FIVE STAR PAVERS

The project started much later than initially discussed, in part, due to the extremely rainy summer and other projects they were trying to catch up from the weather delays. They started the middle of September 2014 and didn't finish until the middle of December. Although they were easy to work with, they weren't always responsive in a timely fashion. They needed quite a bit of money as they went along with the project, but since it was a big project, I understood the need to pay labor. They were given a professional design plan to quote from and ultimately work from, but they gave the wrong information to their sub-contracted landscaping team and the plantings got somewhat screwed up, and a lot of concessions on my part were made from the original plan. Although their work was okay, I had to give them an overall rating of "bad" because they were paid in full for the paver portion of the project but did not pay the paver company for the materials. We were on the hook to pay for the pavers twice. Five Star Pavers can no longer be reached, and we are told they have gone out of business. The owners names are Tim & Mae Harless. They may be working again under a different company name.

I have to agree with other reviews. These guys will not call you back despite repeated messages left on answering system. Good luck if you do make contact.

Owner left on a 3 week trip after getting deposit which put my start date off. They took 5 months to complete and many of the pavers are uneven and sinking leaving ridges for someone to trip or stub toes. Don't use them!

Called them multiple times between Sep '12 and Oct '12 for work I wanted done. Twice I left a message and asked for a call back and a quote. I didn't get a response either time. I heard they were good and may be...I hope they are busy making other customers happy.
