 + -1 moreWe have had a severe drought in FL and the first heavy rain occurred in May. At that time, rain ran from my ceiling in the kitchen, bringing down paint chips & plaster and leaving a gully in the ceiling. It also ran down the inside interior wall exiting over the door rail. I called Maxwell Roofing the next day, spoke with Pam (receptionist ?), told her about all the water & she said Erik would get back to me. I have called over 8 times in the past 4 weeks and no-one has returned my calls, come to see my home or responded to me in any way. The owner, Mr. Long, or Erick have NEVER called me. I sent them a certified letter which they received on June 13. On June 14, Michael (I don't know his position with the company} called to set up an appt. to view the damage. The first appt. was for 6/15. He never showed up. The second appt. was for 6/16, again a no-show. This co. is totally irresponsible, refusing to talk to me, take responsibility for their work, or inspect the damage they cause.
Description of Work: In Feburary 2007, I noticed two small yellow marks on my kitchen/hall ceiling which indicated to me a leak in the past. Maxwell Roofing said the water came in thru 2 vents in my tile roof and also my skylight was cracked and leaking and needed replacement. They replaced the vents with "a better model that would not let rain enter" and replaced the skylight with a "hurricane proof" glass one. I asked if the attic had been damaged in the past and they said no. After installation on 2/26/07 the job was completed and I paid the $1,700.
