Heker did a service call on my hot water heater, showed up on time, was knowledgeable and identified several problems that the previous installer (big box) had made, repaired and replaced valves and expansion tank, he was in and out in a timely manor, saved me from having to get a new heater, will use howell again

I don't like giving negative feedback but I have got to tell you I am not pleased with the work done by Howell Plumbing and I can not recommend them if you need work done. They came recommended to me by other owners but they came up short for me. I had them install a garbage disposal and toilet the middle of February. They did not install the disposal properly. The pipe to go into the P Trap was too short and barely connected to the fitting. After a while it just vibrated loose. I called them to come out to fix it. I could not be here I was attending a meeting with the building's insurance carrier and the technician took advantage of my wife's good nature and told her it was not covered and would cost $100 (1/3 the total I was charged for both the toilet and the disposal. I tried several times to talk with them but they recognize my number and let it go to voicemail. I even tried texting them and no response. I have no other option but to post this negative feedback. It is obvious that the pipe was too short and eventually would come apart. It was not installed properly and Howell would not make good on their work. The photo below shows the fix and how it should have been installed initially.

Dan P. showed up and determined that the leak could not be fixed by him because the valve was Eljer and Howell Plumbing did not carry replacement part for that valve. I was able to find Eljer valve replacements on line but Howell would not order and it was up to us. Charged us $98 for the a service call of 10 minutes. This is poor customer service in my opinion. We will not call on Howell Plumbing ever again. Contacted another company, Lutz Plumbing. Described issue to plumber at Lutz on the phone. They came out on 8/23/22 and removed the leaking valve. They replaces washers and a bushing on the valve. Problem solved! Great customer service!! Steve D - Condo at Ponce de Leon Towers , NSB

Kenny & Jared removed two old commodes and installed two new ones that we had purchased for the job. The work was excellent. Both men were professional and pleasant. The work was performed quickly and the cleanup was great. Will definitely hire again.
