After studying the situation, Jim said he could do a one-time treatment for $199, or we could do a yearly plan with a contract for 3 payments of $124. When I asked if I could just have 2 treatments per year, Jim said that that would cost $199 for each treatment, because they would have to apply more of the solution they used. I believe that their main cost is most likely labor, and I felt that he had come up with $199 just to make the plan he suggested more appealing. I am retired and living on a fixed income, and so it is a hardship to have my monthly expenses increased by $31.00, since all of my other expenses are creeping up as well. However, since I needed to have the ant problem taken care of, I said I would go with the plan he suggested for the time being. I asked if I could cancel at any time, and he said that I could not because this was a contract, so I am locked in for a year. Therefore I cannot cancel, even if I am dissatisfied with the service. I believe that there is no need for a good company to do this unless they are afraid that they won't perform up to their clients' expectations, and I believe that this company should offer people the option of continuing service with no contract. Finally, when I asked about the 10% Angie's List discount, Jim said, "You are already getting a very good price." I don't know if that is true or not; but I do know that when a company makes a commitment, it should honor it, and this company did not. I will continue with them for the time being, but I find several aspects of our initial interactions to be somewhat troubling. The reader should exercise caution when dealing with this company.

So far, it’s been very good. They are very careful. When you have pets, it’s not toxic and we like that. When somebody here was very sick, they put the stuff in and we decided that we didn’t want it in the house because of the illness and they came right away and took it out and that was very good. They are very accommodating.

So far we have been very pleased with them. We have an annual contract with them. The main reason we chose them is that we have pets. The chemicals they use are not harmful to animals. The only thing specifically that we noticed the problem with was with fire ants. So they did treat that the first time in a week and they are coming back this summer to treat again for fire ants. We thought that the technician was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions. They come out quarterly but if we have a problem they would come out anytime.

Compare this wonderful service at no price to those companies who charge $60 simply to appear at the door. This company is wonderful! I'll certainly use them the next time I have a pest problem.

Previous to the fumigation, we had a few arrangements to make for us to be able to vacate the house. Motel reservations at a facility that would accept pets, have computer access in the rooms so my daughter would not lose work time as she works from home, etc. Macy's gave me every opportunity to schedule this to our convenience.Greg explained the entire process, personal preparations we needed to do before fumigation could happen, schedule of the work to be done, how it was done, when we would know it was safe to return. He always asked if I had any questions, if something arose later, to please call to ask. He was very thorough, patient and polite.

We have a contract with them. They always come when we call and make a real effort to solve any problems we have. They are reliable and provide friendly service.

Macy's is very good and reliable. They know their stuff. They are a family run business and have been around for a long time. They not only do the perimeter of the house but they also do the lawn and garden.

Macy's Termite & Pest Control has a worker named Samantha that stepped up to the plate and came in and saw the problem that I was having. It wasn't her area, but she called her manager and had him come out. You know, if you have one excellent employee it makes all the difference. Last year we had a tick problem for the first time ever and if you request it they would use organic materials.

I had a bad experience with them once and Samantha came and fixed everything. She's one of those employees that everybody would like to have. She cared about the whole service and so forth. I think all of their prices are about the same, but the fact that you can get non-chemical treatments is good. I got her particular name from the man across the street and he said don't go to anyone else and just ask for Samantha and I think that's kind of the whole theory of Angie's List.

I've been using them for ten years. They're very good, reliable, and trustworthy. They're Christian owned. The quality of their service is excellent. I will continue to use this company in the future.

They were excellent. They explained what they were doing well. It's pretty difficult to appraise a price if when they do the work, and I can afford it and I don't think it is expensive. They were dependable and prompt. They were forthcoming information about the job. I appreciate that they came back the second time and did the job free of cost. They were very good.

Kevin of Macy's supposedly found evidence of termite infestation in our garage. The potential buyers had house reinspected and the other inspector found no evidence of infestation and even said what the inspector at Macy's saw was not termites.

Overall, my experience with them was very good, aside from the fact that it was a lot of work. They did a really good job. They were very professional and on time, and their price was the lowest of several prices I got. One of the companies I contacted quoted me $2600 while Macy’s charged me $1500. Everything went according to what they said would happen. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

I got to know about them when they came soliciting while I was building this house. They take care of everything that creeps and crawls around here. They are a good company. They are a Christian business and to me that was important. Their prices are fair. Their technicians are polite, courteous, and on time.
