Mid-State Duct Cleaning

Tony and his youngest son Justin were prompt and courteous. The job took several hours. Tony had to leave and return with a taller ladder for our 14 foot ceilings, leaving Justin to work by himself. Unfortunately, they arrived with a single plastic drop cloth. Areas underneath the registers were not protected from the falling dirt removed from the ducts. Debris on the single drop cloth was spread throughout the house. Tony did some quick vacuuming at the end, but we ended up with a filthy house, our clothes in the walk in closets covered in dirt, and our cork floors spotted from water dripping from the washed registers with shoe prints. There was little to no effort to protect our home and furnishings. Tony quoted $400.00 as the cost at our initial contact on Angie's List. As I later realized, Tony overcharged me without referencing his own pricing and senior discounts based on the size of my home. Nor did he honor his advertised cleaning of our dryer vent. Because of the mess that was created within the house, and his failing to honor his Angie's List pricing and discounts, I had to critically review his service.

Great communication setting up the appointment after the purchase. Tony and his son arrived at the scheduled time, introduced themselves and then thoroughly explained what he was going to do and how it would be done. They hand washed all the A/C vents, covered furniture with tarps and then cleaned up after they were done. Very professional and courteous, but friendly and easy going too. I would high recommend them and would definitely rehire them in the future. Very satisfied with the entire process. Thank you so much!

Tony, who is the owner of Mid-State Duct Cleaning arrived a little early which was great. He was very professional and courteous. Ever vent they worked on they covered my furniture with plastic to make sure nothing dropped on it. They hand washed ever metal vent they took down, cleaned and vacuumed out all of the duct work. Then they cleaned and vacuumed the floor afterwards. Tony also gave me some great tips on how to keep my AC vents cleaner and the house more evenly cooled. Very professional and thorough. I will definitely use them again and refer them to anyone I know.

I tried clearing out the dryer vent by purchasing one of the DIY tools from Home Depot but, that didn't fix the problem. Tony was able to clear out the vent and find the root cause of the problem on the roof vent. I would have never thought of climbing up there to check the vent there. He's seen and done enough of these that he is on my calendar for routine cleaning. Highly recommend.

Tony and his son arrived right at the time Tony told me. He traveled all the way from Ocala to my house in south Orange County. He and his son were very polite and respectful. They quickly began work removing duct and vent covers. His son thoroughly washed each cover on both sides while Tony used his machine to clean out the vents and returns. He also cleaned the filter in my electrostatic air handler (which was filthy). They covered all my furniture while doing the work and cleaned up afterward. Tony also offered to clean my dryer vent, and he treated my bedroom vents with an ozone treatment since this was a problem area in my house. This took the two men nearly 5 hours to complete in my 3100 sq ft home. They worked very hard and never stopped. My husband came home from work and commented that the house smelled very clean so they must have done a good job. Thanks Tony and Justin!

Tony and his son Justin arrived exactly at the scheduled time. They went right to work and did an excellent job of cleaning the ducts in a house that we recently purchased. The house was built in 1983 and has metal ducts which I am sure have never been cleaned. They cleaned all ducts with a rotating brush and big vacuum cleaner. The got a lot of dust and dirt out of the duct system. They cleaned up after themselves and left the house spotless. We look forward to having less dust in this old house! We would definitely recommend Mid-State Duct Cleaning to our friends and neighbors. :-)

well don't get me wrong ! the work he did in my home was long over due and needed badly ! The 1st thing I didn't like about his service / whole situation is prepaying for the service and after the fact finding out he could not do the job for another 3 weeks ! since prepaid , rather fighting to get my money back and going with another provider, I just stayed with it ! if you need it one asap DO NOT PRE-PAY ! I was out of town , my mother was housesitting when he came to do the service ! My mom was happy with the work he did and the guy worked hard ! I was also told from my mother who is 80yrs old ! the guy kept on trying to offer to do more work ! this needs done ill do it for certain amount / cost ( like a mechanic at a dealer ship ) I didn't care for this to much ! he needed to talk to me ! not my mother ! she told him my son hired you for a certain job and that's it ! he has other service providers scheduled to do the rest / what else needs to be done apon my return / while Patrick's a/c had my coils removed for cleaning ! I inspected the job he did 1st he failed to clean my dryer vent as stated in the contract , my main vent where the a/c filter go's he missed the bottom ledge right below/behind the a/c filter , I'm yet to go up in the attic and inspect a/c tubes for damages which the brushes are well known to cause ! I'm not to happy with his services for the following reasons : his treatment of my mother , failure to do a complete and thorough job ! and I will never use his services and that prepay stuff again !

He arrived in a timely manner and was friendly and polite. He cleaned the air ducts and dryer duct. He put deodorizer into air intake vent. I was pleased with his work.

.Removed duct directors, cleaned ducts and ceiling around ducts. We had a 2200 square foot home so there were a number of them. He cleaned the dryer vent, we had been having a problem with our dryer drying two weeks after installing. Tony found there was a screen over the roof cap that almost immediately plugged the vet opening, that alone was worth the price of the cleaning. During my e-mail conversation with Tony he was prompt to respond and positive with his prices. He showed up at the appointed time. Did his work in a timely thorough fashion. He is personable and gave many household hints on how better to maintain the air in the home. Both my wife and I highly recommend Tony for duct cleaningk. His pricing is fair and his work is thorough.

The job was done by the owner who spent almost as much time bragging about the many customers he has in "The Villages" and the rewards he has received from Angie's List as he did working. The worst part of it was that he left a terrible mess behind him. He had a piece of plastic sheeting that he used here and there but he still managed to leave a pile of debris behind him, Our cleaning lady happened to be here that day and he just walked away from the mess he left in each room and she had to clean it up. After he left, we found that he left a terrible mess on top of the bunk beds in our Grandchildren's room. He just let all of the dust, paint chips, etc. fall on top of the bed and did not clean it up. We had to strip the beds and wash everything. He left another mess on top of my desk, my computer and the window ledge in front of my desk. He may or may not have done a good job cleaning the ducts but, in our opinion, the job is not finished until you clean up after yourself! I would not recommend him.

Tony was very professional and went out if his way to make sure he did everything possible to remedy our issues. He took the time to come back to our home after he completed our job to address our questions and concerns at no additional charge. I recommend him highly.

Our 1985 vintage house?s duct system had never been cleaned, so it was bound to be a nasty job. Tony, owner of Mid-State Duct Cleaning, arrived on the scheduled day & time and did a great job on our 4 bed room 3 bath house. I felt his price a little lower than market and his work WAY ABOVE satisfactory! I will definitely use Tony's services again in 2 or 3 years and I recommend him to everyone!!

Although I was not here when the work was done, my general contractor was. The GC reported that a great deal of dust and debris was removed from the ducts. Tony is an owner and performed the work himself and traveled all the way from Ocala to Clermont. He is responsive and communicates clearly. I also chose Tony over the more expensive and commercially oriented providers near me.

everything went great tony did a great job and took his time. our grandson was always coughing at night in his room so we thought maybe it was the dirty ducts so we found tony on angies list .tony came out and cleaned our ducts and all vent covers and since that was done our grandson hasn't coughed since. we are grateful there are people like tony doing this type of work fair pricing and great job we will use him again

I am so glad to get a call from Tony this morning saying that he had a cancellation and would be able to come to my new home this afternoon. I just left him a message last night. I bought a home in a retirement community that was built in 1980, was empty for four years, and I don't believe the vents had ever been cleaned. They were filthy. Tony came on time, took care of all the vents, showed me how the system works, how to maintain it, how to change the filter, and he even shares my love of Hersey's chocolate. What could be better than that? I find I have much better luck when the owner actually does the work himself. It's his livelihood and his reputation. You won't be sorry if you have Tony look after your a/c vent system. He understands how it functions, can help you understand it too, and he does exactly what he promises. This is an addition. I did a very stupid thing and called Tony. Without going into detail, he went out of his way to help me resolve it. Most guys might have been annoyed (and well within their rights to be so) but Tony was patient and kind and got me out of the jam I had created for myself. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for his kindness.

Tony and his son were great to work with. In fact they worked around the various needs and locations in my home that my mother in law (who has significant medical issues) needed to to do and/or needed to be moved to throughout the house. Words won't do justice to the work and ethic they exuded. You can tell very quickly how much Tony enjoys what he does. Tony was fantastic. He scheduled appointment right away. Not only cleaned every duct In the house but hand cleaned every vent cover. Very professional and very thorough. He made many suggestions as to how to improve air flow and power bill. This is a top notch business with obvious pride and skill in work. I have already referred them as they are well worth it.

Fantastic. Tony and his son arrived a day after we moved in and worked around any mess we might have. The home inspector said the dryer vent was so clogged that it presented a fire hazard. Tony cleaned a lot of lint out including a hard piece the size of a squirrel, he cleaned all the vents and washed all the grates then sprayed deodorizer in the cold air return to make the whole house smell great.
