He explained that there was some "gunk" in the pipes, so he put some bleach through them to clean them out (something I had neglected to do for a few months), he checked out the units to make sure they were working properly, changed the filters and explained to me everything he did. When I asked him about the fact that the units seemed to be loud when they were operating, he explained that I was puting the covers on incorrectly when I changed the filters.
Description of Work: Regular annual maintenance of two heating/air conditioning units.

Description of Work: My heater broke on 12/14/10. They'd been pestering me on the phone for a $39.95 checkup. I gave in when this happened and called them and a new fan in heater ($149) was installed. He told me that heater was full of mold and there was nothing else he could do. Early the next morning it stopped working again. I called someone else. Told me hardly any mold. Needed another part and now works fine. I won't use them again. I think he was a salesman and not a technician. Live and learn. Won't use them again.

+ -1 moreI was called by them with an offer to clean/check system for $39.95. Once here tech showed me mold/condensation on air handler coils. quoted cost as $535.00 which included a 1 yr care contract/clean & kill mold & clean any mold from duct system & spray coils with coating to prevent further mold formation. When he finished he presented a bill for $660.00. His explanation was that he had replaced a burned out surge protecter switch without consulting me or discussing it. The care contract was a $135.00 charge which I then cancelled which then brought bill down to the original price quote. I felt the tech was a very poor communicator and I won't use this company again. It seemed to me that the bill was padded to get as many dollars as possible

The gentleman was very courteous, professional, and friendly. They were an all around good company. We would definitely recommend them.

+ -1 moreThe cleaning took about 3 hrs. (We have a 2 story house with 14 ducts to clean) The service men were very professional and did a very good job.
Description of Work: Individual ducts were cleaned with air blasts that loosened the dust. Then a large vac, attached to the duct system, sucked out the dirty air. Then a sanitizing spray was used in the ducts. The spray kills mold and other microbes. Each room AC register was taken down and cleaned by hand.

+ -1 moreThe second technician was very thorough and nice. The original technician had overlooked a connection, so he filled the unit with coolant and it was fixed. I was very impressed with the quality of service and promptness. There was no bill because any technician would have corrected the problem. I think it's rare for a company to accept a mistake but it's good that this company wasn't ashamed to correct it.
Description of Work: They did an annual service on our A/C unit. I had a cooling problem with the unit, but the first technician overlooked a repair, so it wasn't fixed on that first visit.
