Description of Work: Had a drain field repaired. Mr. Mills was prompt and quick with his service. We've used him before to replace a sump pump. He was the only one that found the problem and fixed it without hesitation.

+ 0 moreWe had a house for sale and a home inspector reported our septic had a hole in it made by tree routes. We had never had a problem, had the tank pumped two years prior, and inspected and the tank was reported at that time to me in good condition. We called Mills Septic, whom came highly recommended. They came out within two days and the owner himself did a thorough in depth inspection following pumping the tank. The report was music to our ears, although the false report had ruined our real estate sale, the report that there were no leaks in our tank and the condition was very good was music to our ears. John Mills, himself, wrote a report of these findings, which I forwarded to the home inspector, Danny Blankenship. Hopefully, he will be more prudent in his reports in the future.
Description of Work: Pumped our septic, flushed it, and inspected it for any cracks or defects.

+ -1 moreNeedless to say, after getting a quote from the woman over the phone and being told to contact them when I was ready to have the septic system put in to the property we were clearing, I stopped looking and comparing prices figuring that we already had everything set up and I only had to call them when we were ready for their services. Unfortunately now we are searching for another Septic Service that will hold true to their advertisement stating that they serve Levy County which is only 28 miles away from Marion County.
Description of Work: Called office about 2 weeks I go to have Septic Service put in for a new home. The sales lady was nice and gave me an estimate of $2,300 due to the fact that we lived in Levy County and this is where the property is located. On their advertisements they state that they work within 50 miles of their company. However when I called them I was told if they do not pull permits because they are not allowed to pull them in Marion County. I proceeded to call the Levy County Health Department and was informed that contractors can pull permits. I received a call from a gentleman stating that they do not work outside of Levy County. As far as I'm concerned this is listed as false advertising when their website plainly says that they provide services within a 50-mile radius of Ocala.

Description of Work: Inspect incoming pipe from house to septic tank and checked if the slope of it has the proper gradient; pump-out the tank(2 chambers) and take out a 7 years old grease deposit(cake)on a curved section of the incoming pipe by using the "Roto Router"). The Owner. Mr. Mill. personally inspect,made the correction on the pipe slope and re-check flow into tha tank.He is an expert and a well versed person in the septic tank technology. I will not hesitate to use his services again and from here on. Of all the Companies within the Ocala area he is the most reliable and its charge for the services was highly reasonable.

+ -1 moreI called Mills Septic as recommended by another provider. I needed a second opinion on an inspection of the drainfield for a home we have a contract on to buy. Mr. Mills answered my call after 5pm and I explained the situation to him. He was able to get out to the property within 48 hours and provided a very thorough analysis. Mr. Mills is clearly very experienced, and it shows. If you need an expert, he's the one to call.
