Big Sun Fencing

I have a .5 acre lot with some tricky bends. The came out and did a survey and drawing and gave me an estimate that was a bit higher than one other company, but Big Sun was including solar light post caps. Scheduled the project and all the fence was special made to what I wanted. Justin Campbell and his crew came out and quickly installed my fence. If questions came up they answered them and I also answered them as well. They treated my dogs well and even made time for them. They never did anything without asking first. They had custom solar light post caps and they are amazing. Big Sun fencing is a great company. The price is comparable and the quality of product and service far exceeds other companies in the area. I would go to them again and I would and will refer my friends to them. They also have a warranty and will go the extra mile to ensure you are satisfied.

I received several quotes for my 1/2 acre property. Big Sun beat out all quotes by a mile. The installers were fantastic and dog loving guys which was super great for me having big dogs. They were able to get my fence super low to the ground. They showed me areas where they were concerned for my dogs and to make special arrangements for. They were fast and reliable. I absolutely recommend this company.

Nice installers tried to do what I required with my odd lot layout. Over all nice job.

The first two guys they sent out were horrible. Reminded me of Eldon on Murphy Brown. Promises, promises that they "would be there at 7AM to complete the fence." Rearranged our schedules for 3 weeks with the "promises" but they didn't show up and had all sorts of excuses. HOWEVER, in the end, the company stood behind their product and they sent Justin and he was AWESOME! He fixed their mess (6 inches of space between the fence bottom and the grass! Not good when you have two dogs you want to keep contained!) He had to replace the gates, replace the locks, and pound the fence posts into the ground so the dogs couldn't get out.

This was an installation for a small fenced in dog run area. First, there were issues with the project schedule. They committed to the project during a specified time period, only to then contact me and delay it. Then, in all fairness, I requested a change (adding more fenced area) which they accommodated, and then yet again we had a delay due to a materials issue (it was explained that our materials were on a truck that they couldn't locate...). Finally, the installers showed up after these initial delays in a beat-up pick up truck, shirts off, absolutely filthy, no drinking water or food for themselves, missing a bucket and other general materials needed for the job. We rolled with it and found the materials in our garage and provided them water and refreshments. Within 20 minutes of arrival, these two began loudly arguing with each other... actually screaming, using foul language, and getting in each others' faces as if they were going to physically fight. Keep in mind, this is a neighborhood in which there are children and families, in addition to my own children in the house. They kept this up intermittently throughout the day, until finally it got so bad that I was terrified someone was going to call the police, or worse - they were going to hurt each other. I contacted the estimator, who called them and talked to them about their behavior... however, within 10 minutes, they wound up in the street arguing even worse than before and beating on their truck and threatening each other!!! The work itself was acceptable, but had numerous issues, which needed correction. When I contacted them, the company sent someone out and did quickly make the corrections to our satisfaction, as well as offer an apology for the fiasco (though, they did not offer any discount or other compensation). However, the entire experience was very unprofessional and stressful.

This was a three neighbor project that turn out great. I highly recommend Big Sun Fencing and will use them again on any future projects.

Installers did a great job, had to work through the weekend due to tin out. But the fence looks great and I am very satisfied with the work and the company. I would recommend Big Sun Fencing if you want a vinyl fence.

Overall, I am pleased with the fence. As others stated, each person I spoke with was courteous and professional. There are some minor adjustments that I am waiting to have done. 9/2019 -Since my original review, the adjustments I mentioned were taken care of, and I was very pleased with the work. They have also recently installed another gate and small fence. Great work!

I was very satisfied with the quote and totally thrilled with the quality of work. The installers where very customer focused and showed great attention to detail. I highly recommend this company.

Courteous and professional from Katie in the office, to Mike , the estimator and the installers, Jason and Joey. They were able to work us in earlier than expected. Very helpful with all of our questions and concerns. Our dogs were thrilled to be able to run off lead in their newly fenced yard. Fence is beautiful.

Real gentlemen and real pros. Installation was very good, took minimal time and the installers had great respect for our property. Now we have the enclosure we needed for our Golden retrievers.

Their prices are very good. They were half the price of the local fence business in New Smyrna. They were very professional and they have a great product.
