Ken and his crew remodeled 2 bathrooms and our kitchen and we were overall pleased with the final outcome. Ken is a very trustworthy, upstanding guy, was true to his cost, and finished on time. What's more is that we did the job remotely as I live across the country. He did a LOT of extra leg work for us which we really appreciated since we weren't local. There were a few hiccups along the way, but with an old house its to be expected, plus us not being on site proved challenging. Ken worked with us on the various challenges and the outcome was positive. Finding a contractor who values his work, his word and his reputation is hard and Ken fit the bill!

Ken is a very thoughtful and truthful person. nice to have that when hiring any contractor in Florida. just don't find that often. kens people, when scheduled came in and completed their work on a timely bases. the project took 3 weeks and finished on budget. I would normally never give a 5 star rating to any contractor since there are always little things that just don't warrant such a high ranking but when my wife was so satisfied the 5 star rated is well deserved. thanks Ken, "you old jar head" you.

It was a pleasure working with and getting to know Ken on our project. He's a genuine person. He's the kind of contractor who knows his stuff from years of experience and you can tell he is in it to make the customer happy. He is personable and he enjoys designing and being creative on your behalf. He and his guys do really great work as well. We are very happy with all aspects of the project he did for us and that included work in both our bathroom and kitchen. We would hire Ken again for our future projects.

The cabinets and counter tops were installed as planned, on schedule and without difficulty. I would definitely recommend them.

Ken and his team from EZ Payless exceeded our expectations! From the moment he entered our home for a consultation, we felt comfortable. It was no question that we wanted to hire him after meeting with about 8 other companies. He was honest, communicative, and helped turn our 1,300 square foot space into a living area that could rival an HGTV home. For this project, EZ Payless took down two walls, completely redesigned the kitchen, built a bar, as well as had major plumbing and electrical work done. We were able to stick within our budget, and they never tried to upsell us or make us feel as if we had to spend more than we were comfortable with. He answered our questions and was very responsive when we wanted information. His entire team was professional, on time, detail-oriented, neat, and hard working. We had no major hiccups or delays throughout the process and the end result was more than I ever could have imagined. I have already recommended EZ Payless to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Ken was was a true professional from beginning to end. Although my job was fairly small compared to some renovations, Ken took his time to plan out the details and was remarklby reliable at making sure it was completed in a thorough and timely manner. Ken knows his craft quite well and also has a great eye for design. Ken's price was very affordable compared to other quotes, but he he did not cut corners in making sure my place was done to a high level of expertise. Finding reliable and consistent contractors is quite challenging in south Florida. Ken definitely exceeded my expectations on every level. I would hire him again for any big or small job. Matt

We contracted with Ken to renovate our kitchen in early 2020 and got halfway through until work had to stop due to the shut down. That was tough but fortunately this is a seasonal home for us so we weren’t relying on the demo’d kitchen as we sheltered back home. Ken however kept in touch throughout the year and I had no worries we would pick things back up when things were safe. When the time came to restart Ken lined up the subs and 6 weeks later we were done with a better result than I had expected! Along the way there were times we had some direct discussions with Ken on how to proceed because we have a small kitchen and had to work through a number of constraints but in the end Ken provided the resources we needed at reasonable cost. To sum up, Ken is very knowledgeable, passionate and generous with his drawings and ideas for the renovation. If you’re planning a new kitchen you should sit with him, ask questions, work out the details up front and I’m betting you’ll see that Ken is willing to put creativity and effort into the process that other contractors are unlikely to match!

Ken is awesome! Very friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable, made the right suggestions for design, I had ideas on what I wanted to do but Ken explained why it would be better to do it another way and I'm glad I listened to him. As far as his work, staff was polite, hard working, cleaned up after themselves, quality work. Wife is very happy with the new kitchen. And he moves quick, full kitchen done in 2.5 weeks, not dragging on the project for months like some other contractors I've dealt with. I highly recommend Ken, already referred him to other people. And he's a former US Marine like myself, Semper Fi!

Ken addressed all our questions and concerns and worked with us from the beginning to the completion of our project. He provided his design experience and it was a pleasure working with Ken and his entire crew. We are very happy with the remodel of our bathrooms. The team of employees were great to work with. They are professional, courteous and detail oriented. I had an idea of what I wanted/needed done but, Ken stepped in with his experience and expertise and literally "opened up" my ideas and brought them to light! His insightful guidance and advice far exceeded my expectations and was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has a home project to be done.

Ken was very easy to work with and kept the kitchen remodel organized from start to finish. He checked in daily to inspect the job, give updates and help with whatever else was needed (pick out materials/professional guidance etc.). His schedules were always right on time with no delays. When small issues came up he was always open to my suggestions and was quick to offer a full list of solutions. All his contractors were polite and the work was always performed timely and with good quality. Overall, the experience was great and I would definitely use Ken for other projects and recommend to friends.

Ken was great from start to finish. The workers were on time and worked hard. We were comfortable having them in our home. The complete kitchen remodel was completed in just 4 weeks, even with being over the holidays. Any questions I had were addressed right away. I love my new kitchen and Ken’s recommendations for some design changes made the end result even better than I had hoped for. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. It went extremely well and we are very happy with the results. Ken is very personable, made very good recommendations on the remodel, offering helpful suggestions and showing us which of our ideas would work and those that wouldn't. Ken had good subcontractors and he was always checking in to ensure their work was up to scratch. They were efficient and all to a man were tidy, cleaning up the area every day after work. There were a couple of hiccups, which Ken handled both admirably and immediately. He was also very generous with his knowledge, sharing ways and vendors that helped to make our overall project cost lower than it could have been. We have no hesitation in recommending him as he delivered as promised on time and within budget.

WE contracted with Ken Walker to build a cabinet/shelf unit and built-in hutch in our living and dining area of our home. He designed the cabinetry with the exact features that we wanted. There were a few glitches, but we were satisfied with Ken's response to correcting them and producing an end product that we are very proud of. He was also contracted to replace our kitchen cabinets, countertop and backsplash. From start to finish, he managed his subs with good efficiency. From pulling the permits to delivering a finished product, the entire job was just short of six weeks. We were very pleased with the outcome. At the end, we prepared a punch list to complete the job and he provided competent craftsmen to give us exactly what we wanted. I have already referred him to two of my friends who are considering updating their kitchens. Ken is honest, conscientious and sincere. He obviously cares about satisfying his customer.

Ken oversaw installation of a new countertop and backsplash, reconfigured a wall, installed new lighting and arranged for interior painting. He was professional, on time and on budget. All of his contractors were pleasant, meticulous and did quality work. Plus, Ken Is a really nice guy. I could not be happier with my new kitchen.

Where do I start first? There are so many things I can say! First and foremost Ken is a professional who is honest and straightforward. Something that is very difficult to find in contractors these days. My project was a total remodel and it was a bit intimidating. Ken brought in the right people that helped me with tile, electrical, and plumbing. He helped me to plan things out and it was a tremendous help! I could not have done it without his help. Also when it come to making style decisions, which I was acting alone, he was there to help me and guide me. That was great! And when it came to the kitchen and bathroom is where Ken really excels and his specialty. I will say that all the people who were associated with Ken were very flexible with me as I needed it. They were trustworthy and professional. There are so many good things to say but I will tell anyone reading this review that I would recommend Ken without hesitation! He'll do you right!

Ken was an absolute pleasure to work with. The project was started and completed on time as promised and on budget. He was on-site overseeing the work being done, and responsive to calls and texts. He kept me advised about what work was being done and when. All of his subcontractors were prompt, courteous and professional. He even saw an imperfection in the countertop that I did not not notice and had it fixed. I was really happy with the finished project. When it comes time to reface the cabinets (or any other project that might come up) I won’t hesitate to call Ken.

I had a complete kitchen remodel done while I was out of town. The work was completed within a month. Ken was fabulous to work with. He provided me with a detailed layout of the redesign as part of the interview process. He has an eye for detail and made suggestions that enhanced the design of the kitchen. Ken personally drove me to various showrooms and helped me select cabinets, handles, countertop, backsplash, and sink. Ken and his team were very professional and took pride in their work! I felt very comfortable that Ken was in charge while I was out of town. Ken is a very kind, compassionate person who was a joy to work with!

Ken came through as a champion. The job was done on a property we own in Florida. Everything was arranged remotely. Ken was super responsive and really cared about the job. We needed the remodel to look amazing because we are selling the house. Our realtor is very impressed by the end result and so are we. Ken took care of every detail. We never met in person, all arrangements were made via email, text and calls. Ken took personal responsibility for the job and his people. Look no further if you want someone who is responsive, capable and trustworthy. The cabinets we choose are wood as opposed to Thermofoil and the cost was comparable. The kitchen looks modern and adds value to the house.

After meeting Ken I believed I could trust him to help us out with our bathroom remodel and I was right! Ken was easy to get along with and was very generous with his time and ideas for our small space. Ken worked within our budget, was flexible with some small changes, worked with the other contractors and made sure it all came together at the end. We've very pleased with the bathroom and will be having him return to do our kitchen. I plan to recommend him to others at our condo looking for similar work.

The original estimate was one month and......yes, it was all completed in one month. This is in stark contract to my original kitchen remodel that was done by Lowes and took 6 months. That's right, you heard right.... 6 months. That was a horrific experience. In contrast Ken was true to his word that the job should take 1 month and it did. Ken is very good at his attention to detail. I never once saw him write down a single to do item, be he never failed to follow through and complete every detail required. He was at our house almost daily to follow up on how the job was going and ensure everything was moving forward. That was very much appreciated. He communicated well with us at every turn to be sure there were no surprises. Ken also had some really good ideas for us that we followed and are happy with the outcome. All in all, I am happy with the results and would definitely use him again for future remodel work.

Ken was a pleasure to work with. He was straightforward about the costs, and upfront about the timing. We replacing all cabinets, countertops an installed a backsplash. He came with great ideas of how to make our space more functional - and the end result was more than I had hoped for. We ran into some delays due to the holidays, but it wasn't too bad. All in all, very pleased with the results and would recommend him to anyone.
