carpet installation
+ -1 moreUnbelievable service. I received numerous emails and phone calls prior to installation, including a photo (in email) of installer who would do the work (a very nice safety feature for the homeowner) - and follow-up call/survey on my satisfaction with the process. The installer was polite, quiet, hard-working and the carpet installation looks great. He removed all existing materials (not even a teensy scrap of foam padding left in driveway) and installed new padding and carpet, vacuumed new carpet. I would DEFINITELY use Home Depot and USIG (their installation provider) again and recommend them to anyone needing new carpet. The whole team was very helpful.
Description of Work: Installed 3 rooms of carpet through Home Depot. Approximately 600 square feet, remove and dispose existing carpet and pad.

+ -1 moreThe company from which the hardwood floors were purchased paid the installers to rectify the situation. during the damage repair the manager/owner again denied that his employees did the damage and told us that the company from which we purchased the hardwood flooring paid them to do the repair.
Description of Work: Floor installers caused damage during installation. They hid the damage by placing furniture on it. When we removed the furniture to replace with new furniture we discovered the damage. The company owner/manager denied that his employees caused the damage although he was not present in the room where the damage occurred at the time the furniture was placed in the original position by his employees. The company refused to correct the damage.
