Description of Work: Quality of the flooring was great. Installer was great. The problem was that it took WAY past their estimate to get the flooring in and it was excuse after excuse after excuse. They couldn't get their story straight and had some highly unbelievable reasons. Can't prove they made it up, but it all seemed pretty fishy. Regardless, it took months to get the stuff in, then still had to have them come back and fix it because they installed the wrong transition pieces.

It was horrible, the installation took way longer, they didn't clean up, I still have trash next to my house from them. They never arrived on time, I missed days of work and they didn't even show up. Finally it was done, im missing grout on tile, I have the tile with thinset on it. I have grout film on the entire tile. Every time I call to get a pick up of the trash...oh I will look into it and call you back - no phone call back. Never again
Description of Work: Tile of the entire main floor

I didn’t let them install it because they were too high. They were very upset that I didn’t let them install it. They wanted something like $1.85 per sq. foot and I got it installed by someone else for $1 per sq. foot. Their guy came out and measured the job. He charged me but they refunded the fee since I bought from them. They ended up selling me 100 sq. feet more than I needed. They refused to refund the money for the extra 100 sq. feet because mine was a special order and they didn’t install it. They way I know they over ordered was that the insurance adjuster put down how many feet there were, and the amount of feet there actually were that the insurance adjuster game me was what the amount that the installer used. It was 500 feet and they ordered 600 and something feet of product. The price was good and that is why I used them. They told us that it would be here in a week and it took them two and a half weeks to actually get it.
Description of Work: I bought laminate flooring from them. I had to redo my whole downstairs.

I would have dirt floors before I would use Floors Direct again. The entire ordeal was a terrible experience. I ordered Mannington vinyl planks, and carpet for my home and paid Floors Direct in full for the entire order in May, 2013. The vinyl planks I received were a faulty lot and within a week they began to curl and wave. I had to work through Mannington and the distributor because Floors direct could care less about trying to correct the problem. The ?service? has been awful, few return phone calls and empty promises. I finally got the vinyl planks and carpet laid in October, 2013, SIX MONTHS! However, it is now November 20 and the job I paid for in May is still not complete. Floors Direct ordered the incorrect moldings/transition strips ($319.92) and refuse to supply the correct strips nor refund the money for their mistake. I am currently trying to purchase the correct transition strips to complete the job. Don?t be fooled by their false advertising that guarantees customer satisfaction or their misleading sign in their store with the owner?s phone number if you should have a problem. It?s all a smoke screen, once they have your money the ?service? ends.
Description of Work: I purchased a Mannington vinyl pank flooring for part of my home and carpet for the balance in May, 2013. When the vinyl plank was installed it curled within a week. I got little cooperation from Floors Direct to correct the problem, so I had to deal direct with Mannington. They said the flooring was a faulty lot and they would replace it, however, I would need to deal through the retailer. Floors Direct could have cared less, and they made the next 6 months h*** because of their total apathy.
