Description of Work: We had our kitchen completely redone. We initially met with Ray in December. He came out to our house took measurements, listened to what my wife wanted and shortly thereafter presented her with a beautiful drawing of our kitchen. My wife and Ray made changes and finally agreed on the final design. Here is the long and short of it, we've had independent contractors do work on our houses in the past and their timelines are never accurate. We talked with Ray about it, he agreed it was taking too long and did everything he could to try to speed it up. I will say this about Ray, whenever we called, he either answered or called us back immediately. He would even call us before we called him. We told him upfront that communication is important to us, so he did a very nice job with that. The final product is beautiful, we were very satisfied. Here is the surprising part. Some of the trim work is lighter than the cabinet doors, my wife noticed, but didn't say anything to me and I didn't notice it or it didn't bother me. Ray called about 1 week after the job was finally completed. He said that he talked with his painter and that the trim work was a shade lighter than the cabinet doors and he wants to repaint them. He ordered the paint, he called us last week and is going to come pick up the cabinet doors, re-shoot them and bring them back. This says a lot about Ray's honesty and commitment to excellence. While it took longer than we expected, if we had gone to one of the big box stores the job would have taken 4-6 months and in the end that is how long it took for ours to be completed. The quality and custom work if much nicer than the products sold at the big box stores. I would definitely recommend R and J Interiors. Nice job Ray.
