drain cleaning
+ -1 moreThe job itself went very well, the men were pleasant and professional, my whole problem is with the price that they charged - because of that I would be very reluctant to use them again or to recommend them.
Description of Work: I had a clogged drain at my house in Nokomis, sewer water was coming up from the shower after the toilet had been flushed. I called Veteran plumbing, they returned my call very quickly, within about 5 minutes and were at my house in about another 5 or 10 minutes. I think the plumbers names were Chris and Kory (but I'm not positive). They were both very professional and pleasant. They were at my house about an hour and they unclogged the drain. I also had them replace two faucets at the side of my house since they were there. They charged me $50 for that job which I have no problem with. However I was charged $450 for the unclogging of the drain which I didn't comment on at the time, but the more I think about it and after my husband saw the bill he was very mad (so my total was $499). This seems very excessive, I would like the owner to respond if possible and tell me just how much they usually charge for this type of service. Clogged drains are usually emergencies but I really think I was severely taken advantage of - I find it very hard to believe that at some houses in Nokomis they present the owner with a bill for $450 for unclogging a drain.

+ -1 moreI can say nothing but good things about this company! Darrin and his crew are true gentlemen and do a very professional job. They were so patient and easy to work with personally and with the other coordinating subcontractors. The job entailed very high end Rohl fixtures installed on marble and they managed the job beautifully with not one scratch. I will be hiring Darrin to add a whole house water monitoring system that my insurance company is recommending in the near future. If you need plumbing service and installation you will not go wrong with this company!
Description of Work: Installed new plumbing for a kitchen and guest room remodel as well as a whole house filter.
