John "The Greek" Painting

I am blown away with the professionalism and responsiveness from John 'The Greek' Painting. I reached out and requested a quote and received a follow up call to schedule an appointment within one business day. Kirk, the company owner, visited my office suite personally to review the property and provide and his personal recommendations to spruce up my office. Kirk responded promptly with a follow up quote and was able to provide a quote under my budget. I also had a need to schedule the project within two weeks of my follow up response and Kirk moved around his schedule to accommodate my project. Unfortunately, I have to pause the project because of scheduling issues on my end. However, I am absolutely only going to call Kirk when I need to revisit my painting project.

This company rocks! Very friendly people, a family-owned company. They were efficient, polite, did great work, and were very tuned into making sure that we were happy with everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing an excellent painting job!

Kirk, owner, was on site often from quote to completion. Responsive. Flexible. Fair. Tomas, the lead for the project, does outstanding work. Punctual. Productive. Skilled. Considerate. Clean.

Previously, I had scheduled a date and time for Monique to come out to see the areas I wanted painted and to give me a quote. Unfortunately, she did not show up. When I called her office, I was told (by the receptionist or whoever) that some work was being performed in the warehouse and that she needed to be there. They told me that they had 3 phone numbers for me and the one they called was out of service. I explained that I had moved recently and they did have my new number. I asked them to remove my former number to avoid any confusion in the future. I was then told that Monique had left a message on my cell phone. So, I checked my cell phone and she had left a message approximately 15 minutes before she was to arrive at my place. The receptionist said that Monique asked her to reschedule my appointment to the next day which was a Thursday. I explained that I wasn't available the rest of the week and asked if we could reschedule to today (Monday 8/10/15) at 10 PM. Well, I waited until 10:30 and she didn't show again! There were no messages left on my cell or home number. When I call the office, the person who answered the phone, said that again something had come up in the warehouse and Monique had to be there. I asked why no one called me and she gave all kinds of excuses. She even said that they tried to look up my email on Craig's list in order to contact me. They had the correct home phone number all the time! Plus, I told her she could have called information because my number is listed! She kept making excuses. I was getting exasperated to say the least! I have been in sales and customer service for the majority of my life. This girl just kept "babbling" excuses and wouldn't let me get a word in at all. The situation could have been diffused if she had just taken the time to do the right thing and listen to what the customer had to say. Obviously, this painting company doesn't care about their customers or their office staff either since she was inadequately trained. I really don't know how they stay in business. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO TELL MY FRIENDS AND OTHERS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM!!

Second time using John the Greek. Arrived on time...performed exactly as indicated....cleaned up.....completed job appropriately. Will continue to use. (We are pretty particular ). Nice to be able to count on a reliable contractor! Would recommend highly.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE.... John "The Greek", the owner, was prompt, friendly, highly professional and his company was very responsive. The initial estimate was given quickly, and resulted $4,000 lower than my neighbor's similar work. The final cost remained the same as the original estimate (what a treat). The entire team - John and his family - and the workers were excellent both in their professionalism, responsiveness, work and cleanup. All work was completed on schedule, to our very high satisfaction. Excellent, and I highly recommend John "The Greek" and his team to anyone needing exterior work/painting.

They had 2 guys come Monday Morning with John and reviewed the project. John stated the project would take 5 days. They scraped and skim coated the ceiling the first day. The same 2 guys came each day and really got a lot done each day. Having the ceiling scraped in 2 room and repairing 2 seams in another room, they cleaned up each day. They did a great job painting the walls and ceiling. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the crew.

Their quotation was considerably higher than Hart Painting, whom I used and Hart was excellent.

I liked the fact the representatives of this provider were very punctual and they did the job perfectly.

The whole process was great, the two painters showed up on time every morning, we would go over what was to be done that day, at the end of the day everything was put away and they also finished a day early. On one morning it had rained heavily and they still showed up to remove some scaffolding and to let me know they wouldn't be able to paint that day.

An excellent experience. Workman were very professional and thorough. They were obviously proud of the quality of their work. When painting interior areas they covered all furniture and cleaned up thoroughly upon completion of the work.

They were punctual, informative, polite, clean and fast. Rain delay, we got called accordingly. The painters were polite, quiet and worked very well. They were precise, covered everything with blankets, didn't ruin our plants, and worked continuously. Best money spent in a long time, thank you!

Was very pleased with the professional nature of the work and the hands-on management of the job. It's a family run business and I had the opportunity to meet the owner, who personally came out to survey the job, as well as other family members who were involved in the sales and scheduling activities for my job. The team was professional, they showed up on time, they worked hard, and they came back at the end of the job, after being paid, to complete touch up work that needed to be done. Overall a great experience -- I'd recommend John the Greek painting to others.

This company is an absolute dream. Always polite, always does their work on time and as the price promised. You can't ask for anything better. They show up on time to quote the project. They give you a professional proposal and they do the work with every detail needed. I will surely use them again.

These are the best painters in town! You are working with a family owned business who truly care about all of their projects. They were flexible, creative and responsive. Their crews were personable and respectful and did a great job with all of the services we hired them to perform. We hit several unexpected issues which they handled smoothly and with patience. So far, the experience has been very good. I think he is very personable. He showed up on time and overall, he earned my trust.

He is doing the job in phases. He did an excellent job with the first phase. His price was reasonable. He called me right back and he was there when he said he would be there. He found some problems and filled them putty. He is very enthusiastic and committed to his business. He did good quality work and was on time.

I called John the Greek at the recommendation of my lawn guy who said his in-laws use him and were always very happy. I had gotten a quote from another painter for the amount of $10,000 which surprised me a great deal. The receptionist was very friendly and said she would send someone out the next day for an estimate. John showed up right on time and I felt like he was listening to what I wanted and not just hurrying me along. He gave me a great quote of $3,000 (I had already bought the paint myself) and I hired him on the spot. The were busy finishing up a big job and he said they would start the next week. Again they showed up right on time and John was with the work crew to explain exactly what was needed. I thought it would take about 3 weeks to paint, so when I was told 10 days I was extremely happy. The extra $1,000 it cost me was because we had some rotted wood overhanging the garage that needed to be replaced and I asked at the same time if they would replace the screening in the eaves. They did a fabulous job and I am soooooooo very happy with them. I would most definately use John the Greek again and will suggest them to anyone who asks me.

The attention to detail and professionalism was second to none. They arrived on time every day and the work was fast and efficient.They were extremely helpful when it came to choosing the right colors.

John “The Greek” Painting exceeded all expectations. There project was to paint a two story home. They were prompt and on time for the work to be done. They were very professional and gave me the lowest quoted price of many. Not only did they do excellent work, but they went above and beyond and did even more work than what was contracted upon. I would recommend them to anyone needing quality paint work done at an extremely fair price.

They arrived early Tuesday morning and worked all day on pressure cleaning and prepping. They were back early the next morning to do the painting. Everything was finished in two days. The guys were very professional and did an excellent job.

We did not use him. His estimate was almost 3 times what we ended up paying.

They first day, JTG came and was very patient and explained evrything that I asled for to be done. On the first day of job, they were prmpt, very professiona, cleaned everything up and were great. They even changed 2 light bulbs for me I am in wheelchair). I asked hime for estiate on exterior, deck and painting- he got back to me within 4 days. Very good company.

They charged me about $2800 for the job. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. They did great work. They showed up. They were very professional and they cleaned up. The house came out great. It was a good price and they do quality work. They let us choose our paint and we used their paint from another store. I would definitely use their services in the future too. As a matter of fact, I have a second house and the painter is going to take a look at a small job there for me.

He did a good job overall. i did ask him to do the baseboards, which he said was not necessary. He cleaned them off instead.
