I've used him about 10 times now. He is honest, very talented, fair, and reliable. He is just excellent.

It went really well. No problems, reasonably priced

I had a variety of handyman services because the first guy walked off the job. Apollo arrived to save the day. He arrived on time, did what he said he would do, made sure everything was satisfactory to me and even did a few extra things to make it all perfect. I an delighted to find someone who is so professional, talented and trustworthy! I will always use Apollo for any handyman services I have in the future.

He responded promptly to my request by email and then I called him to schedule a date. He said he would call me back within a few days because he did not have his schedule with him at the time. He never called back. I don't chase service providers.

The service turned out fine. They really did a good job. They knew what I needed to have done. They performed the work, I would say much better than I would normally expect. I think they started on May 2, but they didn’t really start to paint until the following, I think Monday, and then I paid him on May 10. They did the ceiling on the 8th and finished on the 9th & 10th. I had other estimates and they were all about $400 more. The painters told me, “we’ll have to do the pressure washing first!” They went around the house before they pressure washed and removed the grass so they could get the paint below the grass line. Which surprised me. Anybody else would have just painted down to the grass, I guess down to the soil line. They actually removed some of the soil and the grass and then put it back all the way around. They just did a thorough job and there were so many cracks. It was really a lot. I’ll continue to use them. It was on a rental property, it wasn’t on my own house. They were very responsive. I had to know when he was going to be there so I could tell the tenants. He was just right on, spot on. It wasn’t like he was coming to my house, I needed to know and call the tenant. He was extremely punctual, that is why I used him.

No complaints. The work was done carefully and the finished jobs look very nice. Our special requests were carried out such as reinstalling grab bars. Our changing schedules were met and the job carried out in good time. Care was employed to keep the work area clean.

Went extremely well. It was a difficult task because of the condition of the door frame. Apollo is an extremely intelligent guy who figured out how to get the job done without costing me a hefty sum of buying and installing a new sliding glass door. We very much appreciate his professionalism, innovativeness, and honesty.

It went great. Apollo and Tito were punctual and very professional. The work is professional and you could tell they cared about making sure it was done right and the final outcome was just as we wanted it.

Apollo an Tito arrived early to repair door, but after I told him of not having any "dryer venting" to the outside, he said that needed to be done, leaving it was a fire hazard. After finishing the door, Apollo had left to get outside vent piece and started that project, I was horrified at the amount of dryer "debris and fuzz" that they got out of dryer hose and attic

Apollo called when he said he would and showed up 15 minutes early. Upon arriving to my home, he discovered that there was an a/c leak that I wasn't aware of and resulting drywall damage from said leak. He repaired it all- the a/c, the toilet, the occasionally working florescent light, applied kiltz and touch up paint to ceilings and walls- that day. He charged a fair price. I didn't feel ripped off when he left. He took the time to teach me how to apply touch-up paint so that I could fix any additional areas myself once he was gone. He is a kind individual and good-hearted. I would hire him again with no hesitation.

Terrific experience and I would not hesitate to hire A-1 Handyman for everything they could possibly do! Seriously. Reliable, devoted, unbelievable detail oriented combined with exceptional workmanship. Apollo and his team take great pride in the work they do AND IT SHOWS!

First of all, this post/review is LONG overdue and my only excuse is that I want to keep Apollo and his team's work a secret for myself and not have him get too busy! : ). I am a single woman who bought a small condo and went through a full renovation. I found Apollo on Angie's list and am so grateful I did! From our initial contact through the completion of a series of work I had his team do I felt very comfortable and taken care of. I had him completely demo a very outdated kitchen and remove bulkheads in addition to haul everything away. He also helped me (and showed me how because I wanted to learn) fix a sliding glass door and its lock to ensure my safety. Finally, he installed a beautiful backsplash and built an overhead faux cabinet to install my hood vent on. It came out beautifully and I continue to be impressed by his positive demeanor, pleasantness and professionalism. Apollo was able to fit me into his schedule when I was desperate to get some finishing work done prior to a Christmas party I was hosting, I was so happy to have the work completed and for the outcome to be everything I had imagined! I of course continue to have him on speed dial as I choose to complete projects over time that I need help with. I am happy to have found wonderful customer service and attention to detail with Apollo and his team!

Their work without exception was impeccable, and they were always responsive to our custom requests and goals. Will be using them again!

Apollo came out to my house the next day to repair my toilet. He was actually early. He was very friendly and the cost was very reasonable.

The secretary was nice and professional. I had one day off from work , I requested to have professional come in that day. I had an appointment scheduled for that day. I was then later called that day that he was not going to be available , and tried to reschedule for following day , which i was not able , due that i work that day. No more calls were received. I still need the job done.

Mr. Rodriguez responded to the call immediately and showed up for the appointment promptly. He explained the situation clearly and suggested different repair options based on our financial considerations, aesthetic values and long-term use of the structure. Not only we asked him to do the necessary repair, we entrusted him with the complete remodeling of the bath room which he completed on time and to our satisfaction. He also did some other handy-man works including fixing locks, laying additional plumbing etc in our house. Impressed by his professionalism and promptness, we are planning to ask him to do remodeling of other bathrooms in our house. I would strongly recommend Mr. Apollo Rodriguez to all of my friends and family for all handyman-related and remodeling works , without any reservations.

Apollo was courteous, trustworthy and he had an eye for detail. He matched the light fixtures to the décor in the kitchen and the ceiling fan color with the color of my rooms. He saved me money, instead of replacing the screen door he put in a new bottom screen and a new handle. He used wood I already had for the door frame. Payment for the work done was very reasonable.

Apollo answered my phone call right away and was able to fit me into his schedule that day. He was very prompt and so courteous. He was very kind to my mom. He installed it quickly and with great care to make sure it was secure.

Apollo was very prompt in returning my call and getting back to us with an estimate. He was so patient with me and my husband in explaining what he thought would be best, in terms of repairs. He and my husband spoke several times about possible options. Apollo and Tito arrived on the appointed date, earlier than expected. Their work is excellent! The porch looks like new again. During the day, I asked if they could replace the mailbox while they were here - we had purchased a new one, but hadn't gotten around to putting it up. Apollo very kindly agreed. Their cleanup afterward was great - they even took the old mailbox away. We are super happy with their work, and will certainly ask them to come back when we need more things done to the house. It's very hard to find people who are true craftsmen who take such pride in their work product - Apollo and his team meet that definition! And their price is VERY reasonable. Thank you so much!!!

Apollo and his team, Ben and Tito were top notch. Highly impressed with the whole experience....quality, price and timing. We have already scheduled them back for 3 more rooms and some carpentry. Terrific job!..... We are fairly new to the area and are so glad we found Apollo.

Apollo was a pleasure to work with. From the beginning communication via email to completion of the job, he kept me informed. He was on time and completed the job in a very reasonable time. The work was being done for my mother-in-law and he made sure that everything was to her satisfaction. I could not have ask for anything more. His prices were extremely reasonable and his work impeccable. We will be using him for other projects in the future.
