I will be using Apollo at A-1Auto&Handyman Service in the future!

Apollo and his wife came to our house, on time, and spent a good hour walking around with my wife and I and measuring, taking notes, answering our questions and making recommendations such as matching the hardware for our doors, told us that our ceiling did not require painting, just few touch-ups, etc. We gave the go ahead and he did not ask for any money up-front. Apollo scheduled a start date with us and he always showed up on time, did a a great prepping and covering furniture that we could not move out of the room. They did a great job filling in nail holes, repairing the walls where needed, caulking and most importantly a wonderful paint job on the walls. My wife and I were very happy with his work and asked Apollo for a quote to enclose the den. Apollo brought in another person who had a lot experience installing walls (both framing and sheet rock) and extended the living room wall, so a single bedroom door could be installed enclosing our den. They purchased a new bedroom door and installed and painted it. Both my wife and I were extremely happy with how the completed room look afterwards. We got lot's of compliments on how well the room looked and fit into the architecture of our house. Bottom line: Apollo and his team always did excellent work, at a very reasonable price and finished the job on time.

Very smooth service. Highly recommended. Apollo was a delight to be around. He was friendly, and definitely knowledgeable. Apollo knew exactly what he was doing, and was certain to double check his work, before moving on. When he first arrived, there was no hesitation, nor a hundred questions, he knew exactly what needed to be done, based off our past discussion, and was getting the job done right away. Apollo assured me, that if anything were to go wrong, to contact him asap, and he would correct it. I now have two ceiling fans that are working great, thanks, Apollo!

I found Apollo's company on angies list and was impressed with him from my first phone call. He was prompt, coureous and timely in making his appointment. I met him and was floored by his knowledge. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT WITH THIS GUY! He walked the house with me as I reviewed what I was looking to have done. He gave me great suggestions and options. He offered to pick up the materials if I would like, which I did. He called me shortly after with the estimate including the materials and we set a date. He informed me it would take 3 days, which it did. His work was outstanding down to the attention to detail on the paint. He removed the closet maid hanging system that was in the house since new which was one bar across for hanging. He re-installed at a higher level and added a new tier so we now have double hanging in both closets. Like having another two closets. Great Job all around. Cannot wait to get him back next month to work on our kitchen! I am blessed to have found him and will use him many times more.

He is a very hard working and trust worthy individual. He cleaned up after himself and he would also give you advice on what work needed to be done or how he would go about doing a project.

This man is a genius!!!! I would hire him for anything that he could do. My son and I went to Publix at Canopy Oak and when we went back to the car it would not start. We called a tow truck to have the car towed home so that I could call Appollo Rodriguez the owner of A1 Auto & Handyman Servs., because I had used him before and was more than satisfied with his work. It was getting late when we got home so I was going to ask him if he could come tomorrow. Unfortunately he was on a job and was going away for a few days the next day. What this man did was unbelievable! He talked my son through fixing the problem on the phone!!!! I have never heard of this before but I was not surprised having met this special man before. My husband and I are in our seventies and can remember when this kind of service was standard, but now it is a rare occurrence. Thank you Appollo

He and hIs assistant Kathy,(a terrific person) removed the warped wood from the kitchen and any messed involved in both areas. They took all needed disgard w/them leaving nothing to do. My mom felt much more at ease w/Apollo, even though he, himself was as respectful ,pleasant and very efficient as could be. But having Kathy w/him made her feel he showed my mom more respect because of my moms vulnerability and age of 90.She will definetely use him going forward and highly recommends him to all those in need. very fair pricing and two terrific people .

A-1 Handyman Services has been working on a foreclosed home we purchased for several months. We live out of state and purchased this home for our future retirement. A-1 has acted as our eyes and feet on the street meeting with specialty contractors for the few services they defer to others. They have been patient while we selected the items we wished to replace in the house. They have performed carpentry work, installed ceiling fans, door knobs and deadbolts, interior doors, laminate floors, major kitchen and laundry appliances and plumbing fixtures. They have made repairs to: interior doors and molding, gutters and downspouts, the hot water heater, piping from the well head & wallboard. They were able to match the paint in the house so we did not have to have the entire interior of the house repainted. They have painted several rooms in the interior plus the exterior doors and the well tank and related piping. They do fabulous work at reasonable prices, are very responsive and absolutely trustworthy! We are so glad to have found them and do highly recommend them.

They were punctual, courteous, neat and did a fantastic job overall. Very friendly and since we were new to the area they were able to give us a lot of helpful information to help us out. We enjoyed the experience and will use them again.

Pressure cleaned my pool cage, screens and outdoor furniture. I could not have done it better myself. A nice gentleman, fair and and does a complete job

I called Apollo because we had some water leakage around a large window. Once he started removing the frame work and checking for the cause, he realized that the damage was extensive and recommended that I contact a GC. Apollo did seal the window to prevent further damage, as well and clean up all that he could and prep the area for the full repair. He and his assistant were helpful and professional and did a great job cleaning up the work area afterwards. I would not hesitate to call him again.

They did a very nice job, were very courteous, everything was cleaned nicely and they put everything back.

They arrived on time, were very professional and amiable and did a fantastic job. They had alot of patience with hanging the paintings and shelving just so. They both had an eye for detail and take pride in their work. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

A-1 was professional and to the point. He understood the job, got on it and didn't try to make more money than necessary. I had expected a much more complicated project, but it was simple and done quickly.

Apollo worked safely and quickly replacing the face plate. I feel confident that I will not have any problems with that outlet in the future. Kathryn did a lot of labor in a short amount of time. She is very strong and knowledgeable. She advised me on how to hang a pot rack that I want in the future. She also informed me of the type of hardware I have in the bathrooms and kitchen in order that they can be matched perfectly.

Arrived several times for miscelaneous problems. He has referred me without any problems. He has come several times with estimates. He came twice on two automobiles that I had and let me know that things would not be of benefit to fix.

Apollo fixed our washer which abruptly stopped working! Thank goodness as we were looking at possibly having to purchase a new one! His quick response and coordination with us to get the part needed was greatly appreciated! Thank you so much Apollo for helping us out, once again!

Apollo showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was completed. He paid attention to details and produced a quality product. I was more than pleased.

Apollo and his helper Kathleen were very friendly and professional. They consulted me on where the mirrors should be placed, they did miss-measure where the hanger for one mirror needed to go and when they realized it, they apologized, immediately patched and painted the hole they had made and re-hung the mirror. They picked up and swept any messes they had made and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in and around the home.

I purchased a foreclosed home remotely without an inspection tour. A1 obtained the keys after the closing and checked the house out for me. They took photos of various items I had not seen. They repaired a broken water line. They recommended, scheduled and met various other contractors at the house for services A1 does not perform. They are professional, reasonably priced and great communicators. I highly recommend A1 handyman services.
