Little John's Movers

An accent chest was marred and a door of an entertainment center was torn off. I was made aware of the damaged door and chest immediately after it happened by one of the movers. The moving company owner, Little John, assured me he would make it right. I began calling him as to the status of the pieces after a month or so. He told me the accent chest had been taken to a woodworking shop in Ocala, FL to be repaired. He was unsure of the door's status. In the following months, I spoke with Little John personally at least 15 times as to the repair status and was told each time it was almost done. Five or six weeks ago he told me the chest's repair was finally complete. Since that time Little John has told me on at least six occasions he would deliver the chest on a specific date, but never did so, and offered no explanation as to why not. I have personally spoken with the repair shop owner/carpenter and was told the chest had been repaired for over four months, and he was just waiting to be paid so he could turn the chest over. I asked him about the entertainment center door, and he was adamant such a door had never been brought to him. I can only conclude the door had been lost by Little John's Movers. It is obvious if I want the chest, I will have pay for the repairs myself, and if I want a complete entertainment center, I will have to pay for a door to be duplicated. Little John is an extremely personable man and the fee for the movement was very reasonable; however, the complete evasion on his part concerning the disposition of the damaged pieces is completely unreasonable and unacceptable. I cannot, in all good conscience, recommend Little John's Movers to anyone who is not willing to pay for damages out of their own pocket.

The movers called to reschedule the day they were to move the piano stating that they didn't have the equipment they needed with them. Then they just didn't show up the rescheduled day. When I called them, they said they would call me right back. Of course they never did. Not only did I wait around all day for them, the seller did too.

THE WORST MOVERS EVER! If you want your stuff to be broken, scratched, dented and generally abused then these clowns are for you. Their unsupervised workers are rude, unskilled and lazy and arrive without supplies. Expect to be lied-to at every turn and you should plan for an extra day because they might not show up when they are supposed to. If anyone suggests using these clowns RUN FOR THE HILLS!

WORST MOVERS EVER!!! If you want to be lied to, over-charged for negligent service, have your stuff broken, scratched, dented and generally abused then these clowns are for you. Their laborers are unsupervised, inexperienced, attitudinal and rude. They arrive late, completely unprepared and with little or no equipment and supplies. Do yourself a favor and lose this company's contact info. WORST MOVERS EVER!!!!
