Description of Work: We noticed some damage to our aluminum fascia after we had our roof replaced. I contacted Aluminum FX after I received a quote from the company who originally installed our siding and believed the quote was way too high. We previously had good luck with companies listed on Angie's List, so we felt comfortable that he would do a good job. Tom Caine, the owner, came out promptly and quoted the job for less than 1/3 the price quoted by the other company. He had other jobs ahead, but we were not in a hurry. So he stayed in touch and when he was able to do the work we scheduled a date, he showed up promptly, replaced all the damaged aluminum fascia and did a beautiful job. Since his price was so reasonable, we also had him replace some aluminum not damaged by the roofers. We were in the middle of a remodeling job, so our contractor was here when Tom replace the fascia. He also was impressed with the work and asked Tom for some business cards in order to refer other customers. We would definitely have Aluminum FX do any other aluminum repairs we may require in the future.

+ -1 moreThe estimate provided was completed at the scheduled time, on the scheduled day. Tom provided a written estimate specifying exactly what areas, materials, and costs were involved. I've had estimates written on the back of business cards so I'm not sure if everything is included. On the day the work was performed, Tom started in the morning and completed the work by mid-afternoon. After a walk around the house, he noted three items that still needed attention; then he took care of two and returned the next afternoon to attach a final needed piece. While we all wish repairs were less expensive, I feel the work Tom performed was of the highest quality and worth every penny paid.
Description of Work: Repair and refastening of loose/bent rain gutters; installation of leaf guard on front of house; addition of two downspouts on front of house; replacement of three downspouts; addition of rain gutter on east side of house.

+ -1 moreOverall it went great. He did an excellent job. Would recommend this company to everyone.
Description of Work: Put aluminum siding on the downstairs part of our house and in the barn that is connected to the house. Had asked other contractors and no one wanted the job. It was a lot of work. The house and barn was wood but had in the past stucco brick put on and there were areas that we had not gotten the stucco off and it was still on and had to be taken off. It was not a simple job. He was willing to do it. It looks fantastic. He even matched the type of aluminum that we have on our upstairs, and had to learn how to put it up around the windows so it would match the upstairs. Originally he had done a screen porch for us and we were really pleased on that so I asked if he would be interested in doing the siding.

+ 3 moreMr. Cain is a one man company. I was extremely pleased with his work, professionalism, and honesty. He did some minor repair work that he found needed to be done to make a superior finished job.
Description of Work: All new thermal windows, siding, new downspouts, new screening on screened room, new AC cover.
