 + -1 morei took the lamp to the shop and expected for the repair to take about a week to be complete. Jimmy took a look at the lamp and fixed it on the spot, it only took 30 minutes to complete. i highly recommend him, his service is terrific!

Description of Work: Jimmy Evans Lamp Repair is one of those off-the-beaten-path treasures. This was my first time here and I found Jimmy to be highly knowledgeable, personable, reasonable, proficient and honorable. He repaired a lamp on the spot at what I felt was a reasonable price. Although he was unable to supply the right finial as the final step in the repair, he quickly recommended a nearby shop where I was able to make the purchase. On my visit, there were no outside signs indicating exactly where his business is located, making his shop a little hard to find. Look for the address on the building - it's in a small strip center. You'll have to walk down an interior hallway to find the shop but you'll be glad you did.

 + -1 moreI had called several lamp retailers to see if they could fix my lamp and was told to bring it in and I would have to leave it and they would call me etc., plus there would be a minimum charge of $25.00. When I located and called Jimmy he told me on the phone what he thought was wrong and he could probably fix it right there on the spot when I brought it in. So I did that and it was fixed in less than 3 minutes and I was on my way. And it only cost $15.00.
