 + -1 moreI did not have the work done by Hodges because of their lack of professionalism during the bid process.
Description of Work: Through my property manager, I received a bid for roof replacement for my rental house from Hodges. The estimate was completed in a timely manner, and the quoted price was quite competitive. I decided to have the work done by Hodges, but after I moved a large sum of money to cover the job, Hodges delayed the process by failing to provide my property manager with basic documentation like his business license and bonding information. Once that was complete and we accepted the bid, Hodges claimed the quoted amount was a typo, and the real amount was quite a bit more. I can't say Hodges did this on purpose, but their sloppiness cost me time in getting the needed work done (by someone else).

 + -1 moreI contracted to have the roof retiled. They did the job. Came out to find the leak. Didn't find it. Didn't fix the stain to the ceiling.
Description of Work: Roofing for my home with skylight replacement. One of the skylights has a leak. They didn't find the leak and haven't fixed the ceiling. Ignored phone calls of late and letter I sent certified. I have pictures of the progressing stain.

 + -1 moreStarted a few days later than expected, but once they start they continued to the finish and did a good job. Supplied a disc showing the work for the insurance company.
Description of Work: Price included roofing, shingles (30Yrs), 15 yr guarantee and some repair of wood, new skylights.

 + -1 moreWe called Hodges Roofing because we like to support local businesses, and Initially we were pleased by responsiveness of company; however, their failure to successfully stop our leaking roof and charging us each time they came out to work the same area was more than enough to say no more Hodges Roofing!
Description of Work: Over a period of several months I called Hodges Roofing to repair a leak over our garage and dining room. Mr. Hodges came out himself the first time - examined the roof, and effected a repair. With the next heavy rain storm it was obvious the leak was not repaired. Another call - a different repairman who went to the same area and did work; and another charge for work. Same result - next storm, leaked. Silly me - I called them again - same result - repair, charge, another heavy rain and still a leak. No more calls to Hodges!
