Movers One

I have learned the hard way to get things in writing as I only dealt with Movers One by telephone. While the manager Tim was accommodating in moving my move date cause by hurricane IAN, I was only advised based on what I said I had in furniture and boxes to move from my deceased mothers studio apartment at Grand Living it would take about 4 hours and the rate was $100 an hour and there would be 2 movers. On the date of move 3 movers arrived. They loaded and unloaded in about 2 hours. I was presented a bill for $420 including a gas surcharge. They chose to send an additional mover and at this point I was told the minimum was 4 hours by Tim on speakerphone whom had quite an attitude. The actual movers, Ryan, Alex, and Bri were kind and efficient. Tim handled the situation very poorly and unprofessionally/argumentative. I felt both deceived and uncomfortable. I was never told of a minimum or a surcharge. I felt I was taken advantage of in a vulnerable state. I paid them $400 cash to get them to leave and will never deal again with or recommend Movers One.

The first house was fine the second one was rushed and the owner did not show up.there was not enough room in the truck for all items.so we agreed verbally that he was to come back and take some valuable items to his auction (since there was no room in the truck).I left a key and the workers assured me to come and pick up remaining items within the next few days and clear out.they said to call in a month and check if the items had sold at auction. I called and called and called.I got an answer one time and the owner said nothing had sold.After 3 month I got a hold of someone in the office (I had to use someone elses phone and then they picked up)The Employee told me that they just forgot about the items and never picked them up.Someone else lived there now and disposed of everything. I got no compensation and no apology.I thought that was very unprofessional

They were excellent. Prompt, on time, they knew exactly what they had to do. My husband has a lot of suits and shirts and I have a lot of dresses and they hung them in the back with no problem. We got to meet the owner of the company and he was very polite and cordial. He stopped by on the way to Kissimmee and picked up some things in our storage. I would recommend them to others.

It all went very well and met all the needs of me helping a friend in Ocala, while I live in New York. I joined Angies List just to get a reputable mover and Daniel Gray was professional and very kind. My friend has some altered mental status and her description of her belongings turned out not to be what the reality was After a short conversation with Daniel he agreed to proceed with the move and my friend wa treated very nicely. Much appreciated!!

Called an made an appt to meet them at my old house for 3pm. They did not show by 3:20, so called them and left a message, did not get a return call by 3:40 and called again. Got them on the phone and they stated they would call me back in 5 minutes to let me the new arrival time. It is now 5:20 and no return call, and no one is answering the phone. Very disappointed after I drove 45 miles to meet them, and they not have the curtesy to call me or return calls as promised.

Gave us a quote for the move and when we didn't use them they lowered the price to half.We checked out their location and the sign was on the ground,all the trucks had different name on them and we were told by a worker from a company next door that they may be out of business.We did not feelsafe giving them our business

My experience with Movers One was fabulous! I communicated with the team - Marcus and Daniel, specifically - a few times before the move. They were willing to load the contents the night before the move so that we could get an early start the next morning. They arrived on time and unloaded everything quickly and efficiently. Nothing was damaged. Their attitudes were uplifting. They were clean, responsible, reliable, courteous and friendly. Their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Movers One.

Movers arrived to load the truck and were very careful not to damage walls.furniture or floors. They protected the furniture and mattresses better than I would have expected them to.I was impressed with their dedication to prevent any damages to the contents.They arrived at the destination site and unloaded with the same care and concern for all the items. Overall I would recommend them and use them again if I ever need to move.

They gave a reasonable price for the work that they did. I would use them again in the future if needed.

It went excellent. They wrapped all furniture in shrink wrap. They loaded and covered with blankets all around. They were very timely and professional and left no mess. When they delivered, everything was in perfect condition. There was not a single damaged or broken item. They were very efficient and set all of the furniture where I wanted it.
