Planet was told this up front when the appointment was made. We needed specific information that Mr. Myers could not provide that night. After numerous phone calls to the office we still don't have the information we need to submit the bids to the VA. We now have to start the whole process over. I believe if they can't talk you into giving them your money that first night, then they are not interested!
