 + -1 moreThe service was prompt friendly and thymes didn't try to sell me on stuff that wasn't necessary for the computer. I would like to think I know a good deal about computers but these guys are clearly the best around. Period.
Description of Work: Fixed and deleted some adware and malware from my hard drive and fixed my network.

 + -1 moreSince I have the same problem after I got the computer back, I was displeased with paying $50 and having the same problem I started with. I discussed the problem with Skip and he told me he checked the memory and disk and found nothing. I gave him the process I had used as I had tried to get rid of the malware, but he could not duplicate it. I told him that when I have a problem with a vehicle and take it to the shop and they can't replicate the problem or fix it, I don't pay. Since I live 25 miles away I could not continuously take the computer back. I finally put another 4-5 hrs on the problem myself and solved it. Skip refunded my $50, which I greatly appreciate.
Description of Work: I had malware attack my computer. I talked with Skip at Happy Computer and decided to take it to them. I left on a trip after I dropped it off. Skip called me that afternoon saying he could not replicate my problem (internet searches were being redirected to "Ihavenet.com" and other sites automatically). When I turned the computer off and back on immediately it would not allow me to use F8 to get into safe mode. If left off for 30 minutes it would go into safe mode.
