We had to wait some time for the project to start but it was well worth it. Crew was efficient and did not waste one minute. We have a 24 x 24 2 garage that was completed in 3 days. The best ! Thanks Mike.

Mike and the company were fantastic throughout the entire process. The build was pretty much headache-free, they did an amazing job, quality work. I wish I could put pictures on here for everyone to see. They even went above and beyond to take care of some issues with our county permitting department (the county's lack of organization) several months after the build was complete. I highly recommend them.

Easily stated.......from the inception of the initial contract to the final draw, Master Garage Builders always provided all the details that were to transpire from the beginning to the end. No details were left out. Every step of the way Michael Carter, VP of the company made sure his men (no subcontractors ever involved) did the work as was promised via the contract. The contract was straight forward with complete details of all the materials, labor, pricing, beginning and ending dates, and appropriate draws as the work was being done. Having been a banker for over 40 years, I am quite familiar with general contractors contracts and the verbiage that is used. The contract that was provided was simple, completely detailed, and had no surprises. Final date completed as promised. In checking around for prices, they were lower than most, reputation was always above reproach, workmanship was the best. I checked out their work, and it looked great. See above it's a Ponzai Scheme.
Description of Work: The provider went all the way through the process of obtaining a quotation did a very good job of this part, indicating the lead time is 5 months. At the end the customer wanted $13,000 up front to get in line, and another $12,000 when the concrete was laid, before any sticks were put up. This is over 60% of the total cost. This is called a Ponzai scheme where the supplier uses your money to fund his other customers projects. Never in my life have I ever heard of a supplier who would demand so much money with a 5 month lead time. It is clear he uses your money to fund his work for other customers. be aware, what happens if the customer doesn't get any other work in the meantime, guess what your lead time just go stretched out, or what happens if the customers goes out of business in the meantime, you go to court and try to collect. Ponzai Schemes are Illegal!

Mr. [removed member name], You certainly have the right not to agree with our contract terms but to slander our name and well-earned reputation without checking any of our 1000+ references, verifying our license and complaint history (we’ve never had ONE complaint ever in 20 years of doing business) as a state certified contractor with the state of Florida, or ever actually doing business with us, is regretful to say the least. We take great pride in our reputation and we have never had an unhappy customer that actually did business with us…ever. We are always honest and up front with our customers about how long it will take to get their garage and we are currently five months out for a reason. The reason we are so busy is because A. We have the best price. B. We have an excellent well-earned reputation and 20 year track record, and C. We build a great product. Had you gone to the state of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s website www.myfloridalicense.com and searched my license number (CRC 057058) you would have seen that Master Garage Builders Inc. has never had ONE complaint filed against us in almost 20 years of doing business. We are also heavily regulated by the state of Florida. In case you weren’t aware that definitely is NOT the norm. The terms of our contract have been in place for 20 years and have never been a problem for any customer until you. Our contract and draw schedule were set up by our bank and have been in place since our inception. I respect your choice to not do business with us if you don’t like something about our company or contract, but before you ignorantly and viciously slander the good name of a company with an exceptional reputation and track record, I would suggest that you first do just a little bit of research on said company. we are extremely pleased with our new garage. MGB are all so professional and courteous. The garage is so well built and perfect in every way. Our neighbors are so impressed and I am sure MGB will be hearing from some of them. We went to see one of the garages they built and after seeing it we knew MGB would be building ours too. Thank you Jay and your crew. By the time they left we felt like they were family. We recommend them 100%.
