Description of Work: Sun Surfaces recoated our pool deck with a two tone color combination that looks beautiful. Very professional, showed up on time, cleaned up work area. This is the second time we have used them and have been very happy with the work both times.

Description of Work: I used this company before in 2007 and was satisfied with their service and product. In Jan of 2013 I contacted them again to give me an estimate to repair cracks in the cool decking that had appeared over time and pressure wash the deck as we are selling our home and I wanted to make the deck look nice again. Andrew Cramer is the sales rep who came to the house and was actually the same sales rep who handled the initial transaction in 2007. I paid a deposit of $454.00 for the cracks to be repaired and the deck cleaned but when the repairmen came to the house it was determined that the deck would not match the repair job and that it really needed to be painted again. I resisted this at first but decided that I wanted it to all match and it is an important feature of the pool area so I approved the change and the workers came out to the house to start the job. I want to make clear that the workers who perform the actual job are hard working and my complaint is not with them. After they were finished the deck looked great again and Andrew came to the house to take pictures and collect the payment. The trouble began in April, only three months after the job was completed when the cracks in the deck that were repaired began to surface again. This was the main reason that I ordered the job in the first place and was shocked to see that after only a short period of time the cracks were surfacing again. Since it had only been 3 months I contacted Mr. Cramer and was promptly told that the cracks were not under warranty and that I would have to get another estimate for them to be repaired if I wanted it done. The paper work does say that they do not warranty cracks but after such a short amount of time I felt certain that they would feel obligated to correct the repair work which was obviously done incorrectly especially since I was a repeat customer but sadly this was not the case. At first I made an appt for Andrew to return and supply me with the estimate but after thinking it through I realized that I didn't want to pay for another three month repair job so I called and left a message for him that I changed my mind and would be documenting my experience on Angie's List. No return phone call. I will also say that the deck looks great at first but the material they use is very pourous and it doesn't take long before you are out there with a scrub brush trying to get the dirt out of the deck and that can be a little tiring. I used a very soft brush so the integrity of the deck would not be compromised but this deck does take work.

Description of Work: Repainted and sealed the pool deck.

Description of Work: Pool deck and sidewalk leading to our front door was resurfaced with Sundek product.

Description of Work: They removed Chatahoochie river rock from our pool deck, they repaired cracks in the concrete in our pool deck, and they concrete stamped into the pool deck. We were very happy with the installation at the time. There was a stain in the concrete and I had them re grind the concrete so it wouldn't drain into our home.

Description of Work: They resurfaced the area surrounding our pool. They also resurfaced the apron and walkway leading to the pool deck.

Description of Work: On my pool deck, the crew removed the 3 layers of old paint down to the original concrete. They then put down a primer, a base coat, then the "grout" layer. When the "grout" layer dried, they put down the template for the design I chose. Over that, they put down the last layer. After drying, they removed the template and did spot retouching where needed. Throughout the process, they kept the pool, flower beds and walls masked and protected from the mess. The whole thing took 8 days, but would have taken 6 if it weren't for the weather.

Description of Work: Resurfaced pool deck and laid using a tile and diamond design.

Description of Work: Resurface the pool deck and sidewalk leading from pool to boathouse. Ground down the old pool deck and sidewalk surfaces, leveled the sidewalk in an area that had sank 2-3 inches (walking hazard), pressure washed all surfaces, applied new base and texture coats, including adding a red brick colored masonry runner design around the outside of the pool deck and along both sides of the sidewalk.
