+ -1 moreI had used Carter's before. I called him Sunday, he answered immediately and stated he'd be out to look at my A/C. It was determined that I need a new unit. He was prompt, polite, and very courteous. Great follow up with everything.
Description of Work: My air conditioner stopped working on Sunday.

+ -1 moreIt went great! I had the unit set to 60 initially to dehumidify the house. I had to sleep under covers it was so nice for a change.
Description of Work: New 13 SEER Heat Pump System installed with manufacturer's 10 year parts warranty and two year labor warranty.by Mr Carter. He is licensed and insured and does quality work at a fair price. I did not need new lines or wiring as my old system was the same size and I appreciated him not trying to sell me something I really did not need. My cost was for just what I needed, a new inside unit and a new outside unit and his labor to install them. I am buying a new programmable thermostat but could not get it by installation time. My old manual thermostat is still good so he used it for now. He said call when I get the new thermostat and he will come out and install it at no further charge. I thought that was extraordinary. If you want repairs or a new system at fair pricing call Mr Carter. I am convinced he will not try to sell you something you don't need.
