Mark was refreshingly honest, and very patient and informative in answering all of my neurotic questions about what brand to buy, what efficiency I should get, what a fair price should be, etc. Joe went out of his way to give me peace of mind on the deal and alleviate everything I was worried about. Then Dan, Mike and Richard came out and did a beautiful job on the installation. Everything was clean and precise and perfect. This is exactly how customer service is supposed to be, and the new system works better and more quietly than I ever imagined.

The Air Hawk team was prompt, courteous and comprehensive in their annual tune up of my dual systems in my South Tampa home. I have known Joe Massa (owner) for years and I was ecstatic when I learned he had started Air Hawk. I trust him and I trust him to impart his extensive HVAC knowledge to his team. He is the absolute best in this area.

Tech arrived within 40 minutes of 2 hour window. Tech diagnosed problem immediately and drained the drain pan and checked the Freon and pressures. I had cool air flowing again within one hour of arrival. Mark was very courteous during the entire repair time, answering all our questions. I signed up for an annual service plan, which I have never done before. Best service ever.

Excellent service was delivered with the utmost professionalism! The technician arrived soon after my call and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I especially liked the text feature to communicate when the technician was en route to our home.

Came on time Bill and Danny were very respectful to me and my house. They kept the debris to a minimum in the house. Bill was very informative throughout the whole process showing me what was done and how to prevent problems in the future. They cleaned up impecably! I was very impressed with their work ethic. Wow! We were in a bind. We returned one Saturday afternoon and discovered our air conditioner had crapped out. We contacted Air Hawk at 3 pm and they were knocking at our door forty-five minutes later (on a Saturday, no less!) It was bad news! Air Hawk had been here months earlier and added coolant, but the coil was leaking. It was just a matter of time. And the timing was the worst. We had twelve guests coming the following week! On Monday at 9:45 AM, the replacement crew was at our door. They told us exactly how long it would take to replace the old 30 year unit and when we could expect relief. They were right on the money. Speaking of money; we were expecting the worse. What a surprise! Out of respect for Air Hawk and their competition, we won't reveal the price, but it was WAY below what we thought it would cost. The unit was a Rheem; the same as sold by Home Depot. To summarize, Air Hawk is a solid company that provides outstanding service with top quality prices. If we could give them more that five stars, we would. If you are in their service area, you should give them a call!

This was by far the best experience I've had as a homeowner. Joe (the owner) came to my house and gave me a very fair and honest evaluation on my system. He advised me that the compressor on the unit was bad and due to the age of my unit it would be in my best interest to purchase a new unit. (I had already had 4 other people out who gave me the same advice). Joe was very professional and truly made me feel comfortable. As a woman, I was nervous that I might be taken advantage of in the process of buying a new unit, but I certainly wasn't. Joe gave me the BEST price on the unit and then he had his guys come out and install the unit. These two gentlemen were SO friendly and professional. They even changed two lightbulbs that were blown out that i couldn't reach. If you are looking for a personal family feel, stop looking! This is the company for you. The whole process with owner Joe Massa and his team was excellent! We had already gotten quotes from other vendors, some larger and more established. They wanted $11K for the same job and product quality we got for $6K with Air Hawk. When we called Joe, he met our schedules perfectly and promptly. Walked us through all the options, low, medium and high quality products and features. We made our choice, and he helped us arrange financing right there in a few minutes, then scheduled the install. We chose a 4 ton Rheem unit with much improved energy efficiency, better themostats, and UV lighting to prevent mold. When Joe inspected our setup, for both the external unit and upstairs components, he recommended and eventually built an improved structure to support drainage from the system. His team were in and out, courteous, efficient, and the system was done in a day. Joe came by himself to inspect everything they did, and make sure the wiring was top notch. He made sure to get our paperwork in for rebates from the electric company, and quickly answered a few questions we had post sale. We are loving the new unit, it's quieter, cooling the house well upstairs and down.

I am extremely impressed with the level of knowledge and expertise that the owner Joe has. I initially called him out because a couple bedrooms in a new home that we purchased weren't cooling as well as the rest of the house and he arrived that afternoon to check it out and schedule a day to have it worked on. The very next day, which was a Saturday, we noticed that the temperature in the entire upstairs was about 10 degrees hotter than we had it set for so we called him up and he completely diagnosed the problem with us over the phone. He was at our house the next morning and had it all fixed in about 5 minutes! I would very highly recommend Air Hawk Heating and Cooling to anyone wanting their unit serviced right the first time!

Workers were on time; job was clean; no debris left outside / inside. Needed one change in inspection but all was done very quickly & professionally.

I had a different company come out to do a A/C tune-up and received nothing but a sales pitch to replace the whole system. I contacted Mr. Massa to get a second opinion. When he came to my home, he found that the previous company did not even do the tune-up. He cleaned my unit, fixed a wire that was frayed. Before starting he showed me the inside which proved the other company did nothing. When he was done he showed what he had done and explained everything to me. Most importantly, I don't need a new unit. He was personable, conscientious and I recommend Air Hawk to everyone.

The technician showed up about 10 mins early and he let me know he was running a little a ahead of schedule, which was a good thing. He performed a very thorough check over my entire system. He took extra care and showed great attention to detail overall and in particular how he cleaned the coils on the outside unit. I have have had other companies service my system, but this was by FAR the most complete I have had done yet. He took time to explain a few things (pointers that anyone can do themselves) in order to help ensure the best performance and longevity for my system. I am was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who needs A/C service. Go AIR Hawk, keep it up!!

Joe is amazing. We had been having an ongoing issue with our AC freezing. It was intermittent and turning it off for a couple of minutes would correct it, but it was still inconvenient to say the least. Last year alone we hired other companies and they replaced two capacitors, a contactor and a thermostat and still the issue was not resolved. Joe came all the way out to Clearwater, asked what the problem was and said that the issue was with the relay. Apparently our air handler is notorious for having a crappy relay to turn on the handler. He replaced it with a magnetic one, checked our coolant levels and said that we are good to go. The AC has never worked so good. I really can't recommend Air Hawk enough. It was a genuine pleasure dealing with someone as professional and knowledgeable as Joe and he will have all of our business going forward.

It went very well. After thoroughly inspecting all water pipes in the garage and attic, he carefully inspected the hot water tank and determined that the water temp control was set too high and the relief value was allowing pressure runoff in form of water to be released to floor. Charged me for the "house call" only and no actually plumbing work was involved. Joe Massa is professional, punctual and cost effective. I highly recommend him to others and will use his services in the future should the need arise.

Air Hawk's personnel were professional and courteous. They were able to provide prompt service. Our service provider immediately diagnosed our unit's problem. Repairs were affordable and fixed the problem. We will definitely use Air Hawk for any future A/C needs.

They were excellent! I was very happy with the service. He was at the home for about an hour. The guy was just incredibility pleasant. His responsiveness was 'A+'! I was pleased with the price too. He got my air conditioner working!
