I found Elliot Plumbing on Angie's list. They had a number of positive reviews. I called and Mark Elliot came over and I discussed what was needed and he looked over the job. He didn't gives us an immediate price just said the rate was $105/hour, but didn't think it was more than a 2 hour job. What was need in the job was to open the wall in the adjoining bedroom to change out the valve system for the shower. We were going from an old Delta unit to a Moen. We called the office after Mark's visit and arranged a time for the work, and for someone to be here at the house. They arrived promptly. The job required replacing the spigot, the valve and the control, the overflow, the drain plug, and the shower goose neck and head. When the job was completed, I was using the shower and noticed the head moved about 1 to 1.5 inches from side to side when I grabbed it to reposition the sprayer. I thought that was strange that it was that loose. I also realized that while it didn't effect the function of the shower head, down the road when the unit needed to be replaced it was going to be difficult to remove the goose neck with it not being secured. I looked up from the hole in the wall from the adjoining room, where the valve was replaced, and could see the elbow had separated from the support two-by-four running horizontally behind the shower head. I called Mark and he agreed with me that what I described didn't seem right. He was very up front about the problem, and offered immediately to send someone by to either check it out, or to actual fix whatever the problem was. Mark came over a night or so later and did the repair. It required opening a second hole at the shower head level in the adjoining room, and removing the support two by four, so a new "drop eared elbow" could be secured to the board before putting the two by four back in place. After that is was a simple matter of replacing the goose neck and shower head, and then doing a leak test. Elliot Plumbing did not ask for additional money for this second visit. Bottom-line, I would definitely use Elliot Plumbing in the future. They were prompt, and professional. There was a problem, they didn't gives me a hassle, they just came back out and got it right. Mark and his employees were great to deal with.

He was able to work on all the items that I requested in a timely manner. He vacuumed out the dryer duct. He was able to unclog the toilet. He was able to work on the kitchen faucet. However, the mechanism is frozen and he was unable to get it to come apart without damaging the faucet and was therefore unable to replace the seat and spring.

I had removed the old faucet and installed a new one but I could not make the rod that controls the sink stopper work. Mr Elliott came out checked it out, took the faucet plumbing apart and found it was missing a part. He installed the missing part, replaced the faucet plumbing and installed the new sink drain plumbing and checked everything out. He was fast, efficient, and very informative. A pleasure to do business with. I have already recommended him to friends and neighbors.

Repaired leak within 20 minutes and no problem since.

Sunday night, in preparing for freezing temperatures, we tried to remove all hoses in our "new to us" home. House 30+ years old, not sure how long hose had been attached - but too long without being removed. When removing hose, faucet came off with the hose. Copper pipe broke and a geyser of water was the result. We cut the water off to the house and started making phone calls to plumbers to see who could come out. Left some messages, not wanting to go the emergency route since we were already done for the night. Got a hold of Elliott Plumbing first thing Monday morning and they had a plumber they could send over within the hour. Austin was very nice, he did a great job. Instead of chipping brick away from the exterior of the house, he removed some dry wall from inside and with some assistance from us on the outside of the home, was able to replace the faucet with almost no damage to the home at all. Only thing left to do is just hide the seam from where the wall was cut and repaint it once we get some paint. We are happy to do that. After he replaced the faucet, Austin helped with removing the last hose from faucet on the other side of the house. Just to make sure there were no problems with that one. He was very nice and did a fantastic job. We were only charged for two hours of work! No emergency fee, nothing additional to an hourly rate. We could not believe it. What a great company this is. This will be the only plumber we look to. Thanks!

Super job! I didn't expect a response to my phone message on Sunday morning, which I left late Saturday afternoon. He called Sunday morning about 7:30 and arrived a couple of hours later. Got right to work figuring out where the leak was and fixed it within 2 hours. Installed cutoff valves to isolate various circuits of water system. I'm doing the fill-in of the holes, I want to draw a map of the system. Very helpful and explained the process and options. Super to work with! Highest recommendation!

The cost was very reasonable. They were prompt, polite, affordable and knowledgeable. We haven't had any issues since the service. They fixed it. It was very affordable. They're our new 'best friend'.

On Sat night, Oct 18 we noticed the carpet was damp near the wall in our walk-in closet. Our walk-in closet borders both bathrooms. After reading the reviews I hit the schedule now button for Elliott's Plumbing and I'm sure glad I did. I wrote a small description of our problem, left my contact info, and even uploaded two pictures of the area. I figured I wouldn't hear anything until Monday. I figured wrong, my phone rang Sunday morning. Mark introduced himself and assured me it was no problem to come out on Sunday. I was very grateful as he identified the problem, fixed it, and we were able to enjoy the rest of the weekend. In addition we recently had our gas stove replaced. We couldn't push the new stove back against the kitchen wall because the gas line needed an addition added to it to allow that. We scheduled an appointment with Elliot's Plumbing for the morning of 14 Nov. They took care of us, Stick was very professional and courteous. Thank you! We were exceptionally happy with this service. I am sorry I don't remember the name of the plumber who came out to do the work, but we appreciated his responsiveness, professionalism and everything about this visit. Best $ I spent on a service call in a long time!

From our initial phone call, to scheduling the install date, all options and prices were provided and discussed. Very professional. Stick was on time (early actually). He is a personable individual and professional technician. His work is top notch and was completed quickly (approximately 1 hour to remove the old water heater and install the new one). I broke a water pipe late in the day that I couldn't repair. Called Elliot's Plumbing a repairman called me back within an hour saying that he was on the way. Repairman was professional, courteous & fast had water restored to home in a short time. Would use again if I had another problem.

Absolutely incredible. We had a warrantee (limited to $500) on plumbing for the house so were mandated to go with another company at first. The OTHER COMPANY took 3 weeks to put a hole in my wall, realize they hadn't found the leak, and tell me it was going to cost $4,000 to fix because they had to dig under the house to find it. I had heard of Elliott Plumbing from a friend and quickly called them. In 2 DAYS Elliott plumbing had magically located the leak and fixed it for $150. So glad we went with Elliott Plumbing. Great people, great work, professionals all around.

Elliott Plumbing worked hand-in-hand with Bobby Porter Tile to ensure completely smooth installation of our updated master bath shower. When Bobby was done removing the old shower, Elliott Plumbing came in and installed the new shower pan, and changed the 2-handle shower water control to a single valve control. They also replaced the pipes for the new shower head. When we started renovation of a 2nd tub/shower into a shower only, Elliott again worked with Bobby Porter Tile to install a brand new shower pan, and relocate the 2-handle tub/shower water control to a different location and a single valve control. They were timely in their arrival in all 3 visits, and very professional in their work. they were able to find the oil-rubbed drain cover we required, which we could not find at any of the home stores. We will be using Elliott again next year when we re-work our laundry room. We trust them with all of our plumbing needs!

The owner was very experienced and very helpful. His workers were having a really bad day and they expected the job to take 3.5-4 hours and it ended up taking the majority of the day. It took about 7 hours. It wasn't really their fault. This house has odd size fittings and it is not standard. They had to go to another town to get the fittings. It was a custom built house and everything on it is not standard. There were 2 of them and they were very professional. They didn't jack up the rates over the quote because of the time difference because they were on an hourly rate. They just charged me the original quote for 3.5-4 hours. I couldn't complain about that. They didn't even charge for a handle on my main water inlet to the house. I was here all day and we hadn't moved in so that was a little annoying but it wasn't their fault. I called them and he was there the next day to give the quote. They were slightly late but you never know about the traffic. They were professional. One was a country boy and he treated me with respect. They explained things as they were doing them. I may use them for a bath remodel.

We located Mark via Angie's list and sent an email through your service. He was prompt in responding and showed up the next morning just as promised. He fixed two toilet issues we had and was on his way. A few days later, we had a kitchen faucet issue and we called him back. He quickly responded and came back the next day to fix it. They did the majority of the work. They're waiting for the gas to run the gas from the street to the house to the meter and they'll come out to reconnect it. They're not done but they've done the plumbing on the inside of the house. I called and asked for an estimate to do the plumbing work and I talked to the owner and he was able to coordinate and schedule and he got me in between other jobs which I appreciated. Instead of coming out to give me an estimate, he just sent 2 workers on my house. It took 2 to 3 days after I called him. They basically just did the job. I still don't know how much it's gonna cost. The workers were knowledgeable. They went right to the task. I monitored a little bit of the work and they seemed to know exactly what they were doing. They were very business-like. They were not interested in engaging me in conversation. They were both very quiet. They basically did what I wanted done and they did it quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up their mess when they were done. It's hard to complain about but I haven't seen the bill yet.

The problem started as soon as we noticed we had no hot water coming from the gas hot water heater. I called Elliot's and Mr. Stick showed up first thing the next morning. He was prompt and very polite. After he looked at the hot water heater for a few minutes he said"you have a leak". He searched the house and determined it was under the foundation. He recommended that I call a company that specializes in locating these leaks. (Hydro Scout). My reaction was here it comes ($$$$$). That was not the case. Hydro Scout showed up the same day and located the leak in 30 minutes. The cost was $250. Extremely professional and I need to rate them on Angie's List. Stick from Elliott'e Plumbing showed back up that evening and went to work. Busted out the concrete and fixed the busted pipe. When he was done he did a thorough job cleaning up and the cost was $240 dollars. All this in the same day. Stick was extremely professional and polite as my family watched him work. The dog and my granddaughter would not leave him alone while he worked. He never got agitated. In the end I was charged $240 dollars and had hot water the next day. This company is remarkable, fair, polite, and professional. That is hard to find these days.

It went great! I was afraid the sidewalk would have to be broken up. Instead, Mark was able to dig under the sidewalk. He cut out the section of the pipe that had the leak in it. He had already done that by the time I had gotten home from running errands. He replaced it with a new section of pipe. He finished up about 15 minutes later, and everything worked fine!

They have been out about three times at three different properties. This time they repaired an underground water leak between the house and the meter. They are great. Their prices are comparable to other plumbers, but they know what they are doing. I have found that plumbers are the most difficult to find, but I believe I have found the one I can rely on.
