+ -1 moreGreat Plumbers! I have used them a for a few years they always try and get out to the house as fast as possible very reasonable price wise and all the guys are super friendly. Fix problems quickly and everything runs great before they leave.

Description of Work: bathtub faucet was dripping. Bowersox came for first visit. I was told to call Kohler Co. and order the part number the plumber gave me. The part arrived, never opened the box, and plumber installed it ( Or so I thought) and was paid 150.00 dollars for the work. Later in the day, I observed the faucet was still dripping! I was not informed that the part was not correct at all. He completed the work without one word! Next day I called the business and the owner was unbelievably rude. Told me it was my fault I did not have the correct part. The plumber who did the work did not tell me that at all!!! When I asked the owner if he would come out and check the work again and get it straightened out, he yelled in a loud voice, " I will not" and "Don't you call me again!!" and slammed down the phone.

+ -1 moreWe have used him for three years and he is super intelligent. He is considerate and thorough. He is pricey but he is well worth it. He is trustworthy and prompt and we even used him for emergency services and we were able to count on him. We do not mind paying a few extra bucks if it is done right the first time. Brian is a great person and we will continue to use him in the future.

+ -1 moreI called on Monday because our water heater was leaking. Brian returned my call the same day and scheduled the water heater replacement the next day. His son Curtis came out the next morning and installed a new water heater. He was very professional and courteous. He did the work quickly, explained the maintenance on the equipment. The price was less than the estimate. Very happy with the work done for us. I would certainly use them again if needed.

Description of Work: Fixed a hole in laundry room water drain pipe. Didn't show up twice. Had to call and reschedule one and waited 1 1/2 hours for the second. If I didn't have to take time off work it would have been a little less agrivating.

Description of Work: Had a leak coming from waterline in wall behind the toilet in master bath. I called him to make a appointment, he and his son were out the next day early and they had the problem fixed in less than an hour. I am very happy with their work and will use them again for any more plumbing jobs.

+ -1 moreThis is my 2nd review of Bowersox Plumbing. We had just hired him on 12/17/14 for water leak. This time, our 8 year old water heater stopped working on Christmas day. I called Brian on 12/26 and told him what was happening. He said he would be out late morning. They arrived on time. He gave us the option of replacing an element in the old heater. We decided we wanted a new water heater. He and Kurt, his son, installed a new 50 gallon Rheem. We also had a good time talking to Kurt about local fishing!

+ -1 moreI had noticed an unpleasant smell in my office and could not find the source. After several days, I noticed the carpeting was wet, so we knew we had water leaking somewhere. Our clothes washer is on the other side of the wall so we thought there was a connection. Actually turned out that the PVC water line in the wall had developed a leak. It necessitated removing drywall to get to the leak and repair it.
Description of Work: Located and fixed a water leak. This water was saturating the carpeting in a bedroom we use as an office.

+ -1 moreBrian arrived on time, and began by jack hammering out the cement floor to allow access to the shower plumbing. He then changed and increased the height of the shower plumbing, and moved the handle to the shower at a better height for me. I am installing a handicap shower in place of a tub/shower combination. He installed the shower floor after he moved the plumbing to accomodate the new drain. He fully cemented new cement under the shower floor. He installed the floor perfectly for me. He does neat, nice work, and is a very Professional Master Plumber.I highly recommend Brian to everyone that needs a good plumbing job done well. I would not hesitate to call him again. Thanks Brian for a job well done for me......
Description of Work: I had a tub/shower combination removed from my bathroom. I needed Brian to install the new shower floor, change the drain to accomidate the new floor, move some plumbing, and to jack hammer the cement floor to allow him to change the drain. The job took 4 hours to do, and he did a beautiful job. He is a very professional plumber, is punctual, neat and clean worker, and I would hire him again. He is a Master Plumber, and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a good job done by an expert. I am glad I joined Angies List as I do not know any tradesmen in North Port. Description of Work: There was a water leak in the front yard underground. There was a coupling that loosened up and sprang a leak. They came out and thought very quickly and able to fix the problem immediately. Each year he checks the waterline in the area and has been using him for the past three and a half years.
