Apollo has been wonderful to work with. After contacting five contractors, he submitted the most cost-effective bid to clean all of the gutters on our home and to make sure that the water flow on the property was in good shape. He worked for seven hours as one of the gutters was overgrown with tree roots, causing terrible water back up. He had to buy several parts, fix it in the rain and spend most of the day doing it. I have never met anyone who has more patience and willingness to do the very best job that can be done. And he is amazingly knowledgeable about fixing so many things! When he left, we had almost four straight days of rain. What would we have done had he not been willing to do what was necessary to get the gutter fixed? I shiver everytime I think about that. On top of that, when he wrote out and explained the bill to us, he gave us a 10% discount because we found him on Angie's List. Needless to say, we called him back as soon as the next household need presented itself on July 6, 2012 (two weeks later). We had a "choked up" kitchen sink pipe, causing a terrible back up. As soon as I called him, he came. Unbelievable these days!!!! He spent 2.5 hours unplugging a terrible blockage. When he wrote the bill out, we couldn't believe it. This was an emergency call. He came from Ocala to Gainesville. And, he gave us a 10% discount off of a total of $125. We refused the discount as he drove from such a distance to help a panicked family out. Apollo is the result of a lot of prayers as we have dealt with many contractors who have left us so disappointed. We see Apollo and at least he gives us many reasons to smile when we write out our hard-earned check!!

We just purchased our home in May of this year. We previously had the irrigation system checked before Apollo and was not satisfied with the service. We joined Angie's List and found Apollo's name and business. All of his reviews were very positive , so we decided to give him a call. He answered right away and we set up a date and time for him to check our irrigation system. We are extremely pleased with Apollo's punctuality, professionalism, dependability and friendliness. We could tell immediately Apollo truly cares and will do whatever it takes to satisfy his customers. He does not rush through the job, he takes the time needed and definitely takes pride in his work. He also showed us how to adjust the sprinkler heads which will save us time and money. We have decided he is our go to guy for all of handyman needs. THANKS APOLLO!!

We called Apollo on Saturday and he came out to fix the car on Sunday. I cannot recommend this professional highly enough. Not only did he come out on Sunday, but it was also Fathers day! He was polite, punctual and extremely competent. Thank you so much Apollo. I’m so glad we found you, and thank you Angies List for the information .

Apollo started work 48 hours after selection, sent his right-hand man Chris Carmen over the day before, and finished as promised. Apollo and his team worked several long days as a seasoned crew that totaled four on the second day and two on the last day. The work was excellent including advice on color match and helping us work issues with the paint company when color match wasn’t as expected and we had to go back twice and get correct paint. We made several additional work requests, adding a closet, doors, another ceiling repair and handyman tasks that Apollo and Chris responded to in a “no problem” manner at a reasonable price.. Chris Carmen was in charge in Apollo’s absence and operated as a working leader while handling anything unusual like repair to a water-damaged front door entrance that had been repaired in a very shoddy fashion by another contractor; what an improvement after Chris finished his magic! We found an unsightly gap in the tile near a living room wall that existed since the home was built; Chris was able to mask it so that it blended in much better. Chris and Apollo did a lot of extra things to make the home good. Sherwin Williams Harmony environmentally friendly paint was used because we have problems with allergies; this crew had prior experience with it. Although Mr. Rodriquez was here for most of the work, there were times Apollo was taking care of other jobs he had going, Chris could always be counted on to keep things going and right, with a penchant for quality. Apollo and his team displayed a “can do” attitude throughout the process. They encouraged us to point out any concern which they responded to and corrected in a friendly manner. These folks worked hard and did an outstanding job! . Please contact Apollo for your painting, other handyman, landscaping or auto repair needs. Apollo and Chris are amazing and have great work ethic and values, we heartily recommend them.

After Mr.Apollo performed the tune up he informed me about my losing brake fluid & needing a brake job he showed me problem trying to save me money he suggested I wait to have them done. I said no "let's make this truck road worthy" is what I told Mr.Apollo so he replace brake pads,brake shoes,rotor,drums bearings everything that needed to be done he did it which took time I was in no rush for the vehicle which he was able to help his other customers.Mr. Apollo restored my faith in having a good affordable auto tech I haven't used him for his handyman services but that why change very so.

The air conditioning grills looked brand new after Apollo stripped the old paint and repainted them. Once the grills were reinstalled, they looked brand new. To add to the finished touch, he painted the screw heads and touched up the baseboard. I was completely impressed with the finished product.

Apollo arrived promptly with the part and tools needed to replace the locking mechanism on a sliding patio door. He was done in less than 30 minutes. He made sure I inspected it before he left. Once again, I was impressed with his work...so much so, I've already requested he make another repair in the house. You can't go wrong with Apollo!

Found cause of low pressure on one of the water lines - vandals had removed one of the hidden sprinkler heads. A replacement was installed and adjusted.

Overall, the completed work went far beyond my expectations. The workers were prompt, brought all of the right materials needed, worked diligently all day, and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Apollo noticed an exterior water value needed to be replaced. He also noticed that the outside dryer vent needed to be reattached. He also noticed one of the electrical outlets in the garage needed to be replaced. He volunteered to fix the last three items even though those items were not part of the original estimate. Apollo even volunteered to wash the exterior windows just because he wanted everything to look nice once the job was completed! After the work was completed, my house looked brand new and sparkling clean. I would highly recommend A1 Auto & Handyman Services. and plan on calling them again for other handyman projects.

They came and did a good job for me. They were exceptional. They were friendly, quick and obviously knowledgeable. I cannot say anything negative. They were terrific. I would absolutely use them in the future.
