+ -1 moreBILL CHARGED THE UNIT & QUOTED THE PRICE PER POUND. HE RETURNED ALL EQUIPMENT TO THEIR CORRECT PLACE. THE PRICE WAS CHEAPER THAN I WAS CHARGED IN DALLAS.
Description of Work: A/C WOULD NOT COOL. I CALLED MONDAY AM & BILL CAME ABOUT 1300 OF THE SAME DAY. HE PERFORMED SEVERAL CHECKS & THE UNIT WAS VERY LOW ON FREON. BILL WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING & ENGAGED ME IN THE EXCHANGE OF A/C CHECKS & HOW LEAKS WERE DETECTED. HE DIDNOT STOP WHEN THE UNIT WAS FOUND LOW ON FREON. HE FOLLOWED THRU WITH OTHER CHECKS TO ENSURE OTHER PROBLEMS DID NOT EXIST.

+ -1 moreBoth the service and customer service were fantastic with Presto Air. My wife called several other local A/C companies, and several days later we were still awaiting a call back. I called Presto Air and Bill came out that day. I know that I will be getting a new unit soon, and I will definitely go with Presto Air.
Description of Work: Bill came out and checked out our A/C unit, which by the way is 18 years old. It was running, but was not cooling the house. He did a very thorough inspection, and was honest and fair with his assessment. I knew the unit was on borrowed time, but he didn't push me to purchase a new unit, he instead got the A/C up and running.

Description of Work: Tony from Presto Air did an inspection on the A/C unit prior to me purchasing a home in Port Charlotte. I was very impressed with his knowledge, experience and he is a veteran. He provided an estimate, which was in my budget and I signed a contract. The following week, Tony and a helper (sorry I didn't get his name) installed a new A/C unit in my newly purchase home. They were very professional, worked in unison and completed the installation in a timely manner. They even cleaned up! Tony advised the breaker needed to be upgraded and he would return to change out the breaker.

Description of Work: After multiple quotes selected Presto Air to clean our and sanitize our A/C ducts. They arrived on time and completed the work in a professional manner although I had to request the technician to cover the floor under one of our return air ducts so the tile floor/grout under the duct did not get dirty as we had just had it cleaned.

+ -1 moreThey were local here. I had a contract with another company and something was wrong with my air conditioner and they wanted to charge me $3000 to fix it. This unit is only like three years old. So my friend said to get another estimate. So I called this man and he was a little close right here where I live and he came. He couldn't find anything wrong with the unit. He said probably it was maybe just a piece of mold that got got stuck and stuff or some of the water had ran out. There was nothing wrong with the unit and this other company wanted to charge me $3000 to fix it. It's a little company and he is a young man. He took over and I wanted to check out the whole unit. He couldn't find out what was wrong with. It has been working fine ever since. He didn't charge me anything. I contracted with him to come back every 6 months to check out the air conditioning box. The day that he came, he wouldn't take anything. i wanted to give him money but he wouldn't take it. He said because there was nothing wrong with the unit. He just glued something out and that was it.

I was so impressed that they were able to schedule me in so quickly and arrive before my movers, cleaners, etc. I suggested them to a neighbor who also used their services and she was charged far lower than another company had estimated. She also had a great experience. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: I can say enough good things about Presto Air. The day before I moved into my new house, the air stopped working. I called Presto and they were there at 7 am the next day and fixed the problem.
