Thorson Landscaping, LLC

While on vacation out of state, I became involved in a family emergency and could not return home for several months. I asked friends for referrals for a landscaping company to maintain my yard while I was gone. A neighbor had a friend at church who recommended Thorson Landscaping and she mailed me his business card. I spoke to Mr. Thorson on the phone and told him I needed monthly trimming and weekly mowing for my very small yard (I live in a townhouse). He quoted me $75.00 a month and I mailed him a check for the first month. For the first few weeks, my neighbors told me that no one had showed up and they were mowing my yard for me. The first phone call to Mr. Thorson was me was met with an apology and a promise to take care of the situation. My neighbors reported that they saw him one time after that. After many more reports from neighbors that nothing more was being done and several phone calls to Mr. Thorson (who maintained he was doing the work--yet never asked for additional payments) I told him he was fired. This all happened over 10-12 weeks time. It seems that he was regularly servicing his regular customers, but not my yard. I can only assume that he thought I would not know because I was not there. I am seeking a new landscaping company . . .
