Everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. He has professionals who work with him to complete many different types of work. We will continue to use his services for jobs both big and small.

Apollo and his guys spent literally ALL day at our house one day last week and some today doing all the tasks listed. They were completely professional and thorough in their work. I am amazed at how well the lanai looks - the screen and deck all looks brand new. Same thoroughness for the gutter work and drier vent and bathroom caulking. I can't wait to get the funds to have them come back and do more stuff that needs to be done. Thank you Apollo and crew!! My only hint to Apollo is to provide the write up of costs prior to work being done -he did give verbal and he kept to the verbal and gave me write up after -but I wish the write up would have been done prior to work being done. However that said - the fact that he stayed true to the verbal quote speaks to his integrity!! Apollo is top notch!

I needed my air conditioner fixed as it was leaking. I know nothing about window unit air conditioners. He came to the house, realized it needed cleaning and showed me how to do it - he also came back later in the day and brought an eco friendly cleaner to spray on it to further clean - all for no charge at all! Amazing and I would definitely use him again.

Outstanding. Apollo is our 'go-to guy' for ANYTHING we need around the house. I had hurt my back and was very groggy due to medication. I slept most of the day, but could do so because I KNEW all the various projects that I had on my list were being done by competent professionals. Apollo and his helper, Mike, knocked off just about every item on my list with NO additional input from me. I show him once, we discuss it briefly, and I can count on him to execute flawlessly. Always prompt, he said he would be here at a certain time and he was. His prices are very fair and his work is stellar. I count myself very fortunate that I ran across Apollo on Angie's List in June of this year. He has been the best 'find' from Angie's List ... EVER. An all around great guy!!! I promise you will want to keep his phone number in your speed dial.

UPDATE: This is amending my earlier review in which I rated Mr. Apolla very low because he did not call me back as he said he would. Since that time he called me and profusely apologized. I appreciated that but I really appreciated that he didn't beat around the bush and try to make excuses. He simply told me he forgot. I respect honesty. Mr. Apolla said he does all the work himself and is extremely busy, which says a lot for his work product. In any event, my project had a deadline that Mr. Apollo was unable to meet, as well as it involving some roof repair. He suggested that I contact a licensed roof specialist since he would not be comfortable doing extensive roof work, nor is he licensed for it. In summary, due to the many positive reviews on Angie's List, as well as Mr. Apollo's honesty, I would certainly call him again should another project arise.

The problem I was having with my washer outlet box was repaired. I was pleased with the outcome.

Apollo did a great job on our toilet a few week ago. He took care of the leak and did a fantastic job with clean up too.

There have been no problems. Apollo does excellent work. The only reason that I did not rate his price is that I have been so satisfied that I have not gotten estimates from other handymen. I did use one other person who does all sorts of work, but Apollo seems to be much more knowledgeable. It took, as I remember less than an hour to assemble the sauna..

The interior painting job we agreed to have done with Apollo went very well. We are very happy with the results and will definitely call upon him again. They were also very good at cleaning up. While Apollo and his crew were there, we also had arranged to have another shelf built in the laundry room. The new shelf was constructed on site and replaced the 28 year old original shelf in this house. The new shelf is very sturdy and fits perfectly into the old space.

Called Apollo to fix a leaking kitchen faucet. He came and I provided him with the hardware from Delta faucet. He determined that we needed additional hardware but installed what I had and I have ordered the additional hardware for him to install. He did not charge me. Previous to this I called him to explain that I feared one of my outside electrical outlets was broken. He walked me through that as well and come to find out it was a garage GFI outlet that needed to be reset. I didn't even realize there was one in the garage. Will be calling him this week for a couple other handyman jobs. He is qualified, pleasant, honest and very humble. I highly recommend him.

2nd time I have contracted Apollo for a job. came out to my home on time gave me a reasonable quote on the Laminate job. Apollo went to the store and picked up flooring . Started work on time. Great job with floor beyond my expectations. My wife and myself are very happy with the worked performed. Will hire again for future jobs and refer to family and friends.

Apollo came out the same day I called him and fixed the locks on two doors. He did an excellent job, was very nice, and saved me a lot of time and money by fixing them instead of replacing them. I highly recommend him. It is very unusual for someone to respond so quickly and be such a genuinely nice person. Thanks Apollo!

Apollo called when he was on his way, which was quite thoughtful! He and Sean arrived on time and were professional, courteous and extremely knowledgable. They not only did an outstanding job, but Apollo guided me through several additional items that needed doing that I was eager to learn to do on my own. I feel I have not only received an outstanding value for the services performed but I have learned a great deal in the process as well. Apollo offers the old fashioned customer care, attention to detail and pride in workmanship that has all but disappeared these days. I am thankful to Angie's List for helping me find him.

Absolutely blown away by the quality of his work, his professionalism, his skill set. An all around GOOD guy with great abilities and equally great work ethic!!! Not only did a stellar job at ALL the repairs in several rooms of the 12 year old house we just bought, he made wonderful and appropriate suggestions for additional repairs/changes/updates. His rates are fair and the value received is 100%. Not a braggart, Apollo will quickly make a referral to another service provider if a repair is outside of his expertise. I worked for over a decade as a 'right hand helper' to a jack-of-all-trades handyman/builder. I KNOW good work when I run across it. Fortunately, I ran smack into it with Apollo Rodriguez. It restores ones faith in mankind to move to a new town and have one of my first encounters be with a completely honest, helpful and caring individual. It is a very vulnerable position to be in when one is not at all familiar with a new town. We could have easily been taken advantage of especially since there was no time to ask around and look around for quality tradesmen/women. We do NOT need to look any further. Apollo will be our "Go-To Guy" for as long as he is working in the home improvement business. What a find, what a find!!!!

Apollo expertly replaced the damaged parging on Friday and came back Saturday to paint and finish the job. This was the second time Apollo has helped me with a serious repair problem , the first being much more so. He is everything good said about him in these reviews. He has always returned my calls and phoned ahead to say he's on his way!

This work was done on our rental house in Florida. We live in New York, and so getting an honest appraisal of the work needed and having good communication throughout the course of the job is just as important to us as getting top-quality workmanship. When we called Apollo, he went over to our rental house and called us with us with an accurate appraisal of the situation the same evening. He sent us photos of everything that needed to be done. Once the work started, he sent us photos of the work at the completion of each stage, and called us frequently to report on how it was going and what he was seeing when he opened up the walls. There were a couple of gaps in the construction of the outer wall due to prior faulty construction, and Apollo repaired these as well. Knowing that I finally had someone with the expertise, communication skills, and honesty to evaluate the needs of the house that I am currently too far away to determine, I asked Apollo to survey the other rooms of the house to see if any damage had been done by prior tenants. He did so, and spotted some holes in the sheetrock walls and a toilet that was in poor condition. He sent photos of these, as well, and resolved the problems at little extra cost to us. All in all, it was the first time in several years of hiring people to do repairs in between tenants that I had someone I felt I could trust to be "our eyes" and give us a true picture of the condition of our rental property. We now have Apollo's photos of the completed repairs, and we are very satisfied with both the quality of the work he did and the courtesy and professionalism he showed us at every stage of the process. We will definitely call him again in the future.

I liked everything about him. I recommend them highly. The work lasted for several months. I paid him when I thought he needed some money; he didn't ask for it. I told him to give me an interim bill and I paid it so he could go home with some money on a Friday night. He stopped by 3 weeks ago and I told him I had more work for him. He said he had some other jobs and he would be back. I told him it was not a rush. I liked that he listened to what I needed done and just didn't take it upon himself. He really listened.

The work went well without any delays or problems. Most importantly he was professional and respectful of my home.

Apollo did great job with mounting TV on wall. Put wires behind wall. Was at house right on time and did a great job, will hire again and refer to others.

Apollo was contacted to estimate the costs of repairing some blinds in our home. Communication was all good, and he arrived to look into the problem. We spent at least an hour taking down the blinds and assessing the options, at the end of that time I opted to (upon his suggestion) to fix the problem on my own. When asked how much I owed him for his time, he replied "A handshake". I will use him again if I ever have any need for his services. For his display of honesty and integrity I would recommend him to anyone requiring any of the services he offers. Thanks again Apollo!

the rubber bottom piece on our screen door fell out. Apollo fixed it and explained that the original install from a big box retailer was not done correctly. The screws were broken at install so he did the best he could and it was fine for a while. He called later to see if what he did held up. It was coming loose so Apollo came back and removed the screws and replaced with correct one's. NOW THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. He is amazing and is the only handyman I will ever use. We love him!

His name is Stewart who's also a handyman. He explain what was wrong with the fridge, and told what to do to prevent it to happen again then he fixed it. He was very courteous and knowledgeable.

Apollo called me yesterday, asked if he could stop by and check the installation of the new garage door opener, just to be sure it was working correctly, to see if any bolts needed tightening!!! Talk about customer care! Apollo then took my glass shower doors, that my trash pick up couldn't take, because of breakage. I had planned to take these doors to the dump, would have to borrow a truck to do that, because they were to large for my car. Come on, when does a service worker, call to follow up to see if his work was suitable??? Apollo at A1-Auto and Handyman is the best!
