They arrived early and were ready to do the replacement. I didn't hang there and watch what they were doing but now I wish I had. After waiting 45 minutes (as they told me to do) to draw water after they left, I discovered that the water smelled like the blue joint stuff plumbers use. I tried all the faucets and it was the same. I called their office but no answer. I left a message explaining the situation and asked them to call me back as soon as possible because I was very concerned that the water was tainted and possibly poisonous to use. They did not call me back until the next day and when they finally responded, they told me "that was normal" (are you kidding me?) and it would go away in a day or so. Five days later, the problem was still there, I was buying bottled water to drink and cook with and neither the plumbing company or gas company has ever responded to my being very dissatisfied. I learned from a different plumbing company that they would have put a high E rated unit in for $450.00. I strongly urge you to go somewhere else for service or purchase of a water heater. And by the way, they told me I needed a new water heater and that my unit was too old. Well it's been weeks now, and guess what, things are no different than they were with my old unit. This deal between them and the gas company is a rip off.

They did a very good job! TECO supplied the Tankless water heater, I repay them 60 months interest free at $24.99 a month added to my gas bill. I paid the plummer -0-! All taken care of! Call TECO Gas, this a great deal!
