worst moving company i have ever used. they weren't honest with me. their salesperson prided themselves on how there would be one team overseeing my job. however, a bigger job came along, so they changed all my packing and moving dates, and sent 3 separate teams to do my job. neither team knew what the other team did and what was left to do. I HAD TO TELL THEM! they were very sloppy, careless, and unprofessional. many of my personal items were broken and damaged, and everything is sticky from being taped up. i have never experienced such a shoddy outfit.

They were very friendly and for the most part did a very good job. In Florida in the summer do not allow them to wrap things in tape as it took forever to remove the tape residue. I also thought it strange that an entire box of glass serving pieces was broken yet my crystal and china was fine.

They arrived on time and handled everything professionally. I was out of state and was able to obtain a quote based on photos I sent.

The company did a great job of communicating. They were on-time and the guys worked diligently (even though it was terribly hot) and were careful to not damage any items. It took a little longer than expected but it did not cost much more than the bid.

From the owner to the office staff to the movers, everyone was very nice, helpful and efficient with the move. Angela was extremely friendly and reassuring throughout the process.

The moving guys were great but their truck was a piece of crap. Customer service is in Pembroke Pines and the owner is a of piece work and not very pleasant to work with

We must thank you all at GM for the professional manner you and your moving team conducted yourselves during our move. Without hesitation and without doubt this “moving company” was absolutely THE BEST we have ever had move us (and we have had many). Truthfully, every step of the way was absolutely fabulous. The site visit for our estimate, customer service follow up and the actual movers themselves were all top notch. Whatever you have to do to keep this team together, you should do so. They represent you the absolute best. They were so helpful, courteous, worked hard and carefully; didn’t rush but didn’t drag their feet, didn’t blast music, didn’t smoke or take constant breaks. They just worked continually and steady; stayed in touch with me on the road and before the delivery. Wow! They were wonderfully helpful and respectful to my daughter who received the furniture on the move-in. I can’t say any more than simply YOU DELIVERED WHAT YOU PROMISED!!!! AND MORE.

I found out my original moving company cancelled my scheduled move on the day of the move at 7:30 in the morning. I was in a panic because I was closing on the house the next day. I contacted GM Movers at 8:00AM that morning and asked if they had a truck and crew available today. The dispatcher said he will call me back in 15 minutes. The dispatcher called me back in less than 15 minutes and said he can have a crew at my house by12 to 1:00PM and that the guys will call me when they are about an hour away. At 12::00PM I received a call from the driver saying he would be at my house in about an hour or less. The crew had to travel 150 mile from there area to my house. I was excited to see the truck show up in my driveway, I gave them both a hug. They were so Efficient, Professional, Courteous, Respectful, Kind and really knew their job when it came to protecting all of our belongings. The move with GM Movers went so easy, I could not believe the crew was done by dinner time. GM Movers should be the only moving company to call if you ever need a superior moving service.

5 stars across the board. Showed up just before 10 AM, a few minutes earlier than planned which was great. Two young men did a very good job of protecting my furniture and moving it down 1 flight of stairs. Packed everything including mirrors and an all glass curio cabinet. Drove the 200 miles to my new home and unloaded, set everything up we're gone by 5:30 PM. No damage at all.

Most professional, respectful and conscientious team we ever worked with for a full house move. Max and Christopher were tremendous and Brooke in the office made it easy.

My family takes a lot of pride in the pieces that we own. I hired GM van lines hoping that they'd make this move easy for us. This company saved our lives! They accommodated us during a very busy weekend and sent over four very capable movers. Frankly, I felt relaxed right after booking them. They have such a good reputation. They definitely proved why everyone says good things about them. The movers were so capable and efficient. They packed up everything carefully. They were properly equipped with bubble wraps, boxes, tapes and everything else one may need to pack. The delivery was made the next day with everything intact. We are so glad that our valuables made through this journey.

I spoke to their sales rep and he very quickly created a quote for me and explained everything from start to finish. Knowing how the move would work, and knowing that the price was guaranteed, made me feel very comfortable and I signed up right away. The move did not disappoint, even though it was a long distance move they treated me well and never rushed. I am so thankful I found GM van lines!
