A to Z Appliance Repair

The company appeared very friendly initially. They sent out one of their technicians who diagnosed the problem as a water pump leak. Therefore, the pump was replaced with a new one. The visit was followed up by a call approximately 1 week later because we smelled smoke coming from the washing machine during use. They said it was due to the new pump, but did not find any electrical issues. Now it is 2 months later and the machine is leaking large amounts of water again during use. My wife calls A-Z and speaks with the manager/owner who tells her no one can come out for 1 WEEK since the techs are all on school break. One week is a very long time when my wife has to do baby/family laundry so frequently. I guess since they already made money off of us, there is no urgency to come back to assist. I called back to confirm with the same individual the reason for such the delay. He confirms that all of his technicians are college students and they are off during school break. I assume he has no other employees that work for him full-time and is dedicated to this trade as a career. I can't imagine how one can run a successful business with employees that only work when school is in session. Ultimately, he tells me " It is not the end of the world. You have your health, we are alive right..." Despite being professional and cordial on the phone with him. He had no concerns that we were not happy or was planning to contact a different company. In addition, not recommend his company to any of our friends. He seemed very ambivalent, maybe because he knows he just lost a customer. I hope my experience help everyone out there looking for a dependable appliance repair company.
