BELTZ LIQUID WASTE MANAGEMENT

One of the employees took out my front gate on June 29th 2022 while servicing the portable toilet and the company refused to reimburse me for the repairs. Darla told me I had to sue her before she would pay for any of the damages to my farm gate!!

I called around to a few vendors and found they were all at $300 or above. Since $300 was quoted by Beltz and since our neighbor was satisfied with their recent pump-out, I decided to go with them. It was easy to arrange a date and time window on the phone. The two-man crew arrived within the time window and went right to work. They found the cover quickly enough, dug it out and proceeded to pump the tank out. Steve and his associate were very cordial during the time they were here. Steve told me about the workings of our particular system and made a recommendation to insure that the tank would not cause future problems. It did not take long for the tank to be pumped out, followed by the cleanup, which was done with thoroughness. I will definitely call on them again three years from now.

In September 2012 our drain was clogged. We had company staying with us and it was a hot evening. I called Beltz, because those were the ones that had serviced the septic for the previous owner of the house. Darla and Steve didn't let us down: they came that evening, pumped out the tank and even helped us get the kitchen sink unclogged! They were an amazing rescue team. Working over time in the heat without one complaint! After looking at everything, Steve had already told me, that we might have issues with the drain field, because the septic shouldn't have been that full according to the records. Low and behold, soon after we had issues again and they had to come out a second time to pump the tank. That's when we decided to get an estimate on a new septic system. I didn't even bother to contact any other company, because Steve and Darla were so knowledgeable and competent. When they weren't sure about something they'd call the inspector to sort out things to make sure getting a permit and passing inspection wouldn't be a problem. When the inspector came out to check on the location for the drain field he assured me, that he enjoyed working with Beltz for their competence. Despite Steve still ailing from a major health issue he and Darla started work on our new septic system on Tuesday, March 12th 2013 and were done the next day in the evening! They came early in the morning with all their equipment and Steve started with taking down one big magnolia and several small ones to prevent roots damaging the new system. Then he dug all the trenches and destroyed the old septic and filled it in with dirt. He managed to keep the construction site contained to a minimum. As they had suggested we put in a larger system than the minimum requirement due to us hosting friends and family on a regular basis. They explained their work to me in every step. Darla and Steve put in the new and bigger tank with two chambers and two filters and put in all the required layers, pipes and fabrics. Darla working like a man and Steve working so hard I was afraid he might drop from exhaustion. The bill really was a surprise as they gave us a discount for one pump-out, because they couldn't start work as early as planned due to Steve's health issue. Inspection passed without problems and the system is working fine since over a year now. Had Steve come out on May 5th 2014 for a stench I had noticed and was worried something didn't work properly. He dug up both lids and checked and found a toilet leaking. He showed me how to replace the flap and which one to use and I haven't had a problem since. Beltz are the best!

PROS: - Very polite and informative - Took the time to explain services and upkeep requirements - Conscientious of surroundings in the yard when driving truck and working - Extremely Reasonable pricing SUGGESTIONS for IMPROVEMENT: -Appointment scheduling- I set an exact date and time for my service appointment. The day of the service was met, but the time was not. I understand if other emergencies come up bumping my appointment, but a notification would have been nice. OR explain when I scheduled that your appointments don't run in an exact time format.

The team arrived on time and explained the process the whole time. We are first time septic tank users and needed to know all the information. I would use them again (but hopefully I won't need to for a long time!)

Steve came on pretty short notice, and quickly located the septic tank. He was able to address my concerns and was very informative about the costs which may be involved. He was honest and didn't push me to have unnecessary services performed. I would recommend you use his services, and I will definitely call him in the future.
