I recently purchased a twenty-year-old villa that needed remodeling and new kitchen cabinets and other upgrades and I found Jim Anderson's name on the neighborhood's preferred list of licensed contractors. This was my first time ever hiring a contractor and only had caveat as any advice from friends and family but they were also 1100 miles away. when I first met with Jim, I knew he was the right fit and hired him to begin the design process. He gave me a signed contract from the state of Florida building professionals that I will be covered for up to $50,000 should there be any loss if Jim / contractor not fulfill the agreement. With this government assurance, my HOA recommendation and all of Jim's credentials made my choice easy to live with during the time away during the renovations. I wanted a home my way with a kitchen design style that will endure, simple yet distinctive with high quality finishes that will amaze my guests and Jim delivered these ideas into reality better than I could have ever imagined. Given all the parameters on my remodel and at the end of my project Jim gets an A + and 5 stars and a huge thank you.

Jim came highly recommended by all of my enquires prior and working with him was a very positive experience with their designs, quality, punctuality and value for what I paid. They remodeled my kitchen with removing a wall and adding a large island with all new cabinets and granite counter with new wood look tiles throughout the kitchen and family room. It was an easy choice for me to choose James Anderson to do our kitchen remodel. Of the four companies that gave me an estimate he was the only legitimate contractor with proof and insurance. Jim Anderson doesn't just meet the highest standard of workmanship, I believe that he sets the standard by which all fine craftsman should be measured. Jim is honest, hard working, and reliable. He remodeled our kitchen, guest bath, laundry room and butler pantry and laid new tile thought all those rooms including a large family room. His attention to detail is magnificent. He remodeled our Florida home while we were up North for the summer and I just flew down to inspect the completed work and it was flawless. I have heard it said that if you are still talking to your contractor after a job is completed, it must have gone pretty well, but I will say that not only are we talking, we are forever thankful to Jim for the beautiful work that he did. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a craftsman like Jim Anderson.

If I could provide more than an "A" rating I would do so. Jim hit the ball out of the park in every area, started on time, completed in less time than originally thought, and his craftsmanship was outstanding and he used quality products throughout. He has an attention to detail not often found - he treated our remodel as if it was in his own home! When the counter was to be installed, the tradesman talked about how when he works with Jim, he never has to uses shims, as everything is level! I would recommend him to anyone who wants to do a remodel!

Jim was a pleasure to work with and he did a fabulous job on our kitchen remodel. We are extremely happy with the results and would absolutely work with him again. During the planning phase Jim made several visits to measure, remeasure and remeasure again. He provided a comprehensive description of the scope of work and was very transparent with his pricing. By the time we signed the contract we knew exactly what we were getting and how much we were going to pay. When construction began Jim always showed up on time and took great care to isolate the work area. He treated our home as if it were his own. He gave us regular schedule updates so we knew what work was planned and when tasks would be completed. From start to finish the quality of work was exceptional. On a scale from 1 to 10 Jim rates an 11!

Jim is exactly what we wanted from a kitchen contractor. To satisfy our piece of mind and protect our investment we wanted proof of experience, proper licensing and insurance and the ability to complete the project on time without excuses at a reasonable price. Sounds simple but wasn't easy to find. Three other kitchen designers simply vanished or ignored us and danced around our requests saying they will get back to us, or another said they will recommend a licensed contractor for a $600 fee if we buy their cabinets and design. Well hiring Jim was by far our best choice And hindsight our best decision. We quickly approved drawings and materials and Jim took charge of everything. We were absent during the renovation and we recently arrived back in Sarasota to enjoy our beautiful new kitchen . It involved removing and opening walls, raising the ceiling, new custom cabinets, electrical and plumbing, countertops and new tile flooring tbouhout the entire condo. During the entire project the communication to me was productive and informative. I would hire Jim again and recommend their service.

He did a number of things - he redesigned a center island for the kitchen, built a number of custom cabinets, whole entertainment unit, and also built a stand alone buffet.

The work was fantastic, and he was a perfectionist, he did the job sooner than he expected, he gave us exactly what we wanted, and he was great to work with. He's a skilled craftsmen.

He's very detailed in the work that he does. He's very conscientious about doing a good job. I was very pleased. He communicated with us on a regular basis when he had questions he wanted to ask us. He offered suggestions that were beneficial and made things very efficient for the kitchen and bathroom.

Simply put, Jim is the best of the best! Coming from out of state we were overwhelmed by all of the cordonations needed for a major remodel. Jim was our lifesaver. He has a "no nonsense" approach with direct communication and expecyations. From the initial designs to getting the project finished, on time and without any cost overuns. We were amazed and very pleased how well everything went. Jim took care of all the pertinent paperwork for our HOA and the required permits that included removing some walls, new electrical and plumbing, drywall, new ceilings, plank tile floors, custom made cabinetry and quartz countertops, crown molding, new doors and trim, gutted both bathrooms with new showers, a built-in fireplace and completely painted entire unit. Our 1970's beach condo with paisley wallpaper and pink toilets is now (in our honest opinion) the nicest condo we ever seen and we will cherish this quality workmanship forever! We highly recommend Jim and given the complexity of this project without any hitches and overall satisfaction, they deserve more than a A+ rating. 1. I received a referral to Jim Anderson from a company that had experience with him. 2. Jim came to the house and listened to what I wanted to do. He asked questions and provided some inputs that I hadn't thought about. He explained his process and the materials that he used (and why). 3. Jim provided a detailed quote on what was included in his proposal, itemizing everything that I wanted as well as some options including the associated cost. 4. He contacted a previous customer and it was arranged to see examples of his workmanship. 5. I was absolutely "blown away" by seeing the custom made cabinetry, bath and multi-room remodels, as well as the tile, paint and floor work he has done. 6. We agreed on the project and the starting date. He called a couple of days beforehand and reconfirmed the start date and time. He arrived on time (and did every day). 7. Each day he would explain what he was going to do. Some days he worked well into the evening so that the process he was doing could be completed. 8. The project was finished on time and looked even better than my high expectations. (By the way, the previous customer is going to have Jim come back and do the OUTSIDE of the house.) Saying that I am happy and satisfied with the work done is an understatement. It was like having a top notch design service and master craftsman rolled into one. From initial proposal to final completion, Jim was courteous, meticulous and conscientious.
