Young's Garbage Service LLC

Our garbage is going on two weeks out at the street now with no pick up there’s maggots everywhere we are now having to combat our fly problem because of the lack of attentiveness of our garbage company. We have called every day this week trying to get them to come pick it up they said 4 AM on Thursday. It’s noon and again no pick up. ABSOLUTE WORST GARBAGE SERVICE EVER

I would give them zero stars if I could. Unreliable, unprofessional, unreponsive and they take your money and don't provide the services you pay for.. used youngs for weekly trash removal for a very long time. They missed several weeks but always showed up eventually and said they'd credit our account for the missed weeks, until this month. They'd say they're driver had covid or was new to the route and made a mistake, it always made sense and seemed legit. It just always happened The two weeks before they also skipped / missed or late. On 12/16 they never showed. My husband spoke to the lady and she gave us her word they'd be here 12/23 and said they had skipped us, again, accidentally. We tried calling and emailing with no response until 12/28. They said they'd no longer be coming down our road and would credit what was still left and the missed weeks. How is that even helpful when we're stuck with 3 weeks worth of trash they promised to get and we paid for, if they aren't coming back? Why didn't she just say on the 16th they wouldn't be servicing us anymore, instead of leaving us stuck with all this, after promising to show up before our company got here Christmas Eve.? Its embarrassing and a health hazard they left us with. Worst part, we recommend them to a lady who owns 9 properties. After what they've done in telling her not to bother, she was already hesitant when I told her about how they sometimes skip weeks.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They always have excuses for not picking up our trash even going as far as saying we didnt have it out on time. They are very rude when you call the office and dont try to cancel because you will never get refunded what money they owe you.

Our garbage pick-up day is Monday, On June 2 the pick up was not done, My husband called on Tuesday, they answered and told him sorry, new driver, must have missed us. Asked if we wanted a credit? Told them no, we need garbage picked up. Can is full. He was told they would pick up that day. Since then, they do not answer phone at any number, do not answer messages, just ignore us. I am 67 and disabled, my husband is 76, we have no where to put garbage except to stack in garage and put by side of road on Monday and hope they pick up then. I joined Angie's list to look for another garbage service. This on is terrible and totally unprofessional. le

The total lack of response is UNACCEPTABLE, period.

From initial contact to my service contract being established the staff was professional and courteous. They are willing to discuss all my needs and provide service in a timely manner. The rates they charge are far less than with other trash services I received quotes from in the Marion County area. Anytime I have a need for a large pickup their staff access my needs, meet and often exceeded my expectations all at an affordable price. I will continue using Young's Garbage Service for all my trash removal needs and can highly recommend them.

Ten bucks a month for curbside trash pickup is a good deal when you live in the boonies, and the only other option is taking it to a collection location yourself. Had pickup at least once at 11pm the night before the morning it was supposed to be picked up, so if I hadn't already had it out by then I would have been outta luck There have been occassional times that pickup was missed. But overall they do ok.

I was new to this company and the first week I took out the trash before work 5:00am friday only to come home and find out they start pick up at 3:00am. so fine I'll put it out the night before,well during the week of Thanksgiving (witch they were scheduled to pick-up) they never showed until the next friday.now on 12/11/2009 they have missed another pick-up so out of six scheduled pick ups I have taken the trash to the dump myself three times. I will switch back to my old company on monday they cost more but you get what you pay for.
