 + -1 moreHe removed the old GENIE opener, and installed a new quieter and better functioning LIFTMASTER. He did suggest that the GENIE was under powered for the door. He lubed all the hinges and springs, and I am quite satisfied with his work.
Description of Work: Ryan installed a NEW Garage Door Opener, Lubed and balanced the door. The older opener, a Genie, has givren me trouble for several months. The digital opener failed, and the door would not stay open or closed..

 + -1 moreI recently purchased a home in Ocala, Fl, but am still living in CT. I called Ryan, in the 3rd week of September, because my home inspector noticed a problem with the garage door. Ryan was to call me back on 10/2, when I would be in FL at the new home, to set a time to come and look at it. HE NEVER CALLED, so I used a different contractor. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Description of Work: He was supposed to look at damage to my garage door.

He advised that he could repair it; quoted me $90.00 for parts and labor, and stated he could be here in 1 and 1/2 hrs. He arrived at 10:30 a.m. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken gear, oiled the rollers, and quieted the mechanism. I was very satisfied with the courtesy, workmanship, and information about maintenance.
Description of Work: Replaced broken gear on the automatic garage door opener that caused the door not to open.
